I have tried Subutex for 4 month, it does not help my stomach pain and getting worse. I can't enjoy life or my new daughter and it's affecting job as well. I was told it helped someone else but it doesn't for me. I moved back to my home town and now can go back to my Dr. I would like to see them again and get back on something for the pain I would like to at least enjoy life - I know it's not gonna fix it but at least allow me to function and live a little better. I'm afraid to ask the Dr. about Opana 5 ER. I have talked to some people with my problem and they said it has saved them. I've done a lot of research it's the smallest size. I would just like my doctor to let me try it out, so what can I tell them?

They are saying that the new opana works as well as the old. There are so many peoples statements that I have read saying the new don't work as well but yet Endo states their research don't prove that. All people who have a real medical problem that causes pain and takes new opana and it doesn' work as well as the old needs to speak up. One person can't change anything. People who are being treated awful by medical doctors and pain clinics because they have pain also need to speak up. ## I am very sorry that people are suffering due to the medication changes. The new formulation does work well for many people, but there are always those will have problems and will need to switch to something else. Learn more Opana details here. My doctor prescribed it today for back and shoulder injury. Walmart and CVS doesn't have it and Walgreens won't give me the info over the phone. ## Hi, Sonja! What is your general location? It's very hard for someone to suggest a pharmacy that may have them in stock, without any idea where you are. Can you please post back with more details, such as the nearest large city? Thanks! ## Sonja---hope this info will help you now or in the future. I have done this twice with some success. Email the manufacture by going to their website endo.com/contact and filling out the information. I provided the prescription info such as Opana ER 40mg 60 tabs and Opana ER 20 mg 120 tabs etc, then I gave my city and zip code along with my name and phone number and asked them to locate stock for...

Are there any tricks to get the insurance company to authorize opana when the 2 other medications that they cover are giving me way to many debilitating side effects . My pain doc switched me to opana or OxyContin so I'd get pain relief without sedation, itching , rashes and vomiting . I've tried OxyContin and I had none of those side effects. My doctor just sent in the letter of medical necessity and if it gets denied I'd like to know what are things that they look for specifically and things they consider there to be cause to approve the request and authorize it? The doc told me he only wrote two Med codes bc the form only had space for that . Uuggghhh- that frustrated me bc I just had surg and I really wanted this to go through and FAST !! Now I'm wondering if it's n

Opana - Is it really Non-Addictive?
19 Replies RSS
If Opana was designed to be non-addictive, how did my granddaughter become addicted to it; or did she? She is now in jail and says this is the drug she has been taking and paying $40.00 a pill for. ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and I'm not aware of anything stating it was designed to be non-addictive, the possibility of being habit forming and abused is actually prominently warned about it the drug information monographs about it. It is an opiate narcotic, therefore, it carries the same addictive risk as all the others do, such as Oxycodone and Morphine. More details: Are there any other questions? ## OPANA IS ADDICTIVE IT IS HYDROMORPHONE. IT HAS THE SAME THING IN IT AS DILAUDID IT'S NOT EXCATLY THE SAME BUT CLOSE THEY BOTH HAVE HYDROMORPHONE IN THEM CALL ...

Please HELP me. Doctor has changed my medication
3 Replies RSS
This last time my doctor changed my pain meds from Opana 10mg every 8 hr. and oxycontin 20mg twice a day TO Opana ER 15mg every 12 hours and Dilaudid 4mg every six hours I was crying and pretty hopeless with diabetic neuropathy in legs and arms, severe trigger fingers, hip pain, and my knees about to blow off with pain. I also have fibromyalgia. This doctor says that they will get in trouble if they change any of my meds. I said I'd rather just not be here living if I have to suffer like this. Hubby has dropped my bed from an extremely high bed to being on the floor (which has helped my hips). I dip my hands in scalding hot wax just to divert from the trigger finger pain. I use tubes of Bengay every two months. I no longer fix my hair b/c the tendon in my right shoulder is shredded ...
