over the last 15 years i have had tinnitas coming on it is now getting worse hard to sleep .doctor gave me enantyum does not seem to help is there anything else i can take to help me to sleep and ease the noise in the head ## Emantyum contains the active ingredient Dexketoprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Thus, it would only help if there was some sort of swelling or inflammation causing your problem. Did you doctor say what's causing it? Without knowing what's causing it, it is very difficult for anyone to make any suggestions on what else may help, especially since this site doesn't know where you are located. had stomach ulcers maybe 15 years ago will it be ok if i take omeprazol for protection to my stomach & taking enantyum ? ## Enantyum contains the active ingredient Ketoprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions, such as heartburn, GERD and ulcers. There are no interactions listed between the two, but you may want to check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. However, many doctors prescribe these types of stomach medications right along with NSAIDs, when someone has a prior history of gastric issues, to prevent the damage that the NSAIDs can cause.
