Found a small oval, thick, not tapered, white with blue flecks. RUSS on one side, 903 stamped on the other. What is this pill? ## small oval pill blue flecks Russ on one side and 903 on other ## Hello, I was unable to locate a pill that had the letters RUSS imprinted on them but I was able to find a strikingly similar Lortab pill that is white with blue/green speckles and a UCB imprint on one side and 903 imprint on the other side. I'm not sure if the RUSS imprint is an old manufacturer that was bought out by UCB pharma. Here is a picture of the UCB pill in case that's the one that you have and somehow the imprint got ruined to the point that it shows russ. I apologize for not being able to find that pill but sometimes it's difficult to find things that are no longer manufa...

capsule orange orange capsules with no markings

orange capsules with no markings ## My back was hurting so I was giving an Orange capsule that has no markings I was told it was a 40 mg lortab is there such a thing and how can I find out what it is?? ## Hello, In the United States the FDA requires that all prescription medication have an imprint as to be identifiable for medical professionals in the event of emergencies as well as to ensure that customers are able to identify their medication. Because your medication does not have an imprint I believe that you have found something that falls under the category of something like a vitamin/supplement/dietary pill. Capsules are especially hard to identify because any person can purchase empty capsules so that they can make their own vitamins or supplements on the go. With this in mind I ...

symptoms of overdose

Please tell me what the symptoms would be for an 80 year old woman to take an overdose of Loratab? This woman was throwing up and then her electrolytes were way out of balance. She had dementia-like symptoms for a month. Short of death, what are the symptoms of an overdose of Loratab and can an overdose of a monitored dose by a physician cause an elderly person to die? ## The FDA does list nausea as a typical side effect of Lortab, and if she was vomiting a lot, that would cause her electrolytes to be off, but that does not necessarily signify an overdose. The FDA lists overdose symptoms as including issues such as severe drowsiness, sedation, severe vomiting, lowered heart rate, and possible death. How is she doing, now? What dose is she taking?

Chronic Back Pain with no help

What are the people with chronic pain going to do now that Drs will not prescribe pain meds they need and are in legitimate pain? Drs think you are a drug seeker if you ask for lortab even thought you really are in pain. What is going to happen to these people. Pain can cause other things such as high blood pressure and depression yet most Drs will not treat their pain because of all the drug seekers. What can be done about this. There has tobe a solution. The Physician's Oath says"First do no harm" But when they let someone in real pain walk out the door with no pain meds they in my mind are doing harm. There has to be a way to work this out so that people in real pain will be treated so they can have a quality of life. When you are in real pain you have no quality of life....

It is manufactured by the company Mallinckrodt. I was getting this at Wal-Mart pharmacy. Maybe its just pscychological but it seemed to me the Watson generic worked much better. Watson or hydrocodone?

Can I go in and ask that they not make me pay for something I can't stand and doesn't work for me, and that I would like to have Lortab/Watson brand? ## There have been many complaints about the products manufactured by Mallinckrodt. Yes, you can ask them ahead of time if they have a different one in stock to fill your prescription, though it may be more expensive. If they don't, or won't order it in for you, you could always see about transferring your prescription elsewhere. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I actully did what you said and had it transferred to Walgreens and they happily gave me what I wanted...

Watson Lortab Formula Change

Does anyone know what Watson did or why they changed their formula for Lortab 10/500? It used to be blue and when I picked up my refill today they are now white. I still have a few days of my blue left but I swapped a few so I can try the white. I'm waiting for it to start working and I took it over 2 hours ago. My rx is 1-2 every 3 hours not to exceed 7 in a day. (my pm dr wants me on a stronger med but anything above hydrocodone makes me euphoric and I can't function) The blue color lortab starts to work within 15 mins. I took my first white color lortab 2 hours ago, waited an hour and took the 2nd and nothing. I will wait 30 mins longer and switch back to the blue until I run out. This sucks.
