Am in a quandary. A friend has asked me to get him Levocal, which Im in the process of doing. He already takes half a pill (.5 of 250 mg) a day, but wants more. He has Parkinsons. Am totally unaware if he has thyroid problems. I just dont want to risk doing him any harm. Any suggestions? Opinions? (Taking a whole pill is out of the question for administrative reasons I wont go into). No spam, please. I never read it.

I noticed that since taking the levothyroid I am more depressed, does this drug have that effect, do my other drugs interfer...thanks ## The only relevant warning I can find is that it SHOULD not be taken with Lithium, so that could be having an effect and you should consult your doctor. Does anyone else have any experience with this? ## Taking lithium causes hypothyroidism. You have to take thyroid meds(levothyroid) the rest of your life…not sure about lithium? all things to discuss with your dr. find a Dr. who knows all about thyroid and your lithium

I have been advised to take levotiz for sore throat ## Levotiz contains the active ingredient Levocetirizine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies and, as such, it's not going to do much for a sore throat, unless it's been caused by allergies that have caused nasal drip that irritated the throat.
