Have you tried Leading Pharma or Teva Lorazepam?

Some people say it is less effective or has no effect due to less active ingredients, causing some side effects or reaction to someone. Some recommend Teva but some say it is not good. However, I can't get Teva as there is no pharmacy to dispense it in my area. I tried other brands after Qualitest was discontinued, but did not find any that work. ## It really varies from person to person, so there is not specific best pill that you can be told about. The FDA warns that Lorazepam carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, nausea, mood changes, and irritability. What are the markings on the tablets you are currently taking? Can you please post back and clarify, so I can research more details for you? ## Leading Pharma lorazepam is...

Is Actavis Lorazepam the same as Watson?

Most pharmacies sell watson or actavis lorazepam in my area (LA), but I had serious side effects with no calming effect from watson so I returned to Rite Aid after taking one tablet. I heard that watson was taken over by actavis and they are manufactured at the same factory and same medicine. I used to take qualitest and that worked great but was discontinued. I also tried Mylan which was ok but they are discontinuing as they said they don't have inventory and don't know when the last batch is released. Leading pharma does not work for me, causing serious side effects. I visited or called about 30 pharmacies in my area but they only deal with leading pharma, watson and actavis. So I have no option but to try actavis, but if it's the same as watson, I think I can't take i...

Is Mylan Lorazepam Discontinued?

My pharmacy told me that they can't buy mylan any more and they do not know if it is discontinued or not. Since Qualitest lorazepam was discontinued, Mylan is the only lorazepam that works (less effective than Qualitest) but works with less side effects than others (Watson, leading pharma, actavis: don't work causing serious side effects). Any alternatives, or another generic lorazepam that works ok? Lorazepam is the only sedative that works for me for anxiety and stiffness due to side effects of levothyroxine. Other medicine such as clonazepam, alprazolam (xanax), cymbalta, zoloft, lexapro, etc do not work. ## I don't know about lorazepam being discontinued but I was told by two representatives the they are discontinuing clonazepam and I'm devastated. Mylan is the only ...

lorazepam term of effectiveness

Are the 18 month old 1 mg pills of lorazepam fully effective? Or likely to be? Thank you. ## Hello, Steph! How are you? Under normal storage conditions, they can only be guaranteed to be effective for one year from the date they were dispensed to you. After that, they being to lose effectiveness, though there have been no studies done to determine the percentages of efficacy lost after that. Once they are expired, it is best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks. what are the shapes and colors of the different strengths?

White pill with EP 906

Round white tablets EP over 906 on one side, and the other side is the number 2. It is labeled as Lorazepam. ## Yes, it appears that you have Lorazepam 2 mg (NDC 0904-6009). Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Lactose - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Polacrilin Potassium - Magnesium Stearate Lorazepam has relatively potent anxiolytic effects and its best known indication is the short-term management of severe chronic anxiety. Ref: DailyMed ## Whats the strengh difference alprazolam 0.25. And lorazapam 2 mg.? Is one more strong or are they the same? ## I have a tablet with ep 906 on one side and 2 on the other. It is supposed to be Alprazolam but has a sweet taste to it. Can someone confirm? I've never had one taste like that.

Qualitest Lorazepam Is Discontinued - Any Alternatives?

I was advised by Par Pharmaceutical that Qualitest lorazepam 1mg had been discontinued and no longer distributed. Is this true? Qualitest lorazepam was the only sedative that works for me. Watson, Actavis causes serious side effects (panic attack, more anxiety, dehydration, asthma, heart pounding, can't sleep) with no effectiveness. (no calming effect) Ativan works but it's too expensive ($2500 for 30 ea lorazepam 1mg) and my insurance does not cover it and most pharmacies do not deal with brand Ativan and most insurance do not want to pay it. I heard leading pharma is not effective and some other manufacturers as they cut down 20% of inactive ingredients. I called 30 pharmacies and most of them carry Actavis or leading while Walgreens carry Sandoz and CVS carry Greenland and on...

Aurobindo Lorazepam

Has anyone taken this generic brand of Lorazepam made by Aurobindo pharm? How does it work compared to other brands? ## I refuse all meds made by Aurobindo. I say I am allergic. Idk what they put in the fake adderall they sell but it makes me feel awful so I will go without before I will accept them. ## Following. The only brands I ever tried were leading and watson. Would love to see what other brands are out there ## Idk about the benzos - Mallinckrodt adderall is really weak, but at least it doesn't give me slamming headaches and nausea. I have to take twice as much though. And I am a lightweight. I used to like Watson meds but I never see them anymore. ## I also refuse all drugs manufactured by Aurobindo. ## I usually find them at CVS and Rite Aid. Anywhere else I should avoid? ...

leading pharma 2mg lorazepam

I am really confused with everyone posts about the leading brand lorazepam I take 2mg and have been on lorazepam generic form for 25 years I've taken every single kind from Watson to now leading it looks like the sugary taste is everyone's problem here such bad reviews about this company is obserred they are no different than any other generic lorazepam they work the same the only difference in this pill is that it's inactive ingredient contains potassium and that's why the pill taste like sugar but my point here is that if are a longtime user of benzos you people would have all ended up withdrawing and possibly seizing if the pill really didn't contain the main ingredient and the er doctor would have been the first to report this pharmacy if your illness had anythin...

Are pills still good after getting wet?

Just a simple question, if a tablet is not labled to be dissolved in water, can you disolve it in water anyway to make it easier to swallow? small white round pill ZS157

These ZS157 pills were in my bottle of lorazepam. The size is nearly the same as the lorazepam, but not quite. That's how I noticed. I also discovered a lot of ZS157s. I have not yet identified these. I also take pindolol, which are also small round and white pills, confusion reigns. I finally dumped out the lorazepam bottle and looked at every pill under my sewing magnifying glass. Can you tell me what the ZS157s are? These pills were mixed in with lorazepam, and heaven only knows how many of them I've taken in good faith. What should I do about this? ## Is the marking SZ 197? Lorazepam with same fillers as MYLAN

I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...

Inactive ingredients of Qualitest or Leading Pharma Lorazepam

What are the inactive ingredients of Qualitest lorazepam or Leading Pharma lorazepam? Does anybody know? It seems that its formula might have been changed because I feel 1mg is less effect than before or does not work. I used to take Ativan 1mg before abroad and one month from Kaiser in the U.S. but they gave me refill as generic lorazepam (Qualitest). I felt 50-60% effectiveness compared to Ativan(brand lorazepam). I can't take Watson lorazepam as it does not work for me causing side effects (rapid heart beats, sweating, anxiety, dehydration). Qualitest has less side effect (less dehydrated than Ativan) I did not have physical dependence on Ativan for long time and quit too. But this generic lorazepam is getting less effective over a few months. Also my pharmacy had changed Qualite...

Lorazepam taper off

I’ve been on 1-1 1/2 mg of Lorazepam for about a year and a half. I'm tying to taper off and looking for a safe reduction process. A couple of weeks ago I had tapered down to 1/2 -3/4 mg and ran out. I couldn’t even get out of bed. Heart racing, stomach knotted a total mess. My Dr office told me it was withdrawal and just wanted me to ride it out but eventually gave me a 2 week refill. My neighbor had to pick it up for me as I was basically incapable. This didn’t feel safe for me so I called a couple of RN friends with experience in the field and a friend who is a retired addiction counselor of 30 years. They all told that what my Dr initially said was very bad advice and dangerous and that I would need a 6-8 taper schedule of 25% every 2 weeks. I’m sure I...

Lorazepam - Need to find a brand like Watson (not Actavis)

Help!!!! I've loved the Watson brand of Lorazepam. I just take a small amount and it eases my anxiety. HOWEVER, Actavis bought Watson and (trust me) the product is no longer effective. OMG. So frustrating. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a Lorazepam comparable to Watson's? ## My lorazepam have Watson 541 stamped on them. ## I am curious as well, it seems like generic medications no longer hold standards. But if I could help any whatsoever I’d google independent pharmacy’s locally and call and simply tell them your new generic isn...

How are you? Yes, it has been known to cause such symptoms, as side effects, in some people that take it, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache.
