I really don't know where else to go and this site has always been a big help. I was born missing 7 adult teeth and of course most are front teeth, I unfortunately can't work anymore due to my health conditions. I'm just at a loss of what to do... Smiling is not an option for me, even though I honestly have nothing to smile for anymore. After not having any kind of insurance for 10 years and not seeing 1 dentist in that time, I finally got coverage from the government program I'm on. The problem is, they only cover 1 cavity a month, or one tooth extraction a month. I'm so past the point of just getting a cavity fixed.. My teeth are broken and falling apart. I've had to go ahead and get teeth pulled because I couldn't afford to get them fixed. Baby teeth shoul...

I cannot find Campho-phenique Pain Relieving Antiseptic Liquid except on Amazon that cost way too much. I use to be able to just purchase it in the drugstore. Cannot find it in the local store or online. Do you know where it can get it at? Has it been discontinued? Why is it no longer available? Thank you. ## Walgreens Instant Antiseptic Pain Relief First Aid Liquid 1.5 fluid ounces, has the very same active ingredients as the campho phenique. 10.8% camphor and phenol 4.7%. Inactive ingredients are eucalyptus oil, and light mineral oil. The Walgreens antiseptic has two added ingredients that are very beneficial, citric acid, which is natural occurring acid that is found in large quanties in fruit and tocopherol (vitamin E). Hope this is helpful information. I personally think that the W...

The pill I have is peach and imprinted with g/32 500. I just want to know, since it's a pain pill, will it help with the pain in my gums? ## Hello, Sista! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem you are experiencing. This tablet is manufactured by Glenmark Generics and they list it as containing 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. I have a small growth attached to the back of my tongue that has a yellow mass growing on it. What could be the cause? And is there a name for it? ## Hello, Annie! How are you? According to NIH recommendations, it would be best for you to consult your doctor and have it checked out. That is something you should do any time you experience some type of growth, or any symptom that is more severe than usual, or totally new for you. Has there been any change? How large is the mass? Are you on any medications?

I have small blisters on top and to the back of my tongue. They are getting more sore and I have had this for approximately 3 weeks. Just within the last few days it has gotten very sore. What causes this? ## Only your doctor, or dentist can give you a definitive answer, but the NIH lists such issues as possibly being due to inflamed taste buds. They can be caused by various medications, as well as acidic foods, or beverages. Additionally it could be due to burning your tongue, or canker sores. What does your usual diet consist of? where would we be able to purchase the miracle mouthwash ? We have a dental patient that could benefit from this mouthwash. Please respond. Thank you. ## These are usually regional products, meaning the formula can vary from area to area and there is no set one that is universal throughout the U.S. The way it usually works is that the local pharmacist know what is commonly used in them and a doctor, or dentist writes a prescription for it, so it does need a prescription and must be purchased from a pharmacy. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have recently been prescribed by my doctor a prescription for miracle mouthwash due to blister pockets and sores due to my lupus and it was very easily filled at Rite Aid pharmacy Hope this helps

Regarding Galocipro and Clorex, I'm not seeing either of these even listed as a medication or dietary supplement.. so I don't know if the spelling is wrong or if it may be some type of foreign product... I am prescribed peridex for oral use. While traveling in Italy, I ran out of the liquid. Visiting a pharmacy, I obtained chlorhexidine gel. Name: Plax-Gel. This product is so much more effective, twice the strength, and it travels well as compared to the liquid. Product of Switzerland and Italy. It does not seem to be available in the USA. Anyone know about its availability? Anywhere? ## Hello, Kate! How are you? You are correct, it doesn't appear that the gel is available in the U.S., I'm sorry. Thus, obtaining it elsewhere for import would be considered illegal. The FDA classifies this as an antimicrobial. Why has Bayer Inc stopped making Campho-Phenique??? Is it really a health hazard that Bayer is hiding??? ## My mom is a pharmacist and she said that the FDA has made Bayer stop producing this drug for now because it was unregulated and it's claims were not substantiated or something to that effect. Basically it was old and worked really good and the gov decided to halt it because it was too old and not under the same regulations as modern stuff. It's safety was not documented. Maybe they can put it out again later. ## Probably too inexpensive and worked better than new stuff. Love that stuff, and used to be cheap for people on a tight budget. Can't let anything cut into the bottom line.

The most amazing medicine I've ever used for canker sores is called Debacterol. It is a black liquid that seals the sore and speeds the healing. It stops the pain immediately, and you can get it at focusedrx. You need a prescription but they'll fax your doctor for you and you'll never have pain again! ## Hi, Elizabeth! What a great thing for you to post and share with others! Another product that was approved by the FDA to help treat them and shorten their duration, but never marketed for it is Benzalkonium Chloride, aka Bactine! I've heard that it can make your tonsils go numb... Rx #: 261758 Does anyone have more information about it? ## Miracle Mouthwash contains: Dexamethasone, Diphenhydramine, Nystatin, Tetracycline ## Miracle Mouthwash is actually just the name for a group of products that are regional and they may contain different ingredients, depending on what it is most commonly used to treat in any given area, or what a specific doctor asks that it contain. So, some might contain what Sal listed, but not all in every area will be identical. If you really want to know the specific ingredients and information on a product such as this, then you should ask the dispensing pharmacist.
