Is there anyone who is suffering with Lupus and if so does oxycodone help? ## It was prescribed for my former sister-in-law to help deal with the aches and pains that she experienced from Lupus and she was quite happy with it. However, it can vary from person to person and she passed away years ago. Can anyone that's currently taking it and diagnosed with Lupus chime in? The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've had SLE Lupus for going on 20 years. I have Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Second degree heart block, PE, Dvt's, Chronic Hypertension. I take a long list of meds Oxycodone 30mg for my pain releif. I recently went to the ER because I couldn't walk & I was diagnosed with Gout so the ER Dr. Prescribed me 8 norcos to take in between. I picked up my Oxycodone meds on the 14th & the 8 Norco on the 28th... It's time for my regular script but my pharmacists is saying it won't go through. My husband's medication ran out and he takes oxycodone 20mg. He went to see his pain management doctor and she ignored what he was explaining to her. Now he has no meds and is in excruciating pain. He wants to take tramadol but I am afraid it might harm him. What do I do? This is a nightmare!! I suffer from multiple auto-immune diseases such as Connective Tissue Disease, R.A, Livedo, Raynauds, & traces of Lupus. All of which cause EXCRUTIATING PAIN!! On top of all of those, my body attacks itself 24/7!! Over the years the doctors have tried a ridiculous amount of different pain medications. I live in Phoenix AZ. I have been on oxycodone 30mg #120 for the last 5yrs. I have double curve scoliosis,arthritis all in my back, 1 herniated disc and DDD, lupus and graves disease. 2 months ago my doctor told me he could not prescribe the 30mg's because the government said they are being diverted and sold and the money is being used to fund the terrorists. My son's wife is claiming her doctor told her she has lupus. I say claimed because she is a compulsive liar and we have not seen any of lupus or that he has even said this. She has a prescription a doctor is giving her of 150 Oxycodone a month that she uses up in 2 weeks. This is a huge concern of mine because the children are being neglected while my son is at work. I'm 25y/o suffering from lupus and herniated disks up my neck. I can't live with this pain anymore. Oxycodone seems to be the only thing that helps, but I don't know of a doctor that prescribes it. Anyone know of any docs or how I could get in to see a doc? I just don't want to be in pain anymore! I live in the Pinellas County area of FL, so counties near here would be best. Thank you for your support and help! ## Even if you do find a doctor that will prescribe it, getting it filled anywhere in Florida right now is liable to be very difficult. There have been many posts about the issue, many pharmacies are either no longer carrying it, or are refusing to fill prescriptions for it. What other medications have you tried?

I am disabled with lupus and PAC. I was taking oxycodone 10-325 one 4x a day with excellent results. My pain mgmt dr changed me to oxymorphone er 10mg with oxycodone one 2x day for breakthrough. I am having constant pain and have been on oxymorphone for two days. How long until it takes effect? I'm miserable. ## What is the current dose you are taking of the Oxycodone? You may not be on an equivalent dosage, there is also a chance that the Opana just doesn't work for you. As most of you here, I've been taking MS Contin 60 mg and Oxycodone IR for break through among other meds of course. I have had RSD/CRPS for 26 years and Lupus for about 5 years. I live in PA now and never really considered the ramifications of moving to a state with such pain med issues. Due to job loss I've had to reschedule my meds taking fewer of them and being in worse pain. I don't want to find just a prescribing doctor. I want to continue my treatment. I have lupus with chronic. Arthritis. I'm always in severe pain I get da yellow perks but it don't seem to help anymore wat r da blue perks n damgs ## I'm sorry, but I can't really tell you anything from just the colors, because the color doesn't mean anything and doesn't help identify the tablets. Regardless, Percocet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone, though the amount of Acetaminophen can vary. Please advice or help!!! My wife just was approved for medicaid. she has a primary doc, gynecologist and is seeing a rheumatologist soon. No problems except her primary doesnt think she should be seeing pain management, even with several disc problems, lupus, fibermyalgia and other problems. She has amerigroup. hewr pain doc is licensed and shes been going to the same one for 5yrs. her current pain doc doesnt accept medicaid or insurance. Hi! Quick run down. I have been an addict for 15yrs. I was taking 25/10mg lortabs. I know that's not the worst there is at all but an addicts an addict, unfortunately.
