Opana Overview

Oxymorphone (Opana, Numorphan, Numorphone) or 14-Hydroxydihydromorphinone is a powerful semi-synthetic opioid analgesic (painkiller) first developed in Germany in 1914,[2] patented in the USA by Endo Pharmaceuticals in 1955[3] and introduced to the United States market in January 1959 and other countries around the same time.[1] The brand name Numorphan is derived by analogy to the Nucodan name for an oxycodone product (or vice versa) as well as Paramorphan/Paramorfan for dihydromorphine and ...

I am looking for the name of manufacture of these cresent moon opana 40 mg ER,And anything anyone can give me for a discount on these they are so exspensive. ## Hello, DJ! How are you? That logo is used by Actavis Pharmaceuticals. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Most pages of this site offer a pharmacy discount card, it is free and can usually be found towards the lower right of each page. Just click the link, put in your email address, print it out and take it to your pharmacy with your next prescription. Is there anything else I can help with?

I accidentally took 3 10 mg oxymorphone or in the same hour. Will it hurt me ## No .relax. your fine.you wont die. Stay hydrated ## How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Any time you're worried about a possible overdose, you should call poison control, or go to your nearest emergency department. While such a dosage may be okay for some, if someone isn't tolerant to opiates, it could result in a dangerous overdose. The FDA lists overdose symptoms as possibly including nausea, dizziness, severe drowsiness, vomiting and shallow breathing.

They act like their scared to death to write a script here and although I live close to Louisiana they don't take Mississippi medicaid. This is no quality of life and there are supposed to be laws about the right to treatment of pain,YEAH RIGHT not here. Please help if anyone knows of pain clinic that takes medicaidhere who give pain meds or one in my area in Louisiana that takes MS medicaid. ## Hello, Gwen! What Is The Difference In Opana And Morphine
14 Replies RSS
just wanted to know if there is a difference between the 2. I am perscribed morphine sulfate er 15 mg twice daily. My neck has been operated on a few times so i have severe pain daily. I forgot my pills at home over the weekend. My mother is perscribed Opana 10mg. She gave me one and it seemed to work better. Wanted to know if there is a difference between the 2. I am not sure how to go about asking my dr to switch me. Don't want her to freak about my mom giving me one of hers... ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and it is actually stronger than Morphine. So, the one 10mg tablet that you took was actually equal to taking 30mgs of the Morphine, at once. They are both narcotics, so the side effect profile is similar and can include: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and ...

Have had three back surgeries and surgeon won't prescribe anymore and I'm in tremendous pain. SSI keeps denying for last 3 years so I have no insurance. Need a affordable Dr asap please if anyone can help. Thank you ## Hello, Janie! How are you? Yes, unfortunately due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, your surgeon can only prescribe for a limited period of time. If you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist….the problem here is that they are going to be reluctant to prescribe you anything and, if they do, pharmacies won't want to fill it, since you don't have insurance. Cash payment makes it easier for someone to doctor and pharmacy hop. Do you currently have a PCP that you s...

Pain Relief for neuropathy

Hello, I have chronic pain in my feet, legs and hands from neuropathy (nerve pain). I have taken all the normally prescribed Rx for this pain. I started going to a Pain Management Dr. trying to find relief. Has any one used Opana Er for this type of pain and got good results? I am at my wits end and need some relief just so I can do normal things around the the house. ## Opana is a very potent narcotic analgesic, so it has successfully helped many people with various types of pain. As listed by the FDA, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, only your doctor can help you decide what would be best for you to try next. Are you seeing a pain management specialist?

I have been prescribe opana for over a year now and the dog carried off my months prescription and buried it. The Dr. Said he can't help me! I need some in a bad way ! Please help ## The DEA will block it even if he wants to give you the prescription. However you can get (I take instant so I'm going to make up the mgs for the example) a prescription for 100 20Mgs if you get 50 40mgs and take 2. But likely he will not write you this. Next you can ask for something called withdrawal patches. Doesn't mean you're an addict, you can still have withdrawals. If you have chest pains or shortness of breath for seemingly no reason call 911. Stop any meds especially narcotics cold turkey (albeit not by choice) is extremely dangerous. So monitor yourself. You may be ok. You may have...

Generic Opana ER
69 Replies RSS
Wanted to share with everyone how happy I am to have finally received the new generic Opana ER 20mg tablets from my pharmacy. I had found Opana to be very effective for my chronic pain and was very sad when they switched it over to the new formula as it wasn't nearly effective as the original octagon shaped tablets and caused stomach aches. These new generic ones seem to me to be as effective as the original formula had been. The tablets I received show to be made by Global Pharmaceuticals and are a small, round, green tablet with G73 imprinted on them. I'm happy to report that these are just like the original formula. Now I no longer have stomach aches from taking those plastic pills that Endo is selling. I sure do hope that these remain as they are, but I have read a couple ar...

opana ir 10mg availability

Can't find a pharmacy in my area of California that can order opana ir 10mg by Roxanne. They tell me they are unavailable. Does anyone know why? ## The pharmacy is lying to you. Yes they do this more frequently than people realize. I am on the exact same medication (generic Opana IR 10mg by Roxane), and fill it monthly. They are available. There is no shortage. Your pharmacy is chosing not to fill it for any number of reasons. (For example They may have reached their alloted amount, or they suspect abuse, or they dont want to pay the exact amount for Roxane as the Teva 10mg are cheaper, or etc etc etc). My suggestion is to get any and all facts from the manufacturer customer service, then present your case to the PHARMACIST, not the pharmacy techs. Ask them what the REAL reason why ...
