Genvoya and weight gain

My partner and I have been on genvoya for a year or more and have both experienced weight gain of around 25 or more lbs. It is very strange for both of us, we work out 5 days a week and eat pretty healthy but are struggling to loose the weight. Has anyone else gained weight? I myself have never weighed this much even when I was not working out and eating poorly. ## Most medications can cause weight gain in people that take them, according to FDA instructions. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and diarrhea. What is your current weight? Are you still gaining? What does your normal diet consist of? ## Funny, I’ve been taking it for a couple months and suddenly have belly fat... I cycle, spin and have always been thin. Suddenly having a b...

Genvoya giving a strange smell after taking it

Every time I take my daily Genvoya (just started on it after switching from Atripla) about 3 months ago, I start to smell a strange scent. It doesn't smell bad, sort of sweet, sort of like plugging in one of those strong Airwick plug-ins... I know - sounds strange. I take the medicine with supper at night, and I get the smell all evening and during the night. But by the morning, the scent has pretty much disappeared, only to be completely gone by Noon. But then it starts all over again later in the day when i take the next dosage. Anyone else have this issue? I know it is minor, but just curious if this is common. My doctor doesn't have a clue, as usual on these types of symptoms.. ## That can be a side effect of most medications, they can mess with your sense of smell, and tast...

I have a 4 week old baby on nevirapine at the clinic. They also gave me ilvitrim, so I just want to know if that is the same thing or must I get nevirapine as well? ## Hello, Lu! How are you and your baby? Is your baby HIV positive or negative? If they are negative, then normally just the Ilvitrim is given, the Nevirapine is an antiviral that's used to treat an HIV infection. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. ## Can I give my baby the ilvitrim suspension at anytime or must he drink it at the same time everyday? its a large white tablet imprinted m152. ## what the are active ingredients of an oval shaped white tablet imprinted M 152 on it. state the various uses and side effects. thank you. ## What does m152cure ## Hello everyone, Based on my research, a white capsule-shaped film coated tablet imprinted with “M 152” on one side and blank on the other side, is identified as an HIV-1 medication containing the following active ingredients: Efavirenz 600mg + Lamivudine 300mg + Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate 300mg. It doesn't say that it's intended to cure anything, but rather "treat" the condition, like most prescription medications. And as far as side effects are concerned, I've actually seen some sites list two pages worth of symptoms for this particular medication....

drug interaction atripla chantix

I would like to know symptoms and side effects of taking Chantix with the HIV medicine Atripla; both have a lot of psychological side effect warnings and I want to know if it's worth the risk to take both of these together or not... ## I do not know the effects of taking these drugs together. However, I can tell you 1st hand that Chantix -in myself and 2 others I know personally- was a Rx for personal and friendship relationship disasters. IMO they should change the name to "Antix" b/c of the way it will turn a loving individual into a unreasonable hateful being. We stopped ch-Antix and used the e-cig system to stop smoking and still keep friends... ## I did not find any problems, or interactions listed, but there is no way to say how any given medication may affect any pers...
