It's a way kick u off pain meds..There test are not 109 percent accurate but if you eat bagels..bread..muffins with poppy seeds...morphine or codeine show ..called thiabane......mouth wash...toothpaste..read your labels ..if you see any form thiabane or thiacyte in products..don't use..ask for blood test..most doctors know difference in using straight drug..then filtered morphine thru food product s...it's sad they use this technique to take away pain meds...sorry ...I been through this hell!!!

I want to know if I take a 7.5 mg hydrocodone medicine in the morning and 20 mg of morphine in the early evening on the same day, will it show up differently in a urine test? This test is for new my job and will be taken in the morning the day AFTER I have taken these meds. I only have a script to show for the hydrocodone. Is there somebody that can give me the most professional and experienced answer?

I was takin 10 mg norco for at least 10 or mo r yrs. Then my doc gave me 60 norco and 60 15mg moraphene ,but last time I went he dropped me then just gave me the moraphene,I go Thursday if he drops me will one ok for there is no moraphene in my system! So low dosage don't work so I saved some norco and that is that will be in my system Thursday! It's either there or he will drop me! I don't know what panel drug screen he uses! Any help appreciated!!

That is absolutely not true. I am urine screened once a week. I have been prescribed hydrocodone for the past 2 months. My past 4 urine tests have shown that I tested positive for morphine... And after they have sent it off.. it was proven that it was hydrocodone.

I'm beginning to wonder if they set people up or if these tests are worthless because of how many people I have heard of getting false positives for certain drugs.
One of my relatives made them give her another test immediately upon getting the results.
The results came back as they should have the next time and thankfully they didn't cut her off.

Wut exactly does this mean? Wut do u think about the response referring to the levels? Below 5000 being mop or above 1200 being opiate? Im temporarily prescribed norco 500mg but the tylonal makes my stomach hurt so i was concidering trading sumone a morphine 30mg for them. Will my urine test show up as 2 separate drugs when sent to the lab? Or will it come up as the same drug?

You took a 10 panel test at P. O. My dr. Searches just for my scripts i need to take. None prescribed isnt searched. But im no addict, so it doesnt really matter.

Great resource! I have script for hydrcodone 5mg 3 to 4 times daily for shoulder that needs replacement. I took one half morphine day before test stupidly but anyone who deals with severe pain... Had just signed agreement one month ago you know no other meds, when I went to pick up my script they said name came up "random" as per current policy, I freaked and declined the test. Lab tech told me that would count as a "failure." Would the morph had showed up separate from the hydro? trying to get this straight not substance abuser no other drugs Need more info. thank you

Hyrdocodone will show positive for OPIATES on a redi-dip urine drug test. This does not mean you are positive for Morphine. The only way to determine the exact drug for which you are positive is to send the sample for lab-confirmation where the sample can be broken down for exact analysis. Taking Hydrocodone or Oxycodone will never show as positive for morphine on a lab confirmation.

some drugs such as codeine, hydrocodone, etc. break down into morphine when metabolized, therefore creating a positive result for morph. You cannot tell the source unless you send it to a lab. The lab result must say that the source is consistent with what you are actually taking in order for it to be considered normal. For example, someone prescribed codeine, the lab results would say +Morph *Sample consistent with a codeine source.
