oval pill that has G 2 printed on both sides was found and donot know what it is ## I cannot find a listing for this in any of the U.S. prescription drug databases. The double marking like that leads me to believe it is probably something available over the counter. There is, however, also a small chance that it is a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S.? ## Hi there, I have these pills they are over the counter that I bought at Target. Their generic form of Mucus and Cought Relief. It's for soothing the cough and loosen congestion. It comes in a 30 tablet bottle and the active ingredients are Dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg. as a cough suppressant and 400 mg of Guaifenesin as a Expectorant. oblong scored white pill, 293 imprint, one side has a star with a triangle in the middle of it ## I am sorry, I'm not finding this listed in any of the prescription medication databases. It could be something new to the market, or any one of a large number of over the counter items or foreign medications. I know I've seen the logo, before, but I cannot place what it was on. Do you have anymore information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## In USA, imprint has six points. Looks like an alien man with antennae, or a star. ## It's 500mg Paracetamol.

this is a white oblong pill and it has no imprints and it is not scored on either side ## It's a big whitish oblong pill on one side it has a line with no code or letters or numbers on either side ## If a tablet has no markings on it, then it is most likely an over the counter product. All manufactured prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have unique imprints to enable them to be identified, but that is not the case with over the counter products. Thus, these can be difficult to narrow down. Does anyone have any idea what they may have been? ## NO imprints for even a OTC is not likely - may be homemade or South American Rx (but even there you are most have some sort of marking - sometimes just a "symbol" of Trade Mark, etc.) - my advise is to throw it away - neve...

Is this a pain pill or possibly an antibiotic? I found it while cleaning out my medicine drawer. ## white oblong scored pill that has PH 063 on it. ## I cannot find a listing for this, does anyone else have any information? ## Several people in a have stated this to be <a href= 400 mg (a generic Mucinex), which is used to thin out mucus. ## Yes, the oblong white, scored tablet with a PH on one end and 063 on the other is a generic version of Musinex or Guaifenesin 400 mg. I purchased mine at Price Chopper.

white large oblong pill with no imprint of any kind but it is scored on one side ## Most probably Paracetamol 500mg. Why do you not have the packaging, blister or patient information leaflet? If it is a 'found object' then it should not be consumed under any circumstances. The packaging will ALWAYS tell you what you have. It is compulsory to have the relevant information printed on the aluminium of the blister pack, or the bottle in which it came. Pills should never be in any container or packet which is not sealed and which does not carry the information regarding contents and dosage. ## I have a long white rectangle pill with 3 acres on each side but no imprint on either side? Can this be zanax 2 mg

I found a pill with the imprint L917 on it and dont know what it is. It is not scored and has no manufacturer name. What is it? ## I can't find a listing for this in any of our resources, which does make sense, because most of the tablets with an L followed by three additional numbers are over the counter items and they are not required to log their imprints with the FDA. Was it found in the U.S.? Does anyone else recognize this? ## I was prescribed hydrocodone 5 mgs and found a white oblong pill with l917 no line in the center of the pill just L917 and on the pill the bottle it says watson pharmacueticals but i cant find L917 in watsons data base. So I really want to know what kind of pills these are because I know they are not hydrocodone. wallgreens filled the script and they hav...

found ablong white pill with 12 on one side ## Hello, Vadergirl! How are you? I think the imprint you're looking at may actually be a capital i with a 2. If so, it is manufactured by Perrigo and they list it as containing 200mgs of Ibuprofen, the over the counter dosage. The FDA classifies this as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. white oblong pill scored 22 not sure whats on the other half ## Without the complete imprint, figuring out what this is is purely guesswork. Neither the shape, color, nor numbers are proprietary and therefore, not enough to enable us to positively identify it. It is the entire imprint that enables us to do so, coupled with the other information. There are several pills that meet this general description with the number 22 on them, usually with additional numbers and/or a logo of some type. For instance, a white online, scored with a V on on side and the letters 2266 on the other would be Baclofen, which is a muscle relaxant. And this is just one example. Is there any way you could let us know the rest of the marking?

The pill is a white oblong pill with 002 printed on one side and a straight score down the center on the other ## I found a white oblong pill with a strikingly similar description, the only different being that the first 0 is a U (not fully enclosed); but it appears as U02 on one side and is blank & scored down the center on the other. If you think this might be a match, the contents are reported to be: hydrocodone bitartrate (7.5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); made by Aurolife Pharma. For additional verification, it also carries a National Drug Code of 13107-0020. I hope this helps!

I found a very small oblong pill in my clonazepem. I am trying to identify it. The imprint is so small I can barely read it, but it looks like 51 on one side, and IV on the other. It is not scored. ## Hello, The closest match I can find based on the description provided is Carvedilol (3.125 mg); which is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, angina, atrial fibrillation, and left ventricular dysfunction. It is a small white oblong pill with the imprint 51 on one side and TV on the other. The "T" could very well be mistaken for an I. Learn More: Carvedilol Details I hope this helps!

found some large oblong white pills that were cut in half. They were in a pill box with tylenol and advil. These white ones had no marking except for a vertical line down the middle where they were cut in half. Any clues to what they may be? ## I'm sorry, but if there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to narrow down exactly what these tablets may contain. We can rule them out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required by law to have unique markings to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter items, there is even a small chance it could be a foreign medication. Did you find these in the U.S.? Does anyone else have a idea of what these might be? ## the small white oblong tablets are being sold ...

Oblong, flat side wrapped with nothing imprinted on it or scored. ## I'm not sure if that's a type or if you meant to say wrapped, but could you please post back and clarify? If there are no imprints, then we can pretty much rule it out as being a prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, there are quite a few possibilities among over the counter medications and more details may help me to narrow it down. Learn more OTC drug details here.
