Is It Possible To Snort The New Op 80s? (Page 2) (Top voted first)

i have been prescribed to OC 80's for 6 years now for my debilitating pain. i started taking them intranasally about a year back when i learned that it works much faster and better. i'm currently up to 4 a 5 a day. yesterday i got my script filled to learn that they had come out w/a new generic replacement that has OP on the side that used to say OC. i've tried everything in my power and nothing seems to work. taking these pills orally does NOTHING for me except make me feel tired and sick to my stomach and i had to stay home from work today because of this. i know there has to be a way to take these new generic pills and separate the plastic from the oxycodone, but have yet to learn what that way is. {edited for safety}

i figured it out microvvvvvvvvwave just puts every thing together. the best way is to get it wet and set around and pull it off. there is a thick gel coating on them and i can,t take it it just makes me sick, after you get most of it off you can grind it some then freeze it. there is a small pill in the middle. after froven at least 2 hrs. you can grind to the origanal powder. it takes more though. just like swallowing them whole dose. i can,t get them down they make me have bad headaces and stomack pain. once you wet over and over and pull the plastic it will shock you how much is on there that is why they are bigger. i,m not a dr. but it doesn,t take a geinus to see once you take it down to that small hard pill. it takes alot to get the same pain relief but if they make you sick it,s the only way till you can get something else. i am a true pain patient and i took these normal now they don,t work. of couurce if you microwave them you are just melting everything togeter. there is a huge gell coating like i said it does go down to a solid pill but the stuff is woven through the small pill to. that is why you have to freeze it. silly girl is silly and taking a lot of people down the wrong path.

lotapain i think u are wrong about that. it's not covered in a big gel coating, the gel is actually woven through out it. so by completely eliminating the outer coating, you are losing some of the oxycodone which is also why you probly are finding that you need more to feel it. on the contrary, i find this way to actually be stronger than normal, my theory being that they had to put a lil more in then to make up for the gel, although i'm now realizing how silly that sounds, lol, but like i said, it's just a theory.

to stevemar- take a chill pill, yo. don't get all worked up over a blog w/people trying to HELP each other. judging by the fact that you don't know when to use your shift key correctly, nor do you know anything about proper grammar, i'm not going to waste my time w/you anymore. you're obviously a miserable person and don't need my help to make it any worse. best of luck to ya! :)

i'm not sure why you all think there is still a coating on the op's. the coating isn't neccessary w/the gel woven throughout the pill. you can all hate on me all you want. i found a way that works. it does turn into gel sometimes, but you just have to chop it up as much as possible.

hey everyone, I am a cronic pain patient for over 5 years. I get 80 oc's, sorry I mean 80 op's, and I have been snorting them for 2 years now, I was totally bummed out till yesterday when my friend told me to take another pill, he used a vicodin, his friend uses his roxicodone 30's, I actually used my Lyrica because all my roxi's that I get for breakthrough pain where gone, all you do is grind down pill, I use a Ped-Egg and it work great to grind to powder and then grind the other pill that you use and mix in well with oc, then snort away, you will get a little gel but its nothing like the giant gel balls that come out with the new oc's.

I found this pill in my sisters car. She was track star and a student at UVA on the deans list. Since her addiction she has dropped out of school and has no job and loser friends. She likes to spend most of her time on the sofa sleeping. Then about every four days she is extremely sick until she gets her next fix. It breaks my heart to literally waste away to nothing. She has lost at least 40 pounds it's gross. So I personally think this is a brilliant idea which should have been invited from the getgo. However in your defense I've never taken any other pain medication besides Tylenol advil and asprin. I still highly doubt it's worth giving up your life for. My point is I miss mr sister, she was my role model. So I'm asking you the other addicted will I ever get her back or is she gone into the world of sleeping druggie forever? Because I still have hope in her my parents don't but I do. I am 13 years and my parents say she's never coming back and that don't understand bc I'm too young is this true?

Okay, first of all, just because someone is addicted to pills doesn't mean they don't have any pain problems. I was diagnosed with something called RND (Reflex Neurovascular Distrophy) when I was 11. RND is basically 10 diseases, that they put in one name, including Fibromyalgya, and Lupas. So I am constantly, constantly, in pain, and I do take painkillers. I take oxycodone, but when I run out of those I take oxy's. I snort them, because taking them orally doen't work for me. And just recently I got the new OP's, and I was wondering if, and how you can snort them, so I looked it up and I found this site. I was thinking about peeling the time release off and then just grinding it and snorting it. (Hose clamps work the best when it comes to crushing or grinding.) But then I saw the whole microwave thing and tried it, and it worked. But you have to remember, everyone is different, and your body may not react the same way as some others. So don't go judging people because they take their meds different ways then you do. And make sure some ways to snort, smoke, or swallow, absolutely don't work for you before you go and say it doesn't and that it's b.s.

I FIGURED IT OUT! I read the posts about cooking, freezing, hammering... I wasn't about to cook this pill in the microwave... I'd feel ridiculous! lol, so just as I was about to say forget it & swallow the dang pill, I tried the Pedi Paw & it worked! The op filed down to a Very Fine Powder :) in about 1 minute, I tried a small bit to see if I needed to mix it w/ another pill as someone else had mentioned, and that's not necessary either. It did not gel, not at all... it tastes the same, feels the same ;) or maybe better (the better could just be the sense of accomplishment I feel, lol) Dunno what they'll try next, but we'll figure a way around it too! ;) It took the same amount of time as it did to scratch the coating off & crush the oc. & it turned into much more powder. The coating filed fine also & mixed w/ the pill, couldn't tell it was there. Definitely try this before you put your apron on!

the new oxy's are a new formula so you are unable to crush them. I used to crush so I could snort then discovered a better way and not in vains no but these damn new pills are impossable to mess with any other way other than to swallow. BUT you can still chew them chew them good wash down with liquid and it will get in your system a lot faster than waiting for them to slowely disolve. Do you get prescribed anything other pain meds along with oxy?

I am an ER nurse in New York. We are already seeing people -- teens and young adults -- with serious permanent damage from injecting OPs.

You all need to google pulmonary embolism. That's what happens when you shoot a bunch of burnt gunk and a chunk of it breaks off and enters your lungs, killing you. Or aneurysm, where the gunk hits your brain either KILLING YOU OR MAKING YOU A VEGETABLE. THERE IS NO REMOTELY SAFE WAY TO SHOOT OPs.

This is not like the OCs that were easily water soluble (but still really bad for you to shoot). The OPs are a magnitude higher of danger to shoot. You would seriously be better off with heroin. Or at least dilaudid or roxycodone. But please don't shoot this stuff, it's like shooting super-glue. Burning it doesn't change that fact -- it probably makes it worse. Please, PLEASE don't do this.

Look guys I think this is great. Not only r they now super cheap when mine run out. But ive perfected this method. Not only is what I snort more concentrated than the old ones. But it hits almost instantly!

1 go buy a pill grinder (not crusher) from pharmacy.

2 get a small glas or pyrex plate (not normal ceramic!!! This is very important!)

3 leave coating on pill or take it off if u want. Makes no differance.

4 grind pill untill powder/chunky. Nothing larger than tip of cheap pen.

5 spread over plate thinley n one layer. But not 2 spread.

6. Set timer on microw for 3 minutes. THIS WILL NOT TAKE FULL 3 MINUTES but if it stops early all is lost.

7. Watch untill all is completely brown. Stop micro.

8. Put directly n 2 freezer for 10 to 15 minutes.

9. Remove. Write condensation from plate with rag.

10. Scrape off of plate with razor blade.

11. Back into pill grinder.

12. Enjoy!

Usually takes a little over 2 minutes for a 4ty.

Guys way easy. Use a pill grinder then put powder in oven for 15 min at 160 and wait 10 min to dry and that it. No freezer needed. That a waste and I been doing it for 6 months with my monthly scrip way easy. Eveyone make it to hard. Really this easy guys no egg peg thing needed. One pill grinder and it powder. This the best way.

The methylcellulose compound is binded throughout the pill... sooo sucking the color off the pill will not get you any higher. Glad you can placebo yourself though :\

@Stevemar - Hey, how about you spend your time saving the world elsewhere. I despise people that try to try to tell other people how wrong it is to use, or in this case misuse, drugs that they are going to do/use whether they get the info from this forum or not. People are here for information, not for ethics lecturing. I am disgusted every time I read a post like this, because it is useless for people, one because the person looking for answers on how to use or “snort†a drug isn't getting anything from it, and two because no one on this forum that is actually using can give a s*** about what you think or say. So who exactly are you helping? Since I'm sure many think this is from an angry “userâ€, although it shouldn't matter, I have never used OP 80's, or any opiates/drugs of any sort, but my friend was looking up how to snort them and I noticed this forum in passing. I hope it'll be a laugh for those who agree, and a lesson for those who spend their time as Stevemar does, which is just to piss people off, while at the same time sounding ignorant and idiotic.

k let me start by saying to those who and i quote say"i cant pop them it doesnt work", oxy has the HIGHEST bio avaliblilty when poped , oxy contin , neo and what ever you get in the states (im from canada our new oxys are called neos)
i have been addictied to down for 2 years , i usta snort 3 80s a day , now i swallow 2 pills a day
if you cut up a pill into as many pieces as you can and swallow it gram for gram you will get the highest , this is proven science you cant argue with it , just because the time realse makes it last longer when you pop it does not make it any less of a high , instead of snorting a 40 every 4 hours pop a 8 and you will be high for 8 hours , (depends on your tolerance OBVisly )
