Have you tried Leading Pharma or Teva Lorazepam?

Some people say it is less effective or has no effect due to less active ingredients, causing some side effects or reaction to someone. Some recommend Teva but some say it is not good. However, I can't get Teva as there is no pharmacy to dispense it in my area. I tried other brands after Qualitest was discontinued, but did not find any that work. ## It really varies from person to person, so there is not specific best pill that you can be told about. The FDA warns that Lorazepam carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, nausea, mood changes, and irritability. What are the markings on the tablets you are currently taking? Can you please post back and clarify, so I can research more details for you? ## Leading Pharma lorazepam is...

leading pharma 2mg lorazepam

I am really confused with everyone posts about the leading brand lorazepam I take 2mg and have been on lorazepam generic form for 25 years I've taken every single kind from Watson to now leading it looks like the sugary taste is everyone's problem here such bad reviews about this company is obserred they are no different than any other generic lorazepam they work the same the only difference in this pill is that it's inactive ingredient contains potassium and that's why the pill taste like sugar but my point here is that if are a longtime user of benzos you people would have all ended up withdrawing and possibly seizing if the pill really didn't contain the main ingredient and the er doctor would have been the first to report this pharmacy if your illness had anythin...

Inactive ingredients of Qualitest or Leading Pharma Lorazepam

What are the inactive ingredients of Qualitest lorazepam or Leading Pharma lorazepam? Does anybody know? It seems that its formula might have been changed because I feel 1mg is less effect than before or does not work. I used to take Ativan 1mg before abroad and one month from Kaiser in the U.S. but they gave me refill as generic lorazepam (Qualitest). I felt 50-60% effectiveness compared to Ativan(brand lorazepam). I can't take Watson lorazepam as it does not work for me causing side effects (rapid heart beats, sweating, anxiety, dehydration). Qualitest has less side effect (less dehydrated than Ativan) I did not have physical dependence on Ativan for long time and quit too. But this generic lorazepam is getting less effective over a few months. Also my pharmacy had changed Qualite...

Is Mylan Lorazepam Discontinued?

My pharmacy told me that they can't buy mylan any more and they do not know if it is discontinued or not. Since Qualitest lorazepam was discontinued, Mylan is the only lorazepam that works (less effective than Qualitest) but works with less side effects than others (Watson, leading pharma, actavis: don't work causing serious side effects). Any alternatives, or another generic lorazepam that works ok? Lorazepam is the only sedative that works for me for anxiety and stiffness due to side effects of levothyroxine. Other medicine such as clonazepam, alprazolam (xanax), cymbalta, zoloft, lexapro, etc do not work. ## I don't know about lorazepam being discontinued but I was told by two representatives the they are discontinuing clonazepam and I'm devastated. Mylan is the only ...

Lorazepam 2.5mg exists, but not in the USA

I filled a prescription for some 2.5mg Lorazepam from Bulgaria about 4 years ago. They were very good. I also got 6mg Bromazepams. Also, a benzo that's not given out in the USA. The closest thing you will get to Bromazepam is Halcyon.

Mylan 2.5mg Lorazepam? Real or fake?

It’s a long story but traveling and needed medication for my anxiety. Have been off Lorazepam for a while but ended up in a situation where I needed to go local for some medication. Ended up with Mylan 2.5mg tabs. They came in a blister pack and seem labeled correctly. Also came in the original Mylan box. All seems okay but being from the US I’m accustomed to seeing the imprint. These have none. Only a score down the middle and white. Needless to say, I’m holding off on taking them. Not looking for a “fix”, looking for medication. First, I didn’t know and can’t find much documentation on Mylab creating a 2.5mg version. At least the website doesn’t mention it. The pack it came in lists the exp date to be in 2020 so it’s not old. The s...

Effects Of Larpose

i'm taking larpose 1mg for the past 15 years. i;m 80 years old lady and weight is 41 kg. i want to stop taking the medicine and i would like to know the side effects of larpose. and withdrawl can i stop gradually or how do i go about ie. also there is dryness in the mouth, throat and nostril when i get up in the morning since a few months, could it be because of side effects of this medicine ## Please stop this gradually. Stay away from this. This causes sleep apnea, respiratory depression, irritability, muscle weakness due to which you may fall and have a fracture. Start reducing the dosage immediately. ## What is Larpose prescribed for? ## Larpose is a brand of Lorazepam manufactured by Cipla in India. Lorazepam is an anticonvulsant used to relieve the symptoms of anxiety and seiz...

633

I have a small round white pill. It has 633 on one side and on the other has a symbol that looks like a ribbon. Any help would be appreciated. ## small white pill 633 one side - looks like moon other side ## 633 on one side - round white - with the "moon" as you call it is more like "half moon" or a letter C; I think the drug is lorazepam - what do you think? ## That moon marking is the logo for Actavis Inc. and they list this tablet as containing 10mgs of Lovastatin, which is most commonly used to help lower cholesterol. NDC: 45963-0633 The R that looked like a ribbon was their prior logo for this same medication. Inactive ingredients may include: Lactose Monohydrate Magnesium Stearate Cellulose, Microcrystalline Starch, Corn Butylated Hydroxyanisole Is there anything e...

Is Actavis Lorazepam the same as Watson?

Most pharmacies sell watson or actavis lorazepam in my area (LA), but I had serious side effects with no calming effect from watson so I returned to Rite Aid after taking one tablet. I heard that watson was taken over by actavis and they are manufactured at the same factory and same medicine. I used to take qualitest and that worked great but was discontinued. I also tried Mylan which was ok but they are discontinuing as they said they don't have inventory and don't know when the last batch is released. Leading pharma does not work for me, causing serious side effects. I visited or called about 30 pharmacies in my area but they only deal with leading pharma, watson and actavis. So I have no option but to try actavis, but if it's the same as watson, I think I can't take i...

Lorazepam with same fillers as MYLAN

I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...

Is Bencoprim the same as Lorazepam?

Is bencoprim the same as lorazepam? My Tucson doctor gave me a prescription for lorazepam 16 yrs ago and i went to Nogales, Mexico and asked for lorazepam and they sold me bencoprim and said it was the same as lorazepam. Is this correct? ## Hello, Jayne! How are you? Actually no, Bencoprim is listed as containing Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant, better know under the U.S. trade name Flexeril. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have been taking Ativan (1mg) for 15 yrs. 2 months ago, I had a delivery problem with Express-Scripts. Went to my Dr. to get a perscription for Ativan that I could fill locally. The Dr. showed me a form from Express Scripts showing how muc...

Actavis Pharmaceuticals Lorazepam

I have been taking Lorazepam for over a year to help me sleep and as needed. I take .5 mg, have had no problems at all, now Target tells me they now get it from somewhere else. I always stay with the same company if it works. Always have problems when they change.. Can you tell me who still carries this from Actavis and where to get it filled? Thank you!! ## Hello Mary, Unfortunately, no. Nobody will be able to accurately tell you which pharmacy in your area carries which brand of a product, in fact most pharmacies won't tell you if they carry the product unless you are there in person with a signed prescription for that medication. The reason for this is that the pharmacies protect themselves from theft by not providing people with information on what drug they carry and which bran...

LOOKING FOR LORAZEPAM THAT IS EXACTLY LIKE WATSON BRAND

I've been taking Watson Pharmaceuticals Lorazepam and it worked great. Apparently, Actavis just took over Watson, and Watson no longer exists. I'm looking for another bran of Lorazepam that has the same Active & Inactive ingredients as the Watson brand, however, I can't locate the info on line and my pharmacy won't help me. Does anyone know what other manufacturer carries Lorazepam that is exactly the same as the Watson brand. Actavis and Sandoz manufacturer's Lorazepam does not work. ## Well, you're pharmacy won't help, because if the active ingredient is the same, they are considered the same. The inactive ingredients are called such for a reason, they don't affect the drug. How long have you been taking your current dose? It is possible that you...

Tiny sky blue pill with gp 19

Hi. I found this sky blue pill split in half with GP on one half and 19 on the other half. It's oval shaped but kind of rectangle shaped with rounded edges. It's a very small pill? PLEASE, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT IS ASAP. THANKS. ## Yes, I found one too. Sounds like the same pill. I need to know what it is. ## Did you find out what it was? I've found one today. It sounds identical. ## It's a 1mg lorazepam from genus pharmaceuticals. ## Hi, I've been on genus pharmaceutical's 1 mg Lorazepam for nearly two years now. I don't drink, smoke or anything and am a pretty much a single mother with an incredibly hectic home life. My two children are 8 & 10, nearly 9 & 11. My son can be very challenging and our life can be difficult, for what I'm seeking help...

Watson vs. Mylan generic lorazepam side effects.

Been on Sandoz mfr. lorazepam for 10 years; no problems; no need to increase dose. Sandoz stopped mfr. Now, can only get these generic's & Actavis. Having lots of troubles getting results; either nothing or zonked. Anyone else w/any experience which mfr. is closer to Sandoz (since FDA approves up to 2% differences in generics). Thank you. ## Hello! I have been getting 90 days supplies of Lorazepam 1MG from SANDOZ....my new Rx just came and it's from ACTAVIS.....it does not work or relieve any anxiety at all....I might as well take a placebo...it does not work at all....I took 2 pills...nothing and then 1hour later took 2 more....before with the other brand...I would probably be asleep....but,nothing with this new brand.....I do not know what to do about this....... ## I have...

round white pill scored on one side

Found white round pill with EP on one side and scored. Blank on the other side. No numbers. Anyone know what it is? ## Hi Kelly, Is the score line on the same side as "EP"? I only ask because there are at least a handful of other white round pills marked with "EP" sitting over top of a score line on one side and blank on the back. They're reportedly made by a company called Excellium Pharmaceuticals (hence the EP). However, the only discrepancy I've noticed is that these other pills also have a (3 digit) set of numbers underneath the score line. I just wonder if your numbers could've been rubbed off? - depending on its condition. Does anyone else here recognize this tablet? ## Lorazepam-used to treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, multi pers...

Lorazepam treatment discontinuation

Why would doctors stop writting a prescription of Lorazepam, which has worked for over 20 years for a patient who has panic disorder, because the patient is now too old at 70? Any input is appreciated. ## Hello Yusho, This NIH Article briefly explains why your doctors are choosing to stop your prescription. In a nut shell the medication works fine but studies have shown that older patients are more likely to experience adverse side effects. Some of these side effects can be life threatening which is why the NIH and FDA strongly suggest ceasing prescribing the medication as the patient ages. I hope this helps. Please reply if you have any further questions or have additional information to add.

Mp 61 Rounded Oblong Pink Tablets Single Score

MP61 pink tablets, oblong, rounded: LORAZEPAM 2.5mg made by Metwest Pharmaceuticals. Possibly the best lorazepam I ever had! ## It's a strange one isn't it, as the same company makes the 1mg Lorazepam too and they are probably one of the worst I've experimented with. I'd buy the 2.5 mg in a heartbeat but avoid the white round 1mg ones. ## I had MP/61 pink 2.5 mg pills and I took my doses in a 5 hr period. I think they are Lorazepam. They are not really that euphoric, but 2 days later, and everything while I was on the medication is forgotten.

Excellium, Cardinal Health or Mylan Lorazepam?

I used to take Qualitest lorazepam but it was discontinued. I had to switch but Watson / Actavis does not work and causes side effects. Most pharmacies carry Actavis. My local Walgreens carries Sandoz which is similar to Watson. Another local pharmacy carries Mylan or cardinal health. Anyone tried Cardinal health or Mylan lorazepam and worked ok? Where can I get excellium lorazepam 1mg? I called 30 pharmacies in my area but none deal with it. I heard excellium lorazepam works well. ## The main issue here is that this is a potentially addictive substance, according to FDA warnings. Thus, most pharmacies are not going to give you an honest answer, because they don't know if someone calling is a legitimate patient with a need, or a possible drug seeker that might want to rob them. Qualitest Lorazepam Is Discontinued - Any Alternatives?

I was advised by Par Pharmaceutical that Qualitest lorazepam 1mg had been discontinued and no longer distributed. Is this true? Qualitest lorazepam was the only sedative that works for me. Watson, Actavis causes serious side effects (panic attack, more anxiety, dehydration, asthma, heart pounding, can't sleep) with no effectiveness. (no calming effect) Ativan works but it's too expensive ($2500 for 30 ea lorazepam 1mg) and my insurance does not cover it and most pharmacies do not deal with brand Ativan and most insurance do not want to pay it. I heard leading pharma is not effective and some other manufacturers as they cut down 20% of inactive ingredients. I called 30 pharmacies and most of them carry Actavis or leading while Walgreens carry Sandoz and CVS carry Greenland and on...
