what is the difference between the two, prexum plus 5mg versus prexum 5mg. My pharmacy insists they the same, then why the difference with the plus? ## can i take prexum plus 5mg if Dr prescribed prexum plus 4mg pharmacist gave me 5mg ## Hello Debbie, From what I can find on these drugs the only difference between the two is that Prexum Plus also contains the active ingredient Indapamide - 1.25Mg. Indapamide is used to reduce high blood pressure and reduce extra salt and fluid in the body. If your doctor is prescribing your Prexum for the use of the active ingredient perindopril arginine then there will be no difference between the two. I hope this information helps. ## Can I take Prexum Plus together with Prexum 4mg?

I had open heart surgery in 2000, no problems since. Doc. put me on this medication and won't refill without a office visit ($100 minimum). With rising cost, I have no medical ins. to help me out with the cost of the visit. The meds are only $4 a month, but can't get a script without a office visit. Sad isn't it? It seems that the money pinch will get you somewhere. Please I need to know if there is an over the counter for this medication. ## Just go to the free clinic and a doctor will give you a script hey i understand your health insurance problem and i pay taxes so forget being ashamed about the free clinic ## Unfortunately, most doctors will not continue to prescribe, without an office visit, because they need to monitor your condition. I have started having my hair fall out and to break off ... also I seemto be having a very fast heart rate wheb ever I stand or walk. Could one of the medications be causing this? Thanks for your help ... it is greatly appreciated! ## Most blood pressure medications are known to cause hair loss, in some people that take them, as a side effect, it has also been known to cause accelerated, and irregular heart beat, but that symptom could also be caused by the Spireva. My Furosemide dose continues at three 20mg pills twice a day, but a change occurred with the manufacturer. It was Westward (54 840) and now it's Solco Health (V 3169). My daytime blood pressure is now dropping. Is there any correlation between this and the differences in pills? Both are 20mg tablets. ## How low is it dropping? Have you made any other changes to your diet, or lifestyle? Sometimes, as ones blood pressure gets lower, medication doses need to be lowered to keep it from going too low. Are you also making sure that you are staying hydrated? Furosemide works by removing excess fluid from the body, and if you become dehydrated, that will also cause your blood pressure to drop. Other side effects may include dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

My mother will be 90 years old in August 2019. She was prescribed Furosemide 40mg, 2 tablets in the morning and 1 tablet at 2pm. (prescribed after cardiac failure) She also drinks 1x Ridaq 12.5mg each morning after breakfast. Other medication is Isosorbide Dinitrate 10, 1 tablet 3x per day. She drinks +- 1.5lt water pd. She's complaining of having to get to the toilet 4/5x during night +- once every 30-45 during the day. Could the Furosemide and Ridaq dosages too much for her. Thank you ## That is a normal side effect of both Furosemide and the Hydrochlorothiazide in the Ridaq, they are both intended to remove excess fluid from her body to help prevent future congestive heart failure, they can also help to lower high blood pressure. pale yellow small round pill with M2 on one side ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is identified as Furosemide 20 mg; which has M2 imprinted on one side and blank on the other. The only difference is that this particular pill is "off-white" and not yellow. I noticed however that you described it as a "pale" yellow, so I can only speculate that this could still be a viable match. Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00378-0208 For verification, you can also compare the size of your pill to this one, which happens to be 6.00 mm You can learn more about this drug on the page for Furosemide Details I hope this helps! ## What is a yellow pill with M2 on one side and a M on the other side?
