C 74 Pill Side Effects

Have been taking bilocor for 3/4 years, have developed a scalp condition - pityriasis amantacea which my dermatologist can be a rare side effect of bilocor. Very distressing as it causes scales on the scalp that come away with hair so can cause patches of baldness. Can this be from the bilocor? ## I have a pacemaker and use Bilocor 5 on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the Bilocor has rendered me totally impotent. Are there any alternatives without this side-effect? ## I take bilocor daily, but started having a runny nose and coughing from the approximate time of commencing with bilocor. I was prescribed HYDROCODONE/APAP 10 M after a hernia operation and used just a few days with a stool softener. That was over a week ago, and I have had urinary incontinence ever since. I am 74 yrs. I had heart bypass in Dec 2013. As per advice I am taking Ecosprin AV 150 & Amlopin 2.5 mg one tablet a day.I get a little congestion in throat & also have cough in the sputem. Can it be the side effect of the above medicines ? ## Those aren't usual side effects, according to the NIH, they typically include nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are you on any other medications? The Amlopin can cause a dry cough as a side effect.

From what I've been able to find, this is an over the counter product called Guaipax SR that is listed as containing 75mgs of Phenylpropanolamine and 400mgs of Guaifenesin, it is a cold remedy that helps relieve nasal congestion. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, dry throat, nervousness and insomnia. That also explains why it's been hard to find an identification for it, over the counter medications are not required to be listed with the FDA like prescription drugs. ADCO-BISOCOR 5MG. WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR? ## I am using 10 mg of adco-bisocor, and am 74 years old. My problem is that my legs started to get swollen and in the late afternoons/evenings are painful. Can you help? Is it a negative response to the meds?

I was put on the generic form of Lipitor. 40mg. I am small framed and weigh about 120. I started having muscle pain all over and was very weak. Also dizzy and diarrhea. Felt awful. Dr. took me off it immediately and my total cholesterol had dropped from 310 to 153 in less than a month. non hdl went from 220 to 74... but my ALT to check my liver is 46. I am starting to feel much better now that I am not taking it but I am concerned about my liver. Will my ALT go back to normal? ## Hello, Bambi! How are you?
