I am a 19 yr old male, and am prescribed 12.5mg meclizine, three times a day, because i have vertigo. However, taking this makes me very tired. I have been prescribed Meclizine for dizziness, and it is working fine on that part. I was wondering if there was any weight gain side effects from this medication. I am on others that to have that as a side effect, but I just think that I am gaining too much weight too fast, and was wondering if this was also a weight gainer. Thank you so much for your input. ## Meclizine is an antihistamine, that can also be used to treat anxiety, dizziness, nausea, and as a mild sedative.
