I'm in fort myers - but have traveled to naples and north fort to fill oxy 30mg... and no one has anything and my dad just sighs and tells me not to worry... but i hate to see him all seized up from pain!!!

I'm new to fort myers and live in Cape Coral. My old doc was giving me norco 10/325 for sciatic pain and .25 Xanax for anxiety. I don't have insurance yet and really need to find a doc that takes cash and is understanding. I will travel too.

Issue is I went to one doctor and he gave me tramadol and a dirty look. Legit pain. Used to take Vicoden 7.5. Worked great. please email me on a good dr or good source. {edited for privacy}

Had a disecectomy on my L4,L5 and a 9mm herniated disc on my L5,S1. Currently moved from Houston to Cape Coral/Fort Myers area. I've been prescribed 20 and 30mg oxy for about 2 years now because of the pain wince I cannot sit in class without it for more then 15minutes. Are there any legit pain doctors around that area that I can start seeing? I have my MRIs and all the paperwork so it's not like I'm a drugseeker, I just don't want yo be in pain while finishing school up.

PLEASE HELP ME , I live in ft. Myers and my drs name is Dr. Davilla . I know that somebody has to know of a pharmacy that isn't charging 10 dollars a pill. I do not have insurance and im in chronic pain everyday , im so depressed over this because I get 120 and with the 200 office visit it equals 1,450.00 a month with what the pharmacy charges. So basically im in poverty barley making it by. Please help me by telling me of a pharmacy that is more reasonable in their pricing. Where I can get a grip of my depression from being constantly broke and living in darkness and hopefully lighting things up by just being able to get by. Yes there are pharmacies in ft myers , in down town ft myers its called sunrise pharmacy , located on the corner of US41 and Edison Rd. They will fill anything you have . Oxycodone 30mg to diludin to morphine. .. good luck

My Doctor in Sarasota,Fl Retired and Now I'm having so much trouble finding a Real Doctor that will prescribe me 30mg Oxycodones I'm permanently Disable & I'm legit with my Pain!!! Does anybody know of any Doctors that can help in the Sarasota,Bradenton,Venice or any of the surrounding areas? I would so appreciate it :)

After almost 2 weeks of searching for a pharmacy to fill my script, I finally found a pharmacy - Cypress Pharmacy that would fill it. They are awesome and have a very nice store. I was in and out in less than 5 mins and the staff was wonderful! I did discover that Walgreens pick and choose who THEY feel should get their medication or not. At every Walgreens I stopped at, they all gave me a different reason why they could not fill it. One Walgreens said I needed to have my address match my prescription, so I went and renewed my license with correct address, etc. Still no luck. Another Walgreens said they would fill it if I passed their "Protection for filling narcotics evaluation"??!! I asked what that was and was told they could not release that information. I waited an hour 1/2 after the pharmacist stated I should not have a problem. Again, I was rejected! Now I've never been in trouble in any way with narcotics or filling them. I again asked why I was denied and that information could not be released either! So Walgreens not only evaluated me for something they couldn't tell me what it was they were looking for, they also would not disclose why I was rejected??!! How can they get away with this??
Walgreens should not have the authority to decide if a person is worthy enough to get relief from pain, or what a dr. prescribes you.! The very last stop at my last attempt to fill it was another Walgreens. Desperation will drive you to do stupid things. :) I was informed that they would not fill my prescription since I had been at other Walgreens trying to fill a prescription at multiple pharmacies! Due to exhaustion and in more pain then when I started to try and get relief from the pain, I lost it. The pharmacists yelled at me that he could lose his job if he filled my script??!! Florida's Motto should be "Sorry I can't help you", and everyone says this with a smile on their face! Almost like they're proud they can't and don't have to do a damn thing. I will NEVER step foot in another Walgreens and am pulling my other prescriptions from CVS as they were the king of "I can't help also". This entire situation put such a bad taste in my mouth in regards to Florida that I am leaving this weekend and heading back North. I've never experienced anything like this and don't ever want to go through it again. If you must stay and live here I would highly recommend the small private chains. They were the only ones who apologized for not having that certain medication in stock and did not treat me as a drug addict looking for a fix. As far as Walgreens and CVS, something needs to be done, they should not be allowed to pick and choose. Good luck in Florida, I'm out of here!

I have been to 12 pharmacies in fort Myers not only didn't have my long acting they all so far don't have simple 10/325 mg hydrocodone I wait my 30 days I am cpliant with my meds I not understand how I will work ? I was up for promotion tomm /Monday and now will have to miss work I don't want to be in pain and now dreading what I'm going to go thru without any of them ... Please help
