I have degen lum tumbosecralhad iv disc spinal sten.myofascial pain sciatica/si joint neuralgiadegen neck disc arthritis in hip had a post laminrctomy syndrome lumbar lumbago/low back pain and many other things to long to list.My meds are no longer to be found.I have been going to target for 10 yrs and they would hold them for me 3 dys before I go to doc.This month I had to run back to my doc abd have him change to 15 mgs oxycodone 2 scrips for 2 wks at a time.Now their saying there not going to be able to save them and I had to go to a cvs which I did not like to do I have 14 medications I take and fill all at target.Can someone please tell me if this will blow over or are they going to stop making them so I can ask the doc for something different.I cannot drive anymore so my husband h...

A doctor had me on 30 mgs of oxycodone two every three hrs.I have been on this med for more than 14 years and the reason he kept me on this like he did was thast i couldnt afford the long acting.First was it wrong for him to do and if so exactly why and second what are we going to do about the war on doctors and what can a person do to get the help they need.Im not a drug and i am on per disability for real health problems but its a forest trying to get help nopw days,any suggetions. ## It isn't wrong for a doctor to try to help with your pain to the best of his ability and in a manner that you agree with. been living in Florida and seeing a excellent pain dr.. Unfortunately I am moving to Baltimore Md. I am 64 years old and on Social Security Disability, been taking 70 mgs of methadone daily and 5 to 6 30 mg oxycodone for break through pain. I have been doing this for about 8-10 months now. I rarely feel a euphoria, but it gives me motivation to do things. Without it I don't feel like doing anything. I am on anti-depressants and other medications. My depression is TRD (treatment resistant depression). I also have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and for the past 3 months, I sound like I have a clothes pin on my nose. My breathing is not good. If not, then it is not any type of prescription medication. Additionally, the only Oxycodone capsule available is a 5mg capsule, which has markings on it. I take 60 mgs of oxydone 2x day..dr recently added 10 mg opana er...omg...he sd its stronger...it will help you. ..bull sh#@! Its like candy only no happy ending....it doesn't even take away withdrawals! What should i do!???? ## No, 10mgs of Opana is only equivalent to 20mgs of Oxycodone, so it is not stronger in this dosage. You'd need 30mgs of it to be equivalent to each 60mgs of Oxycodone that you were taking. I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Why is that? ## The ONLY difference in the two pills is the Tylenol, and 1 of the pills (oxy 20) has 5 mgs more than the Percocet 15? I put the ? It seems like this time of year every year pain management Patience have the same problem getting this script filled. Why? Is it the DEA like some Pharmacy's have said or is it the manufactures, or another answer? I have seen the same Pain Management Dr. since 2005 and for the last 3 or 4 yrs. it has been the same. ## I'm sorry, but unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. We have had quiet a few posts from people that are having problems getting their prescriptions filled, however, the FDA information does not list any shortages, or other problems with the supply. I'm a cronic pain patient going on 10 Years. I have had multiple surgeries on my lower back.
