I recently was going to a pain clinic for my pain medication and was discharged because I had over the counter medicine in my system. I need to find a good doctor that will write pain madicine and wont discarge you over stupid stuff like taking over the counter medicine.

Cindy, good luck with that. It's really hard to get a dr to write a script like that. I was getting the same thing. I've been going to pain clinics for 18 yrs or more. They found me disabled back in 1994. I have several medical problems just not one or two. Now with all the people od 's it's hard to get anything now.its not fair now the ones who needs it can't get it. My pain clinic recently shut down, and I have your problem. I've done went to several clinics and they find out what I'm on, then treat me like a junky, they get rude and act like they hate to deal with me. That's what it feels like, then they make remarks and say I'm going to give you a tabs and your lucky I'm giving you that. Come on, I've worked my way up, and over the years I got more medical problems, but I sure didn't need to be treated like that. So good luck. If you find a place count your blessings.

I have been in pain for several years. I went to a pain clinic but they closed with no notice! I need a pain clinic close to Bluefield WV?? I'm willing to drive as far as Beckley. But I don't know which one to go to without wasting my time. Especially since I don't drive & have a friend drive. It's arthritis plus spreading tiny neck , shoulders! My back also seems to feel worse than it has?' Thx hope you have a good suggestion! I just want to maintain my life style!

I have been on methadone 5 mg one time a day for several years. I started this medicine in 2004 from a doctor in Charlottesville, VA. He prescribed 5 mg 4 times a day and I felt like I had my life back. After about 2 years he passed away and then I found a pain clinic in the Princeton, WV area. This clinic closed so my regular physician would not prescribe my meds. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis aggravated by migraines and some other medical problems. As I said I'm only taking 5 mg in the morning to just be able to move around and get my body going. Now my regular physician says he may no longer be able to prescribe the one pill a day because of laws about opioids. He doesn't want to be classified as a pain clinic. Does anyone know of a pain clinic in the southern WV area or surrounding areas that has a pain clinic that may prescribe a little more than 5mg a day of methadone? I have NEVER abused them and I mean NEVER. I sit here today in pain trying so hard to clear the mind fog and pain to be able to just make it thru the day. I don't think this is asking too much for a physician to prescribe just a little more. I am 70 years old and in otherwise good condition. It's just the pain and mind fog from fibromyalgia and arthritis. I can get meds for the migraines without any problems. My stress level is super high. I really need help to have a little quality in my life

I've been trying to find me a dr who will give me something to help me. I was at another clinic, been there going on 9 yrs, and I went to another dr before that and was there about that same amount of time. But I never missed my appointments, or I had never failed a drugs panel. So if you would, what was that place you where going to? I've been without my meds for long enough. I can't sleep due to having light seizures, jerk around when I'm trying to sleep. I hate that happened to you. Nowadays you really got to be careful if you are getting your meds strong, because the rest of them won't write them for you.

I felt like I had.y life taken when .y clinic of 3 yrs decided to dismiss me . I've been looking and looking to a Dr to help me and not treat me like a junkie. I have alot of pain and suffering awful . If u have found a Dr to help you would you please respond back to me?! Bless you and I hope you aren't suffering anymore ! I am at the end of my rope!!

Instead of paying a foreign doctor pushing drugs to get rich quick... try wild lettuce that you can find in almost every yard... be careful it is as strong as morphine and you can overdose and die.

I GOT CUT OFF ALL MY MEDS BECAUSE OF NON COMPLIANCE WITH SCHEDULE II NARCOTICS CONTRACT, I DONT KBOW WHAT THAT MEANS, I HAVEN'T TAKEN ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS AND I couldn't GO BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR BLOOD WORK BECAUSE I STARTED MIDNIGHTS THAT SAME DAY AND COULDNT GET IN ON TIME, BLOOD WAS DRAWN FROM 8:00 am to 10:00 AND I DIDNT GET HOME UNTIL 11:00 AND I LOST MY INSIRANCE AND WOULD THINK A FAMILY DOCTOR YOU'VE BEEN WITH FOR 6 YEARS WOULD HAVE AT LEAST UNDERSTOOD THAT AND WORKED AROUND ME A LITTLE. I MEAN HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT TO YOUR NEW DOCTOR WITHOUT HIM THINKING YOU'RE A DRUG ADDICT? GOOD LUCK EVERYONE SINCERELY BERT

To make a long story short, I have been with my family doctor for six years, I have herniated disc, arthritis bursitis, neurophysiology nerve damage carpel tunnel heart disease and COPD, I have taken PERC 30 & 15 and ZANAX when I lived in Georgia. I moved to WV and have been with a family doctor here for 6 years they dropped my pain prescription to Hydocone 10mgs 120/4 per day big difference I know, even though I suffered I went along with the plan but my quality of life dropped dramatically too, I have heart disease, COPD, ARTHRITIS, Carpel tunnel neuropthey and suffer migraines. My doctor of 6 years discharged me fr there practice because they say non-compliance of sced ll narcotics contract, I don't know what that means, I haven't taken any other kind of drug and how do I eplain that to a new doctor if I don't know why. Any the DEA needs to back off our doctors and.let them do their job they trained for and help people and the DEA can go finish their GED
