I was previously prescribed a pin 20 mg Amphetamine Salts 20 MG pill that helped me to stay awake and focus since I have narcolepsy. Now I have an orange pill that has an eliptical moon shape with the number 26 that is in a bottle labeled Amphetamine Salts 20 MG but it makes me sleepy. Did the pharmacist make a mistake and give the wrong pill to me? ## Hello, Anna! How are you? No, this is the correct medication, it contains 20mgs of mixed Amphetamine salts, so no pharmacy error. Not all generics work for everyone that tries them, though, due to the fact that there can be some slight fluctuations in the active ingredient. Another alternative is that you may just have become tolerant to this dosage and need it to be adjusted. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness,...

Found a small orange round pill with a V on one side and 20 on the other. Cannot find it on any pill ID site. Any help? ## Hi Catt, Quick question for you... is the "V" on your pill in a cursive-like font or is it kind of closed off like a triangle shape? Only asking because I did find a couple of round orange pills with those particular markings I described; one of them also having a "20" on one side. If you can find that out, I may be able to at least determine who the manufacturer is, and hopefully we can take it from there. Before getting into the details I want to state that it is never advisable to administer medication in a way that is not instructed. Getting to the point, because our stomachs are acidic the capsules have a very strong base to ensure your stomach does not destroy the active ingredients in the medicine to perform their function. The base used in this gel pill has a "burning" sensation that should subside over time with no permanent damage. I very strongly advise ...
