After taking first dose of Bystolic 20 mg., 15 hours later had red cheeks lasting all day, no discomfort or other symptoms. Had been taken off of high dose of metoprolol, so put on high dose of Bystolic. Called Pharmacy, They advised me not to stop med. ## Hi Sue, I'm not finding any information listing "reddened cheeks" as a side effect. I did read that some people may experience an allergic reaction that causes the blood vessels to swell, maybe you are having an allergic reaction of some sort? I have been on Phentermine for a couple years and have noticed after eating my face gets hot and flushed. I have been tested for lupus along with other autoimmune diseases. I had puss leaking from the gums but the dentist did not drain it. He just extracted my bottom row wisdom tooth and gave me Amoxicillin 500 MG 4x. Hey has anyone had under eye and cheek swelling? I have had derma fillers placed in my tear troughs and cheeks over a year ago and my earlobes repaired and filled with derma filler 2 years ago. My GI Dr insists it’s the derma filler. I used Zyclara as directed for 2 weeks, the last 4 or 5 days on my cheeks. It peeled as I expected but left some scaring on 1 cheek, and both cheeks turned bright red. Recently I've had a breakou on my face - on the cheeks. I'm on Yasmin, Glucop. And occassionally take Zyrtec as I'm allergic to MOST things e severely to shell fish.
