I found out how. To break down the oxycontin op so that they can be snorted. {edited for safety} It may take a few tries, but once you get the general idea, you will find what works best for you. I've been doing it this way and now im pretty damn good at it and I've been able to get a nice high and a decent drip this way. I find that its much more convenient to do this to a bunch of pills at a time and then just store what you don't use right away in a little container for later so you don't have to do all this work everytime you do a pill. I really hope I was able to help all of you out. It may take a little trial and error at first before you get it perfect... so until you do, only use one pill at a time so you don't waste all of them if you make any mistakes ( of course, if you do just eat it so it doesn't go to waste ).

btw-i found a way that knocks you on your but. use "energyc" in packets at walmart or anywhere-vitamin section. put cut up pill(12-15 pieces are good) then simply put powder then chopped item and water 3-4oz tops...shake 5 minutes then every so often for the next hour and leave till morning(1 hour its mostly dissolved for those who cant wait) and if u wait till the morning it will be completly dissolved and taste good, and vitamins. and 15 minutes later i was pain free and lasted a long time...so far this way you dont lose any and is the best ive had to date and painfree for good amt. of time.

Interesting, are you saying that the pill dissolves the rest of the way after having cut or ground it? That would make it a great deal more beneficial when it extreme pain. I will try to see if it works for me. Is there anything else that has to be done to it, and will it dissolve all the way?

what do u use to hold the pill. it hurts my fingers trying to hold and my quack dr is starting me on op 20's which suck but until next visit theres not much i can do but i have a dremmel, and a foot callous shredder as ive seen in some post and just think once i get 40's op or stronger it will be easier to grind up. right now i use coffe grinder then put in emergency vitamin packet and shake and sit overnight is the best way ive found so far but these suck esp. when im use to 5 30's a oxy ir a day and get switched to this bs. but better than nothing i guess. these are only bringing my pain down a notch at best, it sux a dr wont give me my meds that works for me for the last 12 years...i then asked him for dilaudid since he wont write my oxies ir and he said no...so then why is he asking what i want that works...bunch of bs man...im gonna talk to him next visit about his bullcrap pain plan...

Amen. I was addicted to opioids for 4 years and granted it was no picnic I would have told someone like that to go f*** themselves. I'm clean now, but I agree with you, people have a right to choose.

best way is crush up in cofee grinder (easier than trying to shave down with a grater) dump in a watertight bottle with emergen c vitamin mix packets. walmart has them cheap 30 packets for 7.88. then put powder in watertight bottle(water bottle) only about 2-ounces of water-hot to touch is fine. shake all up for 5 minutes and try waiting an hour so all is dissolved and good to go. i make mine all before bed and its all dissolvedby am and take half in am and half in pm good all day long no meds wasted.
generics oxies will be coming 2013 and companies will be using old formula type for obvious money making reasons...purdue patent ends dec 31 2012, and companies know we all hate these s***ty new op formula.(way weaker by the way than the original oc)

yes dissolves entirely. i cut up with a razor(coffee grinder broke) but razor is just fine cut into say 14 pieces(half then half then half and cut up into small pieces but no need to go crazy) i use a 3 oz container from target(shampoo holder) 1$ and put 1 packet emergenc vitamin pack then dump cut up oxy(i do both mine and drink half in am and half pm and works all day and saves on using 2 emergency packets)-get em walmart-cheaper than walgreens.
this part is important-i messed up once and when you use hot tap water to add to container, this stuff fizzes up so only ADD VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF HOT TAP WATER so not to let the fizz go over the top as you want it all inside the container) now i only fill the container with say half the way(makes stronger break down) and use orange or lemon whatever you like. i have been impatient before in pain like today, and i did my thing and it was 75% dissolved in an hour and i feel great. i usually wait till say bedtime, cut both up and leave overnight and ready to go completly dissolved. make sure to cut up as small as possible but no need to go crazy it will dissolve. and make sure after cutting it up, adding to "emergency" inside container(h2o bottle or shampoo watertight container) YOU SHAKE THE HECK out of it non stop for say 5 minutes nonstop. then i go back every 10-15 minutes to shake again real fast-few secs and do this for about 30 minutes-come back to give a quick shake and then just leave it and overnight by am its 100% dissolved. just remember to cut into small pieces(i use my razor box cutter) switch blades every 3-4 days so stays sharp. no need to take coating off using this method and no waste of meds. you can google this method and see others say this is the best way for extraction and easy. emergenc packets of 30 are 7.88 at walmart and use 1 a day if doing both at once or get 2 containers and put 1 pill chopped with half the packet and other pill in other container with other half of packet(for exact dosing)
just use say 1oz hot water in container too much water just makes a weaker solution. ive tried other ways and this is by far the easiest and best way and it lasts this way. hope this helps. any questions that i left out just send a reply and ill write back.

I don't agree with the Docs being conservative over writing pain meds, I feel they should be legal, so like someone seeking alcohol isn't fought against they just go buy there alcohol and fall asleep next to the liquor store thats ok but pain meds legal than how would doctors make there money

shut up. you sound like a sheltered whiney loser who has no life of their own so you try to bring down others! doing drugs recreationally and in the privacy of your own home is perfectly fine, they are not hurting anybody (except maybe themselves) and that is their choice. we can do what we want with our bodies. you only live once, better to try some stuff and have a good time than live a sheltered little life judging everybody and being miserable! the us government should be real happy about these new formula oxycontin pills (sarcasm) because all it did was make people like me who used to do pills switch to heroin (insufflated not injected) because it is much cheaper and a much stronger/better high that lasts much longer! great job government, now your gonna have a lot more heroin overdoses on your hands!

I'm trying to treat women addicted to opiods who are pregnant or really going down the tubes. It costs a lot to withdraw a baby, like 80K. Getting certified to use suboxone but still a ways away. Had a patient injecting 90 Roxy per day. Also on klonipen 2 mg 2xper day. I put her on 100 Tramadol q8 hours and just OxyContin 20 mg 2x per day. Kept the klonipen and added Gabapentin 3x per day. She missed her next appt but called and said it was helping, not in withdrawel. She was trying to find methadone, but not easily available. Not making judgements but we all agree babies withdrawing, big problem. If I just wrote OxyContin 20 mg, and they give generic, do I need to write OP so she won't shoot it? She wants to stop but I know it's hard; I assumed that all Oxy was the OP version; do I need to write specifically for that?

To Iron Maiden....I have done exactly as you have, written to those who may be able to help clean up the sad society we have to deal with, regarding using any drugs for pleasure. They have really put those of us in dire need, for health reasons, to alleviate pain due to unfortunate circumstances. I wish I could help those in "emotional" need, who use drugs as a way to survive and don't have health issues, just "mental" health issues! I am happy to say, as of this week, my doctor has found it for me and the migraines, osteoporosis and MS I suffer with, by trying the low dose Fentanyl Patch. I think it is working...plus I will now be able to get off all pain pills and just use the Patch. I have hung in with this doctor for over a year, she has tried so many ways to help me and finally....finally...after 65 years of severe, painful migraines...I will have a life. It has taken a lot of time and patience on both our parts, plus doing Yoga and seeing a Counselor...but it is working. Anything to get off the horrible, debilitating drugs that WILL eventually kill you if they are not controlled by someone who knows what they are doing. In my case, a Mayo Clinic Professional. Thanks to everyone's input here....I am finally going to have a life, what is left of it, as I am 73 years old...and now ready to "kick up my heels"!!!!!!! Good luck and God Bless you all!!!!

Um! I hate to tell you but there are people in society that cant swallow a pill which means they have to be crushed. I am one of these people. I am prescribed oxcontin because I've had two major back surgeries!I cant swallow food,let alone a pill.Therefore crushing my meds is the only way I can ingest it.No I do not snort anything!! And another thing is do you not realize that any narcotic medication only stays in the blood stream for 24 hrs. it stays in the urine however up to 72 hrs.Therefore drawing someones blood will not give the dr an accurate reading as to how much is in anyones system. So why dont everyone keep their nose out of everyone elses business and worry more about yourselves. Besides how would you even know to put a post or comment about stuff like this unless you was looking for a way to break one down so you can snort it yourselves!!!

That sound great, lets add dyes to pills now just one more useless ingredient in a pill many people need to function and now will have to ingest dyes because they have no other option just like the glue in the OxyContin ops...and we wonder why cancer is a major health concern these days lol

I have an idea. I read that if the polymer gets to a certain temp it will crystallize. But the temp has to be very cold. I was thinking of grinding an op up and put it on a plate with dry ice under the plate. That way the oxycodone would be suspended in the crystal now which your stomach will break down faster. Now I haven't tried it just yet but it seems like it would work. Tell me what y'all think.
