Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, indigestion, headaches and vertigo. There are other problems that could also cause these types of symptoms and this isn't the appropriate medication for all and could even worsen some. ## My. As to the fungus, you really don't have to do anything to get such a thing, regardless of your hygiene, they are very easy to pick up. Terbinafine is an antifungal and no, from what I've found it hasn't been known to cause weight gain. That is the active ingredient, there is nothing else hidden in it. The most common side effects may include dia...

Hi. I was prescribed terbinafine for 14 days and I am currently breastfeeding my 5-month-old. I just want to know if it is safe to take this medication while breastfeeding? ## According to the FDA, Terbinafine passes into your breast milk and may harm your baby. They go on to state that you should not breastfeed while taking Terbinafine tablets. Source: fda.gov/downloads/Drugs/DrugSafety/UCM524717.pdf I would encourage you to talk with your doctor about other alternatives to Terbinafine that are safe to take while breastfeeding or discuss the best way to feed your baby while taking these tablets - if it can be done in a safe manner by altering the dosage, timing and/or frequency of administration to lessen these risk factors. Hope this helps!
