Ihave a newscript for levothroxine 50 MCG - things usually say MG ## Hi Linn, I definitely hear you on this one. Prescription drugs can be more confusing than algebra at times. Lol The difference of mcg vs mg is the measurement of each. MCG is the abbreviation of micrograms. MG is the abbreviation of milligram. You would need 1000 micrograms to make up 1 milligram. For your own reference: 50 mcg = 0.050 mg Learn More: Levothyroxine Details I hope this helps! :) ## Thank you. That clears up a lot. You are right, it is as bad as algebra which I also did not excel in. ## What is the difference between b12 5000mcg and b12 1000 mcg. I have been taking b12 1000mcg. And the bottle is empty so is it okay if I take b12 5000mcg ## Can you take too much B-12 ? Iam taking 1000 meg per day and get b...

I am doing a molecular portfolio on Lidocaine for Chemistry, and am trying to determine the polarity and solubility of the drug. Thanks! ## I'm not sure if this can be of help to your chemistry project, but from what I've read, Lidocaine is practically insoluble in water; but very soluble in ethanol (alcohol). Perhaps the following reference can be of assistance if you're in need of exact numerical measurements: lxsrv7.oru.edu/~alang/onsc/solubility/allsolvents.php?solute=lidocaine You can learn more about this drug on the page for Lidocaine Details I hope this info helps in any way!

How many milligrams is 20 meq? ## Hi Julee, According to nih.gov, 1500 mg is equivalent to 20 mEq (when referring to Potassium Chloride ER Tablets). I'm not sure which, if any, other medications are also measured in milliequivalents, so if you could please post back with a specific brand name or generic drug in mind, it may be easier to determine if the above information still applies to you or not. Is anyone else familiar with this type of measurement?

blue, rectangular ## Well, 10ml would be a fluid measurement, not the appropriate measurement for a tablet. That said, you haven't provided enough information for me to identify this and tell you exactly what you have. It is the markings on a tablet that identify it, not the shape and color, they don't actually mean anything. Are there any numbers or letters on the tablet?

I would like to know if anyone knows how many miligrams is 800,00u ## 500mg ## There is really no direct equivalent measurement, since they are both different units of measure. We might be able to come close, though. Paloma did you mean IUs? The FDA lists the typical side effects of potassium as including nausea, and stomach pain, so it should be taken with food, or a small snack.

PURPLE,CAPSULE,40MGS ## Please send me the size of the capsule for nexium 20mg and 40mg. ## I can't find the prescise measurements, however, there is a picture of the 40mgs capsules on this page: Nexium contains the active ingredient Esomeprazole, it is used to treat conditions such as GERD and heartburn. Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, gas and abdominal pain. Did you have any other questions?

what does the ng stand for in 95ng/10mg ? ## In science, chemicals and medicine, when referring to measurements like this, the abbreviation ng stands for nanogram, as explained by the NIH. Thus, what you typed would be 95 nanograms per 10 milligrams. Generally, in such results, that's the amount detected in the amount that was measured. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you Verwon for your reply. You asked if I had any other questions. I tested the other day and I am wondering if this reading is normal for my prescription? I am prescribed 20mg Oxycodone every 12 hours and 10/325 Hydrocodone four times daily. Oxycodone: 91.5 ng/10 mg (lab cutoff is 2 ng/10 mg) Hydrocodone: 104 ng/10 mg (lab cutoff is 2 ng/10 mg)

I started taking kin tablets for the past one month but am seeing no significant reduction in the level of blood pressure measurement. I.E. it was 160/105 when started taking kin tabs. It came down to 139/91 two weeks ago. Today it measured 160/105, 154/102, and 155/101. ## What dosage are you taking and how often do you take them? And when are you checking it? Is it immediately after activity? After you're eating? And how close together in time are you checking it? As reported by the NIH, all of these factors can affect your readings, at any given time. Do you also eat a healthy, low salt and low fat diet? Do you make sure to get plenty of exercise? Are you on any other medications?

hi, anybody knows the diameter of a roxycodone 30 mg? ## No, I'm sorry, but I can't find anything that lists the precise measurement and it would also vary, depending on manufacturer, since this is also available as a generic. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? If so, I will gladly check the information for you to see whether or not it is an Oxycodone tablet. This is a narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more: ## I located a round blue Roxicodone (30 mg) with the imprint 54 199 that has the following size: 6.00 mm diameter. This pill is Manufactured by Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals, Inc. 25.4 mm makes 1 inch so a circle 6 mm diameter means it is 6 millimeters from one side to the other, which in inches ...

I am a hypertensive patient & recently (15 days ago) I started taking Amilo Denk 5 prescribed by a medical doctor in order to minimize the measurement I had previously; which is 140/100 to at least below 140/90. What I am experiencing is that after midnight I am urinating frequently. I didn't see any other side effect at the moment. It may be too early to see. So, do I have to continue taking the medicine or should I visit my doctor? Thank you. ## Frequent urination can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension. You should not stop the medication, without your doctor's approval. How are you doing now? Has there been any change?

On a bottle of Potasiuam seen letters "MEQ" after the number 20 what does MEQ stand for? ## Hi, Andrew! How are you? mEq stands for milliequivalent, it's just another unit of measurement. Is there anything else I can help with? This potassium can be very hard on the stomach, so unless you were instructed otherwise by your doctor or pharmacist, it should be taken with food.

In December I had half my thyroid removed, what now? Besides recovery from the cancer/not cancer game they did while I was playing the wiating game with the dr's.. Measurements is the stage? who thought this s*** up? It wasn't funny, and I would have prefered straight up answers, from liscenced professionals. Multiple biopsy's ..scared the snot out of us.. over a non functioning enlarged thyroid... calling it a tumor.. glad we kept our business to our selfs.. ## I'm very sorry for the scares you had to endure, may doctors seem to be fatalists and assume the worst immediately, which isn't always fair to their patients. what is the exact weight of a single Percocet m523 10/325 ? IN GRAMS THX! ## That's not usually information that's readily available and, if it were, you wouldn't actually be able to get an exact measurement, because there can always be some slight fluctuations to each tablet, due to the manufacturing process. Learn more Percocet details here. If you have some, I really think the best you could do would be to weigh several and figure out the average. Are there any other questions or comments?

My son came home with 3 clear capsules with pink powder in them. No markings. I busted him, and he said he was told it was hydrocodone 200 mil. Have you heard of this? ## Well, it wouldn't be an mil measurement, that's a liquid measurement, not a dry one. It is, however, possible for them to come like this if it was something that a doctor prescribed and was specially prepared by a compounding pharmacy. 200mgs of Hydrocodone, though, is not something normally used. They also usually contain Acetaminophen, with the Hydrocodone. The only way to really see what this is, since there are no markings, would be to have it lab tested somewhere. If it were me, I'd just make sure to properly dispose of them. Under federal guidelines, you should do so by dissolving them in some undesir...

I have some Andrx 560 which I am told is 10 MEG. What's the difference between mg and Meq???? ## It stands for milliquivelents, which means that it contains that same amount as 10 meqs, which is a liquid measurement. Mgs stands for milligrams and is a dry measurement.

If I wanted to take a pill form instead of the liquid, what would 1.5ml convert to in pills? How many mg's would I need to take? ## Without knowing how much is in that 1.5ml, no one would be able to answer your question. The 1.5ml is just a liquid measurement. There should be some other information on it, such as the dosage per 5mls, or something similar, it may be in the form of two numbers like this 5/1.5 or 5/5. Can you please post back with more specifics? Thanks!
