Lorazepam /2 mg / round white / 2 / EP 906. it tastes like sugar and doesn't seem to be helping ## i have been taking lorazepam for several years and got a new script from a different pharmacy and I haven't felt the same since i have started to remember my dreams and having panic attacks since i started this new script also they almost dissolve instantly and taste sweet i feel like i am not on any meds now so i don't know if the pills are real. any help would be grateful thank you ## I've been taking Lorazepam for about a year, just recently I started just putting it under my tongue it melts quickly and it is sweet but it's always been like that since I've taking them and it does what it's supposed to for me. ## The taste is actually irrelevant and doesn'...
My pharmacy told me that they can't buy mylan any more and they do not know if it is discontinued or not. Since Qualitest lorazepam was discontinued, Mylan is the only lorazepam that works (less effective than Qualitest) but works with less side effects than others (Watson, leading pharma, actavis: don't work causing serious side effects). Any alternatives, or another generic lorazepam that works ok? Lorazepam is the only sedative that works for me for anxiety and stiffness due to side effects of levothyroxine. Other medicine such as clonazepam, alprazolam (xanax), cymbalta, zoloft, lexapro, etc do not work. ## I don't know about lorazepam being discontinued but I was told by two representatives the they are discontinuing clonazepam and I'm devastated. Mylan is the only ...

Hi I've been taking lorazepam for anxiety and major depression for about 2 months. Now my doctor prescribed me escitalopram 10 mg in the morning and 10mg ubanol at night but I still can't sleep. Can I go back to Lorazepam? ## How long have you been taking the new medications? If you abruptly switched from the Lorazepam to the Escitalopram, and Urbanol, you may be dealing with some withdrawal effects, and it could take some time for them to taper off, so you get the full effect of the new medications. Escitalopram may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes, according to FDA reports. Ref: Medline Plus Escitalopram Urbanol contains the active ingredient Clobazam, The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and m...
I switched pharmacies and was given Sandoz Ativan, I have been having a terrible time- it is like it is creating more anxiety. I switched back to my old pharmacy and am counting the days until I get back to the Milan manufacturer. It has been a horrid 2 weeks. Melatonin helps a great deal with sleep. I started off with Milan and had been on that for 2 years with no problems, I wonder if your body resists another generic brand and you have to adjust. All I know if Milan is what I need and I always get the same manufacturers for all my meds since 12 years ago from CVS- they are very consistent. Be very careful if you switch pharmacies, I learned that all generics are NOT THE SAME. ## Just found this out: Purepac/Activis was bought out by Watson in 2012. In October the FTC made Watson/Pure...
Hi. Since generic Lorazepams are basically the same, there still can be bad side effects switching to another, if one is discontinued. Some generics have different binders and fillers and maybe not enough, or too much of one component in which makes you sick. Does anybody know which type of generic Lorazepam is the closest to the Andoz GG92?...Thank You...PK ## Unfortunately, there is no way to say which one might be closest, since we are all different, and it is a very individualized experience. It’s a long story but traveling and needed medication for my anxiety. Have been off Lorazepam for a while but ended up in a situation where I needed to go local for some medication. Ended up with Mylan 2.5mg tabs. They came in a blister pack and seem labeled correctly. Also came in the original Mylan box. All seems okay but being from the US I’m accustomed to seeing the imprint. These have none. Only a score down the middle and white. Needless to say, I’m holding off on taking them. Not looking for a “fix”, looking for medication. First, I didn’t know and can’t find much documentation on Mylab creating a 2.5mg version. At least the website doesn’t mention it. The pack it came in lists the exp date to be in 2020 so it’s not old. The s...
Found white round pill with EP on one side and scored. Blank on the other side. No numbers. Anyone know what it is? ## Hi Kelly, Is the score line on the same side as "EP"? I only ask because there are at least a handful of other white round pills marked with "EP" sitting over top of a score line on one side and blank on the back. They're reportedly made by a company called Excellium Pharmaceuticals (hence the EP). However, the only discrepancy I've noticed is that these other pills also have a (3 digit) set of numbers underneath the score line. I just wonder if your numbers could've been rubbed off? - depending on its condition. Does anyone else here recognize this tablet? ## Lorazepam-used to treat anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, multi pers...

Are the 18 month old 1 mg pills of lorazepam fully effective? Or likely to be? Thank you. ## Hello, Steph! How are you? Under normal storage conditions, they can only be guaranteed to be effective for one year from the date they were dispensed to you. After that, they being to lose effectiveness, though there have been no studies done to determine the percentages of efficacy lost after that. Once they are expired, it is best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks. what are the shapes and colors of the different strengths?

Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Lactose - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Polacrilin Potassium - Magnesium Stearate Lorazepam has relatively potent anxiolytic effects and its best known indication is the short-term management of severe chronic anxiety. Ref: DailyMed ## Whats the strengh difference alprazolam 0.25. And lorazapam 2 mg.? Is one more strong or are they the same? ## I have a tablet with ep 906 on one side and 2 on the other. It is supposed to be Alprazolam but has a sweet taste to it. Can someone confirm? I've never had one taste like that.
I was advised by Par Pharmaceutical that Qualitest lorazepam 1mg had been discontinued and no longer distributed. Is this true? Qualitest lorazepam was the only sedative that works for me. Watson, Actavis causes serious side effects (panic attack, more anxiety, dehydration, asthma, heart pounding, can't sleep) with no effectiveness. (no calming effect) Ativan works but it's too expensive ($2500 for 30 ea lorazepam 1mg) and my insurance does not cover it and most pharmacies do not deal with brand Ativan and most insurance do not want to pay it. I heard leading pharma is not effective and some other manufacturers as they cut down 20% of inactive ingredients. I called 30 pharmacies and most of them carry Actavis or leading while Walgreens carry Sandoz and CVS carry Greenland and on...
Small, white, oblong (rather than oval) pill scored and imprinted with I N or N I on one side - I am in Canada, in case that makes a difference in the appearance. ## white, oblong (rectangular with edges rounded) pill, scored in the middle, and imprinted on one side with and I and N (or N and I) - Canadian - trying to identify ## Oh, here's the post. This gentleman reached me by email. None of my searches have turned up anything for this. This does seem to be Canadian in origin, but I have yet to make a positive I.D. I even reached out to a pharmacist in Canada but they were stumped as well. Does anyone else know? ## the imprint might be a lower case L, i.e. l or an upper case i, i.e. I ## I think this may be lorazepam.I have similar pills and in Canada ## Mbnc can you post back wit...
Just a simple question, if a tablet is not labled to be dissolved in water, can you disolve it in water anyway to make it easier to swallow? It's not a capsule baring in mind so it's easy dissolvable. ## Hello, Vama! How are you? It would be better to just cut the tablet into smaller pieces to make it easier to swallow. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I accidentally washed my white round 1mg lorazepam's in the washer they were in a zip lock bag apparently a cheap one lol the medicine is all stuck together can I dry them out? An Will they still be safe to take I only take little pieces when I take them anyway so can I still dry them an take little pieces? ## I got my lyricas wet in water they swelled up..they are red gell based are they still good they did not come...
These ZS157 pills were in my bottle of lorazepam. The size is nearly the same as the lorazepam, but not quite. That's how I noticed. I also discovered a lot of ZS157s. I have not yet identified these. I also take pindolol, which are also small round and white pills, confusion reigns. I finally dumped out the lorazepam bottle and looked at every pill under my sewing magnifying glass. Can you tell me what the ZS157s are? These pills were mixed in with lorazepam, and heaven only knows how many of them I've taken in good faith. What should I do about this? ## Is the marking SZ 197? If so, they are also Lorazepam, they are manufactured by Sandoz Inc., and they list them as being 0.5mg tablets. NDC: 00781-5371 Occasionally, if they run short of the product from one manufacturer, a pha...
I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...
I’ve been on 1-1 1/2 mg of Lorazepam for about a year and a half. I'm tying to taper off and looking for a safe reduction process. A couple of weeks ago I had tapered down to 1/2 -3/4 mg and ran out. I couldn’t even get out of bed. Heart racing, stomach knotted a total mess. My Dr office told me it was withdrawal and just wanted me to ride it out but eventually gave me a 2 week refill. My neighbor had to pick it up for me as I was basically incapable. This didn’t feel safe for me so I called a couple of RN friends with experience in the field and a friend who is a retired addiction counselor of 30 years. They all told that what my Dr initially said was very bad advice and dangerous and that I would need a 6-8 taper schedule of 25% every 2 weeks. I’m sure I...
