Plain Black Pill

I found an white oblong shaped pill with absolutely no markings on either side and it tastes sort of sour or bitter when you lick it. found it in my daughters room ? anyone know? ## I can't imagine it is a pharmacy/Dr prescribed medication. All medicines, except vitamins, need a marking to be identified. Unless she got them from overseas pharmacies (black market) sent to her. I have had some xanax come with no markings.

I am going through meds to discard since my son passed away I cannot id this one pill as it was not in any pill bottle but wrapped in a plastic baggie. It is more creme in color, small and round with a black L on the other side. ## I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I received vicodin es from over seas...it is a plain black capsule with no markings. Is it really vicodin, or a fake? ## Since there are no markings on the pill, it's going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that could meet that description. ## The black oblong capsules are in a blister pack marked Vicodin ES....Have you ever heard of this and is it the real thing? ## ...

this capsule has no identifying marks ## Hello, Duby! How are you? If there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since they are required by law to have markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy, but they use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

The pill is round yellow on one side with 350 on it, and the back side of the pill is plain white. ## Hi Jennifer, Based on your description, I came across an image of a small round pill (half yellow/half white) with the number 350 in black print on one side and blank on the other. However two different photographs (courtesy of CVS) depict the "350" potentially being on either-colored half and one side remaining blank, which is probably common in the manufacturing process I'd imagine. At any rate, this particular pill is reported to be a Tylenol Arthritis Pain Relief ER tab, containing Acetaminophen. IP 118 ## This pill contains 750mgs of Acetaminophen and 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone. It is a generic for Vicodin ES. My ex gave me a capsule that was green and black with powder in it. The capsule looked tampered with so I didn't take it but I'm wondering if it was adderall or not? ## Are there any markings on it? If not, then it is not a legal U.S. manufactured medication. The FDA requires them to all have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. If there are no markings on it, it is most likely an over the counter product, although it might be something specially ordered by a doctor that was made by a compounding pharmacy, or it could be a foreign medication. Hi all, I have just been in some treatment in Serbia and I received some prescription pills but were not told about the content of all of them. I really hope you can help me even though I know it's difficult with foreign pills. 1) Plain black capsules with no inscription 2) Round white pills with the inscription T 100. hi i was cleaning out my ex's draws and i found a light blue capsule iped open n empty with a very fine whire powder residue also a speed/crack baggie ripped right down the sides and a maccas straw cut into a 3cm legnth at an angle at one end.. they are not his but an ex friend we allowed to stay with us for a while who used the draws, i also found a lot of viagra bottles and two plain black no marking capsules in a sandwich bag. im guessing ther are illict (both blue and the black capsules) ive flushed the capsules but was curiouse as to what the sum was takin in my house around my children

The pink spots is/are the opiates. The pink is the refined opium (plain & simple truth)!! Raw opium sap or better known as latex is red and turns to a very dark red to black in the presence of oxygen... ## I'm sorry, but that isn't true. They are just a coloring agent that the manufacturer chose to use to distinguish their pills from the others on the market. The FDA classifies this mediation as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There is no actual opium in this medication, refined or otherwise. Is there anything I can help with?
