Oxycodone 30mg Pain Clinics (Page 55)

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you.

OK folks, the day of the opiate is over. They just took out all the free writing doctors and scared the hell out of the others. The military turned control of the poppy fields back to the Taliban. It's the same old story of the spoils of war...follow the money. You can drop the Ailment Stories because no one cares.

I live in broward. I need a doctor that is not drug paronoid. I take no pain pills, but I need diazapam 10 MG 4 times per day for blepharspasm. I am facing brain surgery for brain fluid seeping into my sinus. No doctor will treat me with the appropriate meds for pain. Any help?

Hi i live in Broward county and having trouble finding a pain management doctor that will write scripts. I was in two accidents in 10 days and one 7 years ago. Ive tried the holistic way not working. Im 45 going on 70 i feel. If u could help please let me know.

Had a Dr. In Ohio here for 5 yrs and he moved his practice to PA an now no Pharmacys will fill his Scripts anymore ANYONE KNOW ANY DRs IN NE OHIO OR WESTERN PA THAT prescribe Roxy 30mg and SOMA Need HELP ASAP

Hello everyone, I live in south central KY I had a terrible car accident in 1992 that caused 2 herniated and ruptured disc in my lower back, over the past 2 decades was prescribed narcotics to deal with the terrible pain. I started with tramadol, lortabs, percs, fentanyl patches and then to oxycontin working thru the dosages on it. I'm not on here to give a sob story or looking for a pain dr I just thought maybe I could help someone because I've been there and have been judged by lots of people, I'm a professional I've got a engineering degree and worked in healthcare for the past 10 years, I've taken my Meds and maintained a productive life with no issues.
Here's the bad part I lost my job due to budget cuts and after a short period lost my insurance so I had to stop taking my Meds, I was taking oxycontin 80s x2 Dailey and it worked wonders (oxycontin when taken correctly is a god send) this was great while I had insurance but when I lost it the Meds alone was gonna cost me almost $1200 for 60 pills so I talked to my dr and ask if he'd change me over to the perc 30's he said sure and lowered my dosage to 4x 30s Dailey at a cost of $90, these hit hard on the onset but seem to rapidly goes away making the need for another tablet ( I myself think this is were addiction comes to play) well I did that for about 2 years and it's coming such a pain in the butt going to the dr then the pharmacy month after month I talked to my dr and told him I wanted to stop all together he said if you can then that's what we need to do and I'll help you (how many Drs can you say really want to help you and want to do what's best for you- I've got a great dr) he asked how I wanted to do it, I said let's start weaning down the dosage well we did that for a month or two and I decided to just go to the suboxone clinic so I did they wanted me to take two strips a day well with no insurance the sub clinic cost me around $1100 a month with Meds,drug testing,and office visit so I will only be able to go one month. As I said earlier they wanted me to take 2 strips a day, I started with 1/2 a strip 2x a day for a week then to 1/2 strip a day for a few days and then to notta my back hurts like a MF'er but I'm off all the narcotics.
I never thought I would be where I'm at today, with that said I know there are people out there that really need high dosages of Meds (I'm in no way judging you- hell I thought I needed them) but I also know these drugs really play with your mind and body, I thought the only way I could function was to have my medicine and if I was running low I worried about what I was gonna do when I run out, once again I'm not judging anyone I'm trying to help "I've walked in those shoes"
If you wake in the morning and the first thing you think of is your pills*****
Or if your almost out of pills and the last few ones do nothing for you******
Or if you could set a watch to the schedule your body tells you it's time to take one*****
If any of these things describe you please take a serious look at yourself you may not need them as. Ad as you think, now this in no way reflects with everyone but it did me my back is in terrible shape and it still hurts but I like the feeling without being chemically dependant, I hope this helps someone on here.
If someone really wants to stop taking opiates the suboxone clinic will help just don't substitute one drug for another on the long term, try to use half what they tell you to use if it works your good.

Help i need a pain dr. I have had two back surgeries and a neck surgery all were considered failures. Had 5 disc in neck 5 in back fused come to find out the surgeries were off. label wasn't informed of side effects. my pain clinic shut down over a year ago. our county is so bad we aren't allowed to have a pain clinic. my family dr writes me 3 norco 5's a day. can't even tell i take it. told dr didn't work. ask for perc 5s. he acted like i was asking for coke or H. told me i had to crawl before i walk. i'm tired of crawling. i need help. i pray to die the pain is so bad. tired of being treated like a drug addict. please help me find a caring dr. thanks. mike

I'm 43 years old and I have deteriorating disc and bone on bone as well as osteoarthritis and scoliosis. I had to start on pain medication when I was 23. First it was ultram and that worked at the time after being on ultram for 5 years it stopped working. Then I was put on lortab first 5 mg and then 10 mg after only 4 months it no longer helped then there was oxycodone, oxycontin after only a year and numerous increases I happened to see my family doctor who was still a resident and she consulted the head doctor who was also a pain specialist.
He had her put me on methadone 120 mg and 5 mg of oxycodone for break through pain. I am so thankful because for the first time the medicine lasted through the day. I have now been on the same dose of both for over 12 yrs now. I know that there is a lot of bad information about methadone but if it is taken as prescribed and the doctor checks on your levels with a peak and trauph test , methadone is safe and very effective. If you have been through all the other pain meds with very little relief or you have to take more and more then I would ask your doctor to let you try it. I wish you all good luck!

Suboxone is trash disgusting nalaxone put into it to permanently destroy endorphins which is morphine your body naturally makes, if anything go for subutex, but people only do this when they have nothing else to ween off with!! How dare you promote the garbage that is suboxone!!!! Please let your doctor know the truth about this trash

John that's your opinion and you are intittle to it just as I am to mine, it works maybe not for all but this was my results. Not judging but it sounds as if you don't want off narcotics (and that's your choice have at it) but I did want off my friend not because I couldn't get them I've gotten just about anything I've tried for over the years with my records validating my medical condition I wanted off because they were destroying my family life and they were not worth it, as I've stated in previous post I've gotten a really bad back two ruptured disc that hurt really really bad on occasion and I've taken a few narcotics to help with the pain over the past few months but nothing like before.
I didn't post here to preach to anyone I posted to try to help someone make a decision in the event they were at the cross roads I was at and yes the suboxone does work or at least it did for me.
I want everyone to know my results with the suboxone and hope I help others, so if you will please post the facts and not just your opinion and let others make the choice based on that.

Why would you take suboxone which is bupeprenorphine with nalaxone (which destroys endorphins) when you can get subutex which is bupeprenorphine without that junk that just causes side effects nothing good about it, clearly your doc didn't trust you or you didn't have acess to the better alternative, if you say you prefer suboxone?

Oh well all I can say is I'm off everything including the suboxone I went to the sub clinic one month they gave me 20 strips for the first 10 days I took 7 when I went back for my second visit on the 10th day they forgot I give me a script and I didn't say anything cause I had some on my 3rd visit they wrote a script for 60 strips I got 15 of those and still haven't filled the entire script and I'm off everything, I have taken a oxy here one there (I've taken about 9 in two months- where I'd taken 9 in two days before) anyway I'm not here to argue with anyone I'm just telling you what worked for me and the only reason I wrote this to start with was I never thought I'd be off pain pills but I'm off now and if I can do it anyone can at my worst I took 6- 80s a day not just one or two days but day after day after day I went thru over a half million dollars in a little over 3 years and that's just what I bought not counting the ones I got from my dr I was prescribed 4-40s a day but I'm off now and I'm proud of it.
If someone out there wants to get off them you can do it please do t give up.

Im not judging. but hear my warning. SUBOXONES WILL BE THE WORST DRUG AROUND. PEOPLE WILL BE ROBBING AND KILLING TO GET THEIR SUBS FIX! WORST THAT AND H, CRACK, AND PILL PUT TOGETHER! Cuz pills coke and H ya be sick for few days or a week at most. SUBOXONES YOU WILL BE SICK FOR A MONTH OR MORE. Got to give respect for the best drug dealer in the world, the pharmaceutical company! Like all drug dealers They handing suboxones out like candy right now to get people hooked then jack the prices up!

I must have not got my point out, I agree totally that with suboxone or subutex you are substituteing one drug for another and that's what I told my doc ( and my doc is a personal friend and coworker with my wife so trust was not a issue with me suboxone is the only drug they give out at the clinic) anyway my first vist at the clinic I told them I did not and would not be coming a second month unless I was in terrible shape and had to, that was at the first of the year and I've not even filled half my script because I never took they're recomended dosage they said take two per day I think I took two halves per day at first and weaned down very quickly from that over about 2 weeks down to nothing but on occasion I'll take a 1/3 to 1/2 day every couple of days or so.
Keep in mind it was Xmas when I was trying to get in to the clinic well they had no open slots until after the first of the year it was 9 days without anything before I could get in (9 very rough days) but when I did get in I had it in my head I'm not going thru this hell again nor did I want to switch one narcotic for another so that's why I stuck to the tapering down my use of the suboxone, as the others said on here about the suboxone destroying their endorphins I was unaware of that and it would have really made a difference on my choice had I known but what's done is done and I dont think the short period I did take they could have done much.
I've got two full blown herniated disc in my back and at times it nearly cripples me and I think about taking something for it but I really don't want to fall back into the old routine, and I would if I had a large amount of pills to take over a extended period I know I'd want more and would get them.
I'm rambling on now so I'll stop but I hope my story helps someone and the moral of my post was Im pretty sure the suboxone saved me but it could be a demon in disguise if I'd taken another route with it just as john said.
