That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. My wife has been advised to take ZEMPRED 14D. Dose HALF TABLET PER DAY FOR 20 DAYS,along with Methotrexate,[taken weekly twice. Can Zempred be taken on these two days also. or only on other five days. what could be the side effects and their implications.

How effective is Zempred in the treatment of genital psoriasis? Are there any studies? ## Hi Dr., After plenty of research, I haven't located any studies on using Zempred (methylprednisolone) for psoriasis; however there are many claims stating it can in fact be used for psoriasis - (the level of effectiveness is just unclear). Hi I am advised zempred 4 for 30 days one tablet per day. I have adult acne but not that severe. What are the possible side effects of consuming 30 tablets. Also should I start with the dosage. ## Hello, Niki! How are you? Who told you to take this medication? This is a steroid class medication and, according to the U.S. FDA, it can actually cause or worsen acne as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and insomnia. A 14 yr old boy has taken only one dose of Zempred 8mg for a severe allergy on his face & arms (rash which is red, itchy and sandpaper like) in combination with Fluticort ointment. Is it fine to discontinue the pill and have a non steroidal med instead as I'm afraid of giving him a steroid since he's asthmatic too? Will stopping the medicine after only one pill of Zempred cause further harm?

My son of 11 years has been taking zempred 16mg twice a week for 3 months. Earlier on he took it for 18 months at dosages of 16mg, 8mg and 4mg; but when the dr stopped prescribing it, the white spots started spreading. He prescribes "Immune Suppressive" medicines like Psorid 50 mg, Immonaral etc. and those works wonder with UV therapy....but please do not take these medicine...

My father has taken Zempred 8mg 1BD for a week. Then the same tab 1OD for a week. Then 1/2 a tab for a week. The same course was repeated after two months. I am getting rashes on my forehead due to hair colour treatment, though I use ammonia free colours. Way back in 2009 I developed severe allergies through hair colour treatments and was advised to take zemfred 4 for 3 days along with some antibiotics. I was surprised to see the results. Post the treatment I started with ammonia free hair colour as advised and was happy till date but now even the safest colours do not suit. Whenever I go for hair colour and get a rash.
