white oblong pill apo 083 ## i found one of these pills in my sons room... what is it and should i be worried? ## Well it is definitely not Demerol or Phen like the title of the original post says, this is Paroxetine 20mgs, a generic for the antidepressant Paxil. There aren't many other uses for this, and it is a prescription only medicine, so if you son has it and it is not prescribed for him, the question is where did he get it, and what did he think it was?

round white pill 20 mg- what should teh imprint code look like? ## Well, since this is a generic for the antidepressant Paxil, there are many companies that make it and all of their imprint codes will be different. This means there is no possible way that I could post all of them. Some are: PAXIL 20, this would be the name brand. 93 7115 ZC 16 N2 M APO 083 par877 P2 G C 56 422 POT 20 And this, of course, is not a comprehensive list. Do any of these match your tablets? If not, please post the imprint and I will gladly look it up for you. ## Thank you! The imprint is CZ16. I was just a little paranoid because the shape of the pill was different this time and when it arrived by mail the tablets had fallen out of the container and were loose in the packaging. Anyway, now I can rest easy. Th...

I stopped because of stomach pain from the chinese manu that seemed to win all the local contracts. High A1C as a result of these games. ## To clear up some things asked about or mentioned in these posts… No, it is not safe to cut any tablet that is time released, as denoted by the ER in the first post. Doing say may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once, which could lead to overdose. However, the tablet made by Teva with the 93 48 marking is not a time release...

Teva lists this tablet as containing 1mg of Clonazepam, which is a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. I am looking for tablets. The powder taste terrible!!! ## Have you tried asking your local pharmacy about other alternatives? From what I was able to gather, there are tablets forms that come in the following doses (see below): Aspirin, ASA + Caffeine + Salicylamide - • Powder for Reconstitution: 650mg + 32mg + 195mg, 742mg + 36mg + 222mg • Tablet: 262.5;32.5mg;mg;mg + 262.5;32.5mg;mg;mg, 325mg + 16mg + 95mg Note: Above list includes dosages for all drugs with the same combination of active ingredients. I apologize for the somewhat confusing layout of the doses, but you can at least be certain that there is a tablet form available that you can ask your doctor or pharmacy about when filling your prescription. I hope this helps!

My pharmacist changed my generic Ramipril manufacturer and told me it was Watson. He claimed it was the "best" and had a great reputation. I found 2 other listings, never Watson. Is this just the same old line when it's really the pharmacy's bottom line? ## There's really no telling who the manufacturer is unless you're able to provide a pill imprint and description to look up. Listed below are the Ramipril manufacturers I personally came across after looking at various pills, but it may not be all of them (I have yet to see Watson as well): Cobalt Laboratories Inc Roxane Laboratories, Inc. Apotex Corp. Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Dava Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc. InvaGen...

This question is about the effect of peroxynitrite on cell death. Increasing PN production, decreases NO production (NO is scavenged in the process of creating ONOO-). However, the concern/thing that we didn’t understand was why PN doesn’t instantly kill cells since it’s a more potent radical. Sure, you decrease NO, so maybe you get less death that way, but you’re replacing it with something that seems like it would be even worse. So, why do you at least initially get less cell death? ## Interesting observation here. Perhaps the naturally occuring presence and activities of antioxidant enzymes and their roles in PN-induced cell death (both apoptotic and necrotic), is a major determining factor of its cardiotoxic...
