Lortab contains Acetaminophen with Hydrocodone, the latter of which is an opiate, so it may pass to the baby through your breast milk, and it could cause drowsiness, and lethargy in the infant. However, not all mothers observed had it detected in their breast milk, and moderate use according to prescription is considered safe, as long as a doctor approves, and is monitoring the mother, and infant.

Ultimately, the best thing to do, if you can, would be to avoid taking it, and ask your doctor about taking something that is known to be safe.

Is there anything I can help with?
