Some twelve months ago I began to have uncomfortable heart arrhythmias. My heart would go into a slow irregular heart beat. After having nuclear stress testing done to check for coronary artery blockage nothing was found. I did my own research and eventually learned that my high blood pressure medicine at the time, Mycardis, was the culprit. I searched a long while before finding this info as a possible side affect to this med. One lesson I learned here is that even though you may have been taking your med for many months, negative side affects are still a reality given time.

I have been taking Nuzak for 4 years, but I feel very tired no matter how much I sleep. I have also gained about 15kg. Can this be the nuzak? ## Hello, Maria! How are you? Sorry about the problems that you're having. Nuzak contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, which is an SSRI antidepressant and they can cause REM sleep latency, so you don't enter the REM state as fast, or stay in it as long as normal, that's usually what causes the tired feeling. feet are swelling and dizzieness. been on it since Friday past. But now my bm are finally normal since Feb. that in itself is a big plus. ## Have you contacted your doctor? The dizziness can be a normal side effect, however, the swelling in your feet does need to be checked out, as it could signify a health problem and only your doctor will be able to discover if it is a problem, or not.

I have been told i have a mild irregular heart beat and leakage. I have been give this medicine for the treatment of a bone spur in my neck. I am a little concern about the side affects to the heart. ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? I would suggest checking with your cardiologist, before taking it, to be safe. It doesn't usually cause as many cardiac related side effects as other steroids, but much of it really depends on your overall health, average heart rate and etc. Are you on any other medications?

MY son, cousins and I were started on this medication from the cardiologists and primary doctors. We both had awful side affects with this medication. Each time when telling the doctors of the side effects the doctors wanted to continue to prescribe this medication. Extremely fatique, diarrhea, terrible chest pain, shortness of breath, excessive abdominal swelling, ecessive water retention, edema. Constant pain from legs and ankles swollen so bad that causes pain all the time making it almost impossible to stand, sit or walk. I am using Nexiam 40 g for 10 days now. No more heartburn but I still have a hollow feeling on my stomach and now also uncomfortable feeling over my chest. ## It is kind of hard for me to guess as exactly what you mean by these descriptions. Are you speaking of chest pain? Stomach pain or something else? Common side effects can include: nausea, gas, diarrhea and abdominal pain. It is not really chest pains that I'm having, more like an anxiety feeling and also heart palpitation. This started after the 3rd or 4th day of taking the tablets.

ive been on sotalol since may of 2011 and my calfs and feet are numb or there just plane tired all the time. it bothers me to walk. i had an ablation of the heart in may. sotalol has improved my heart but my legs and pads of my feet hurt ## Are they swollen at all, or just hurting? The reason I am asking is that there is some risk of developing congestive heart failure while taking this medication and that would start with peripheral edema, in most cases. I am 41 year old female and had a P.E in Nov 2014 and moved from 15g x2 onto 20g once daily until now. didn't experience anything until 3 weeks ago when I was weaning off my anti depressants. i literally couldn't weight bare without falling over, pick up anything, or drive. began gaining weight at a considerable rate.Overnight becoming totally incapacitated. I have been on Lexapro for a year and a half now 10 mg...I was wondering if anybody has had the side affect of weight gain I have gained 40 lb. since I have been on it..the strange thing is I don't do any binge eating or over eat due to my acid reflux...next doctors appointment I am going to ask to be put down to 5mg...it's so hard to go on the treadmill when you don't have any energy or will power..my anxiety is under control its my depression that gets me down and I just feel like sleeping all day..?? ## Some people have reported weight gain as a side effect and the FDA does not it among the possible ones, though it is not very common. No, neither of those are listed as being known side effects. Its typical ones, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include headache, rash, upset stomach and discoloration of urine. Are you also on an antibiotic? There are some of them that can cause discoloration of your teeth and the UTI itself might be causing the chills you're experiencing.

Doc has me trying Daliresp, haven't started taking it yet cause I am scared of all the side affects. Should I be worried? I read all the side affects and it scares the hell out out of me. Okay, I've been taking 30mg of Accutane for almost a year now. I'm very pleased with the results. I used to have very oily hair and skin that led to severe acne on my face. No matter what I did, nothing helped until I started using Accutane. I am fully aware that this is a serious drug, and is the last resort for acne problems. Son has Hip C and needs treatment. He is also on Subutex (3 per day) . At night, he seems to become off balance and experiences confusion. Is this a normal side affect? ## Hello, Grace!
