How Long Does Hydrocodone Stay In Your System For A Urine Test (Page 3)

I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

Yes, they will absolutely show up different on a drug test. I am a nurse, i know what i'm talking about. Vicodinwill show up as oxy where as lortab is in the codeine family

Hey guys I took 10mg of hydrocodone Wednesday night when I was drinking with my buddies. I found out today I have a drug test on Monday. I occasionaly take hydros, like twice a month for the last couple monts. Will my piss be clean by Monday? And is there anything I can do to get it out of my system faster?

This is a complete lie oxygen and hydro are to completely fifteenth make ups you even said it yourself that taking one 15 mg oxygen would be like four 10mg hydro it will not show up as the same thing they will show up completely different. I've read a ton of your posts now and for you to tell ppl not to worry is giving them false hope it takes 5-7 days for the AVERAGE person to rid themselves of opities!!!

Hello I took 2 5/325 narco (Vicodin) at around 5pm yesterday 12/24/2012 for bad back pains. I have a county probation test on 12/26/2012 at around 3:00pm. I am 5'11'' and about 130lbs. what are the chances i would test positive for this. I have been prescribed these before in the past year for two different types of pain.

They are basicly the same Shows the same Becareful using pain not perscribed by a DR. That is two things one is you are breaking the law. Second Narc. are not for minor pain that is what makes it hard for people like me who was hit by a car and broke my back years ago to convince a DR that i'm not a drug addict. (I have a Good Dr now that know my complete histroy) So if you are using and not perscibed stop if you cant get help.

Well i wound up in the hospital the pain was too much to bear. And i did not take the pills illegally as i have a script for them. As i have cronic back pain and a history of kidney stone. This was an iteresting visit the hospital though they told me the cartilege between my ribs were swollen and pushing my ribs apart. Thus the pain. But i seemed to have found the answer to my own question before going to the hospital. The half life is 3.8 hours on average. With a slow metabolism will take longer. I have an extremely high metabolism so i calculated everthing out giving room for errors and was fine. Take the miligrams taken and for every 3.8 hours divide in half until you hit zero! Yes, your right. hydro and Oxy have 15 different makes up. Both Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are narcotics, opiates, and opioids. Technically speaking, hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid derived from codeine and/or thebaine (two naturally occurring opiates), while oxycodone is yet another semi-synthetic opioid derived from thebaine. The term narcotic originally referred to opiates (morphine, diamorphine-heroin, and codeine), but is now used more loosely to define all DEA controlled substances. All opioids are opiates, but not all opioids are technically opiates. For example, most semi-synthetic opioids are derived from either morphine or codeine; both of which are pure opiates. Examples being both hydrocodone and oxycodone, and meperidine (Demerol). Then you have methadone and fentanyl, neither of which are true opiates, but nonetheless they are each synthetic opioid agonists; with there chemical make up each created from an opiate structure. Tramadol is another example; being a synthetic analogue of codeine.

Like you, I agree they are opiates. People, I make mistakes. We all make mistakes. There are only a few posts on here. That try to help to give comfort. But be imformative. Do the research. Those who come on here to "cry or call for help" need someone to listen to. I I have plenty of friends and family I know of that have abused or actually take their prescribed meds like they should.
No one wants to hear a negative approach in response to their questions. Have someone ever came back and say, "hey you dude! You lied!" I just read through and didn't see any.

Lets not be so negative. This forum or bulletin allows us to share experiences and ask questions. It's cool if your job is being a Doctor, nurse, pharmacist, etc.. But try to put yourselves in some of these people's shoes.

A rough way I compare this is being a male gynecologist. How can a male doctor be really that understanding than any female? Or a female proctologist!

So... I actually do have a question. What's the benefit of a doctor prescribing Fentanyl instead of basic opiates? Cause after an operation I had on my back. They gave me a prescription for 25microns. And for three days.. I'll tell ya.. I feel great. But when I am off. I feel like death! Lmfal

my meds were stolen. I have two 10 mg. lortabs to take and haven't had any all month. what times should I take them to pass my drug test. I need a positive result for lortab. my test is at 7:45 Monday morning.

My girlfriend has Benny having migraines for the past few weeks... Over that time frame I have given her approximately 8-10 lortab 10's. The last dose was 5 mg
This morning. Now she has to be drug tested at her job in the morning ! Will these opiates show up on a urine
Test ? She is 5'2 , 105 lbs. ( almost no body fat).
Please reply asap. We are really worried as I am out of work right now , and if she loses her job, our family will be homeless and hungry ( have toddler child ) .

It will only show up for 1 day in your system. That is if its a urinal test.

Yes it will show up. Shes not prescribed them so she had no buisiness taken them. Those hydrostatic was to much of a Mg to get out of her system in time for a drug test! Why didn't she go to the emergency room instead? Then they would prescribed her the same thing (hydrocodone). Then she would have a script in her name to show them that shes on them. Because its gonna show up. To late to do anything about it now. Sorry.
