Effects of Long Term Amitriptyline Use on the Hear
After 20 years of taking amitriptyline for headaches I would like to find people who have had any heart related side effects after long term amitriptyline use. ## Very little is known about the long-term effects of most drugs for depression. The biggest problem reported currently is relapse, when the medication is discontinued. What is Tripolene ## Trepiline contains the active ingredient Amitriptyline. This is an antidepressant. Tablet Amitryn And Its Side Effects
Tab Amitryn 2.5mg is prescribed along with anti epileptic drugs. Hence I wish to know the rsaon for introducing this drug and its side effects. ## This contains the active ingredient Amitriptyline, this is a tricyclic antidepressant. I can't find anything about it being used for seizures or epilepsy. The only thing I can think of that makes sense is that it may have been given to try to combat the side effects of some of the other medications. My mother is diabetes and suffer from burning foot and ankle pains and symptoms. Her doctor has prescribes Trepiline 10mg, one at night time. Any reason why? As i have reading up on the drug, and no where does it state anything to do with the lower leg pains. Also will this be the reason why her blood suger levels spike (+15) now and again? ## Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant, some of these do help some people with certain types of nerve pain.
