Is there anyone else who is on adderall right now and has been up for 24 hours? I'd love someone to talk to regarding this. ## Mee.. 24 hours and currently about to redose ## stars, you need to talk to your dr about lowering your dosage. Adderall is a good drug, but it can have side effects. Even those with ADHD can be given to high of a dose. You also need to get some sleep instead of taking another dose. Being awake as long as you have been can cause medical and psychiatric problems, ## If you're staying up 24 hours on the Adderall available today, you must be taking 50 a day. No way normal dose will do that these days. ## Kevin, not being able to sleep is a common problem when someone is taking too much Adderall. It doesn't have to be a lot to prevent someone from sleeping.

I was prescribed Ritalin as a kid, then graduated to Adderall until I was 18. After that, my parents moved out-of-state, and I was no longer insured, so I decided to try and show everyone I didn't need medication to be 'normal'. I could never tell that the medication did anything for me, but my parents always seemed to notice a positive difference. I'm now almost 31, married, and doing pretty well, but I still struggle with focus (studying) and finishing tasks / forgetfulness, so I saw my doctor who prescribed me 20mg of Adderall XR a day. I took my first dose this morning, and had a homemade fruit smoothie with it... but within the first 30min or so I started to feel really antsy, super chatty, felt like I was about to bounce out of my skin, and experienced dry mouth, a...

I'm in agony! I can't keep taking adderall and methadone, it's starting to make me feel irritated. I hate having to be on something. I just want to feel normal again without relying on pills. I'm terrified of coming off of these pills. Please if you or anyone has any advice or help for making it easier, anything I'd be very grateful. ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? What doses are you taking and how often? Both of these medications are listed by the FDA as having the possibility of being habit forming, which means that too rapid of a withdrawal could cause some miserable withdrawal effects, such as nausea, fever/chills, diarrhea, rebound pain, insomnia and irritability. Thus, a slow taper would be best. Have you spoken to your doctor about getting off of them? Having m...

My daughters doc placed her on Adderall XR starting at 20mg. She is almost 11 but tall and over 100lbs which was docs reason for starting higher. I haven't given it yet. The pharmacist told me it's a middle of the road dose but most start lower. Of course he didn't see how big she is. Anyone able to let me know if this is normal to start at 20mg? She has been tested in school, by a psychologist, and by parent and teacher rating scales. She also tests as having some ODD which the doc thinks is more from the ADD. She is not diagnosed as hyper. Please let me know! ## It can vary by age and weight, so it is always best to follow a doctor's instructions, but don't be afraid to ask them questions, if you are worried. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of b...

I have taken 40mg of Adderall XR (20 mgx2) for over five years. Once in the past i had to stop taking the Adderall abruptly and the withdrawal was terrible. From everything i heard and was told it wasnt supposed to be bad. I was stuck in bed for days. No matter how much i slept i was exhausted. Eventually Aderall was restarted and things went back to normal. However, now a couple of years later during a very stressful week i made the mistake of abusing my prescription. I took half a months worth the first week. Just going back to my normal dose after abusing for one week, im experience withdrawal symptoms. Fatigue, depression. Now i will only have enough pills to take my normal 2xday for some of the month the rest of the month i will only be able to take 1 pill.i have important thhings ...

My psychiatrist gives me Adderall and Xanax and has been for 2 years. I went to the Suboxone clinic and got Suboxone and I guess it came up in my drug panel at my psychiatrist and she will not prescribe me my meds. Now I'm going through serious withdrawals. Does anybody have any suggestions? ## Since they are both considered by the FDA to be habit forming, that is a normal occurrence, most doctors will not continue prescribing them for someone being treated for an existing addiction. While I understand an addiction may not be why you sought out a Suboxone clinic, I am just telling you how your psychiatrist most likely sees it. Did you inform her ahead of time that you were taking Suboxone? ## My doctor prescribes me Suboxone and Xanax; though it's a very small dose. Plus this is...

I take sandoz generic adderall 10mg twice a day, is it normal to have over focused issues if the dose is too high? I know I have primary inattentive and hyper active adhd, but it just puts me into a tunnel, I can study and read, but I notice my eyes are wide open the whole day, and I feel extremely hypervegilient e ## It is a stimulant, so those can be normal side effects of it, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and anorexia. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. How long have you been taking it? Are you making sure to stay away from caffeine and other stimulants while taking it? ## I have taken adderall xr for a while, switched to IR and taking sandoz, I've taken teva and have not had the time warping effects that th...

i take wellbutrin, paxil. kolatapin, and adderall could they thin your blood ## dose wellbutin thin your blood ?? ## No, that is not a normal side effect of these medications. The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and weight changes. Are you having an issue with blood thinning? Are these the only medication you are currently taking? What are your diagnosed medical conditions? There is really no way to say how any medication will affect anyone that tries it, so it can't be 100% ruled out, but it is unlikely that the listed ones would cause any dangerous blood thinning.

hi my child has started this treatment for ADHD. the medication is adderall cor 130. i would like to know if its safe for my 5 yr old son.I dont trust this pills but his mother says its ok.. i just want to make sure its ok for him. please let me know if its safe. ## Hello, Flex! How are you? It is no more or less safe than any other FDA approved medication, which means there can be some risks, but they are rarely known to occur. This is also a very low dose, it's a generic for Adderall and this is just a 5mg tablet, its a stimulant, so normal side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and insomnia. How long ago did he start it?

I was on Adderall XR 30 mg, 3X/day for a long time until all the generics came out with the ineffective fillers and they became ineffective. My doctor then switched me to Ritalin 20 mg, 3X/day. They did help to perk me up. I'm on a heavy dose of morphine thru an infusion pump for chronic pain for almost 10 years. I called the office to tell them about the side effects I was having: INTENSE sweating, ANGER, mood changes. I was told to reduce the script to 1/2 pill in the am and 1/2 in the pm. This was a little too low so I take 1 tablet in the am and 1/2 in the pm. So far, this seems to be working well and the sweating has decreased almost 98%, anger is gone. I think I'll stay here since its working. Has anyone else had issues with Ritalin? ## Those can be normal side effects of ...

I’m a female,19, 5’2, and 120 pounds. I have bad ADD, and I finally got medication for it. My insurance was not able to cover Adderall so they had to give me a generic brand labeled as just “Amphetemine Salts”. Each tablet was 5mg and they instructed me to just take 2 in the morning for now. I took 2 but I felt no difference and was slightly disappointed. The only thing I realized was that after 5 hours I would get more irritable and fatigued. So the next day I decided to take 3 tablets (15mg) to see if that would improve my focus, I ended up feeling more forgetful than I normally am and felt no difference or improvement again. So the next day I decided to take 4 tablets (20mg average dose for adults) but i still did not feel an improvement or any difference. I d...

I have taken Alprazolam for months and not had any major problems with its effectiveness. Mylan by far worked the best. But now with Aurobindo brand I feel like I’m taking a "sugar pill". The prescribed dose is 2mg as needed up to 4 times a day. The first day I took all 8 mg, despite not filling them until 5:00 pm. I didn’t sleep that night at all and the next day took just as many, with a tiny slice of relief from my anxiety. Usually I don’t take more than 2.5mg- 3 mg a day. I don’t want to have to depend on anything to help me feel “normal”. I filled this drug 03/23/2021. Please tell me, is anyone else going through the same thing?!?!? ## I think their meds are fake. I refuse to take their adderall because they feel like speed. I got some an...
