I suffer from chronic pain from Lupus and I am trying to find a doctor who will prescribe my pain medication for me. My current doctor got in trouble & forced me into withdrawal. I was on Percocet so something similar would be great if possible. I'm currently located in Columbus Ohio. If anyone knows of any good doctors or pain management that actually care & listen to someone with real pain around this area it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Old post but still wanted to say I believe you. He tends to assault in some fashion or another. He sexually assaulted me. I felt numb, dirty & broken, and like so many survivors often do, I felt responsible. I would like to add that it most definitely wasn't his first time either as he was very very clever in tricking me to believe he was just going to "adjust" my hips. I said something to him immediately & he stormed out of the room. Of course I never went back after that. The pain & withdrawal I experienced were nothing compared to the emotional trauma. I have a very hard time believing that myself & another woman were his only 2 victims (I hate that word!!), yet people get on here and speak of him as if he is some kind of god. It makes me wonder why is this man so revered. I feel sorry for Michigan. He's a sick man & I believe he'll continue his perverted path of destruction. Too bad you didn't beat his @$$ when he threw you up against the wall!

I saw Korby in 2002 after being hit by a car. He immediately put me on OxyContin 80 mg, four times a day. I have literally no memory of the next six months. Finally, my wife and I went to see him about lowering the dosage. He became verbally abusive to both of us and finally told us to "get the f*** out of his office". We got up and I went to pick up my chart and he attacked me. He had me up against the wall with his hands around my throat. I finally got him off me and demanded they call the police. I had an opportunity to pursue this legally but my life was already upside down due to this injury. I did file a complaint with Workers Compensation. This man is a quack. My wife and I actually went out to celebrate when we heard thru my current Dr. that he surrendered his license. He is a disgrace to the medical profession. I see all these people on here who praise him and I can't believe it. I suspect that's because he was willing to prescribe narcotics like candy. Judging by other posts, this man, in addition to being a quack, is a sexual predator and deserves to be behind bars.

Dr.Deshpande has been my doctor for many years. I started out with going through at least 20 different pain pills to injections. Later I got a pain pump. It changed my life. He is not a doctor to just give all kinds of meds. He cares about his patients by taking a more aggressive treatment route instead of getting them hooked on pills. Down side of his office is a lot of the staff is very unfriendly and there is always new people in the front office. If I didn't owe him big time for my pain pump I would have left by now. He has a new office and he is very busy. You wait for him up to an hour. Very very busy. He will get you some pain relief though and I trust HIM 100% with my treatment!

Time we pain patients should put our congress in our condition to see how we have to live on a daily basis. I bet the laws would change. Time we fight back.

He was having sexual relations with a patient and giving out controlled medication like it was candy. Why would you want treatment from him? It is beyond understanding. Are you addicted to drugs?!

Yes, been there 2 years. He mixes procedures with medicine, his PA is good too. My husband and I both went there. Each got a different kind of medicine. I wasn't paying attention one morning and picked up my hubby's Norco instead of my Percocet, and my drug panel came out dirty. I was given a final prescription, but he continues to see my hubby and prescribe to him. He really is a decent doctor, and his staff is awesome.

Looking for new pm. He put me on a patch 10mg and still had to take two 10 mg of vicodan a day.I c sad liked to complain about itching real bad and sweating till I was soaked. They said take benadryl.Last week I started to feel real weak and shaking.I was at the end of 4weeks on patch.I removed patch as I felt that was the problem and later my head started hurting so bad.I have had migraines and this was like no other headache I ever had.I was jumping up and down holding my head as it felt like k e knives were poking me on very top of head. I was crying and scared .Then the stabbing stopped and I threw up for hours. I felt so close to death that night. Needless to say after that I was scared to take my meds. I have gotten to 1vicodan a day .So I do not completely withdrawal. I also am fed up. I am not an addict either. I do not like taking the meds .I endure pain everyday so I stay on low dose. With this law they have made it hard for us. I have taken meds for 10 yrs. They also tried opana and others like it .It seems I am no good on morphine. So tired of being treated this way. I have degenerated spine. Had surgery .Unsuccessful .They replaced two disc and fusion did not take. Also left me in extreme leg pain. Taken the shots. Have bulging, disc in, neck as well.

Look it up on the Ohio Medical Board website. He forfeited his licence in lieu of having his licence revoked. This enabled him to be able to practice in Michigan.

Korby retired. Left the state as well. I heard that he was "forced" out. Not sure though.
