Percocet Dosage Limits 5/325

I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower. My MD cannot get me into a specialist until August, but I am having real stress here. Will it be harmful for me to take more than the one tablet per 8 hours??

My bottle says 1 every 12 hours was in car accident and the pain is sometimes worse then other days so I wanted to take another I took 1 4 he's ago 5/325

I've read all the comments. I take the 5/325 Endocet a morning and at night with maybe one in between if needed. Is that same as percocet? Mine is a hip issue and lower back. If it is the same, is that safe or addictive? Also, what is a Tylenol overdose and the symptoms? Besides liver damage, why is it dangerous?

I made a mistake today and took two percocet 5/325 blue pills for chronic pain after my 2 surgeries. Am I at risk of an overdose?

I am having the same problems. But my doctor won't prescribe me what I need. I'm the same anti inflammitories, anti depressants, I've tried lyrica and cymbalta. None of it works. Only the narcotics ease the pain. Fibro is terrible. I have had it since I was 17

Pastor Doctor to go from 5-325 to 10-325 as far as the Percocet strengths you will get greater relief from the stronger Percocet good luck

I agree 100% with your opinion. I also would rather be addicted than in severe pain . I have stopped several times but I would rather be addicted than in severe pain . I have had injections but relief was for about 3 months . My doctor wrote prescription for 1 every 12 hours so I run out before the 30 day prescription can be refilled . That sucks . Politician and lawmakers don't get it . Wish they were in severe pain and they may see things differently . The do not understand !

Daisy, you need to see a doctor ASAP. The amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) you ingested could cause severe health problems in the future.

2 nights ago, I overdosed on 90mg of percocet , but never received medical attention.. My breathing is still real shallow feeling, will i get over this?

Jen, sorry you have so much pain. Keep your acetaminophen under 3000 mg in 24 hours. 4000 is the absolute limit, but I wouldn't go there. Are you a candidate for surgery for any of those issues?

No, 2 grams is generally the goal. 4 is the limit.

I feel the same way I had an MRI Monday due to severe back pain with sharp pain running down right leg & right foot isalso numb I was prescribed 1 325 mg every 4 hrs.this morning I got up the pain was so horrible I almost could not use the bath room i took 2 pills instead of 1 hopefully it won't hurt me but I've never felt pain like this.I see him Monday do they have stronger dosage of Percocet so I don't have to go over the perscribed limit

Those 512 tablets really suck! They don't wor as well as the endocet tablets. You have to look for witch pharmacy has them. Once you find them you'll notice a huge difference. Trust me...

im on 5/325 really worrie bc i also suffer from anixity if i take one at one time then take one 3 hrs later could that harm me

I seen the 1 tablet per 8 hour comment above also. And everyone else's post said 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. I recently just had surgery "ovarian drilling" and I was perscribed Percocet 5-325 1 every 6 Hours. I can take one and I can feel it kick in but not enough to manage pain. I'm barely about to walk to the bathroom. If I waited an hour or so do you think it would be okay if I took another. Not every time just as needed to ease the pain

Very helpful. I've been on oxycodone for a yr and a half.5-325. The doc says 3 a day. That don't work. I have to take 2 every six hours. Now he busting me down to 2 a day. I'm going to catch hell. My guess is 10-325 would have worked with the 3 a day

I have had 2 Uretha surgeries.. Percocet does not help me.. Doctors are too scared to help me with the right pain medications..It has caused me not to enjoy life in anyway..

Tell your doctor if he will precribed you 10/325 percocets instead of the 5/325's.

No! You can take more than one percocet every 8 hours. If your hurting that bad,but just know that your going to run out of your percocet faster by doing that!.. and your doctor will not be happy at all with you.If you do deside too do that. Just be very careful your on a very slippy slop...

colorado is now legal and i think one or two more state. but i know a lot of states now have medical pot so i would check with your dr. i am sure it would be better for you then anything the drug companies are putting out there.
