T 194 Yellow Pill (Top voted first)

Updated

I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect?

I too received Camber Oxycodone acetaminophen 10/325 almost a week ago from Walgreens, I have been sick ever since. I have so many side effects from nausea to rapid heartbeat, lightheadedness some chest pain. I’m not new to this medication or dose something is not right. I was curious if others are having any problems with this brand. I see I’m not alone and I’m sure once more pharmacies start distributing Camber’s generic Percocet we will be hearing from many more.

Hello just picked up 120 from Walgreens talked to pharmacist and she said that this is the only genetic brand they are going to order from now on I did ask if she has heard of any complaints and since they only just started dispensing 2 weeks ago she has NOT heard of any I still have a few of whites left so I’ll start tomorrow with new ones and keep posting of any side affects P.S. I have been taking for 16 years so I’ll know if there are any I’ll affects

This is crazy! It seems all these generic Percocet manufacturers (Camber, Rhodes, Amneal, Aurobindo) are ineffective and making people sick. It sounds like they're adding some type of "antabuse" or something to them.

I too filled my script at deal greens and this new pill comes with some really bad side effects. 1 is insomnia. I am still awake at 3 in the morning. 2 itch, it's driving me nuts and three they don't work at all. Wall greens just lost a customer. Of course they could give a poop less.

Where did you receive the T194 yellow pill, from which pharmacy?

I too, picked up the Cambers generic 10/325 percocet from Walgreens and don't care for it much at all. I feel as if I'm going through withdrawals faster and it just doesn't seem to work as well. It also makes me itch. Walgreens said that this is the brand they now carry. Does anyone know if Walgreens could order the old ones again?

Re: Poohsy (# 208) Expand Referenced Message

Poohsy, good to see you here. Hope you are well.

True, Walgreens, and any pharmacy, does not truly care about losing our business, or simply being helpful to us. But then, big pharmacy service, such as Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, is quite impersonal.

You cannot imagine the hoops and calls and pestering I had to do to get med a day early. Had to be four hours away at bedside of dying brother. RIP. Wanted to have them before I left. That did not happen, so hubby had to pick them up, on the correct date, and drive 4 hours to deliver them to me. Now, I realize others have suffered greatly trying to get what they need, just to get out of bed. But I still am baffled as to where and when simple compassion has gone to and when did it leave the Heathcare arena. Yes, I did get my oxycodone. The day before brother passed. After days of round the clock nursing, and yes, that was our choice. We chose to spend those last days with his hand in ours, swabbing his mouth, putting cool cloths on his hot, 105° body. Hospice was there to deal with that which we were not capable of. They were very generous with morphine and ativan for his anxiety. (Not everyone has such a kind spouse or friend to count on, like I do, thanks be to God!)

But for some receiving the camber T194, suffering was so very great. We look for comfort from our meds and we get a rock. Actually a rock would not be as bad as those camber pills. Ask Lildarlin. She was not only denied relief but has horrible ulcers due to the poison in Camber T194. Hi, Lil, sure hope your poor tummy recovers!

For the few docs that still operate with compassion, I say a heartfelt thank you. To the government, uncaring doctors and nurses, pharmacists, insurance companies, I say SHAME on you. Chronic pain patients are viewed as a demographic within the Healthcare industry and no longer as individuals. As of now, help is not on the way. Is it any wonder ordinary people will use extraordinary means to acquire some form of relief? I'm one who has been a rule follower, but I'm not without a rebellious side when backed into a corner.

I do agree with another poster who said try to take less, if you can, then, when you move up to normal prescribed dose, it works much better. Very good, sound advice. We need to do what it takes to care for ourselves, even if it hurts for while, because, as I see it, those with the ability and licence to care for us have been put in a hard place. The compassionate care all should receive, has been subjugated, and overruled by rules and regs. Though I understand pain med is not a constitutional right, compassion SHOULD be. : / JMJ...peace to all

An oblong yellow pill marked with T 194 on one side and blank on the other is identified as a 10/325mg generic Percocet.

For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Camber Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 31722-0194.

Oxycodone 10mg / Acetaminophen 325 mg by Camber

Concerning the possible side effects of Oxycodone, medline plus does list "chest pain" as a potentially serious side effect that you should inform your doctor about immediately.

I hope you feel better soon!

Re: FibroFighter2 (# 20) Expand Referenced Message

Being this is a recent thread & after reading most of the posts with your concerns, I thought I'd drop in just to post my opinion on what's going on in the pharmaceutical industry in conjunction with the CDC. Here where I live in S. Carolina, there's been a major shift in the types of scripts "all" the pharmacies in this area are distributing. For whatever reason, some of the more popular oxy based painkiller meds are hard to come by now, pretty much gone from circulation by the local pharmacies. In one locale in particular, I know for a fact, every single pharmacy, chain or mom & pop type drug store is now carrying the exact same time released pills with the hard outer shells. Why this is exactly, I don't know. The outer shell can be defeated but it is more inconvenient doing so. Also, the time released formulas the companies are using don't seem quite as strong. I know they're not for me. This is my opinion of course & others might disagree. Here's my theory, I'm of the opinion the CDC is ordering less potent substitutions be circulated in an effort to start weaning people off them due to the extreme epidemic occurring across America. Of course I don't know this for a fact, but I do find it very suspect suddenly a half dozen variety of popular pills have been taken off the market to be replaced by what I consider an inferior one (RP 10/325 by Rhodes Pharmaceutical). I just feel the industry & government both are now going to undermine legitimate concerns of pain patients in order to alleviate this epidemic the nation's experiencing right now. The FDA essentially allowed these drugs into mainstream America, now they feel forced to reverse their effects. By doing so, they don't care who they hurt or bring down going the opposite direction. This is speculation on my part of course, but I do feel I'm pretty close to the truth, the real truth.

I was also blind-sided with these T194's from Walgreems after 2 yrs of taking the A333s. They didn't even inform me that my script was from a different manufacturer. I had to find out in the worst way after I took 1 that night. My heart started beating fast & I felt as if I was having a panic attack. A sudden headache came along with crawly- itchy sensations. Scared me to death. I informed Walgreens as soon as they opened the next morning. The pharmacist told me they just fill the scripts, they don't know what they're getting from 1 month to the next & they aren't required to tell us when corporate use different manufacturers. It should be illegal for these Pharmaceutical Companies to sell us this crap that don't do any better for pain than a 500mg Tylenol & put all kinds of dangerous fillers that make people sicker to add. It's sad because all you want is some relief from the suffering & these companies are taking advantage of laws not being in place to protect us from their greed.

Re: anthony (# 19) Expand Referenced Message

You sound like me Anthony and a few others regarding side effects & your opinions. I stopped using Walgreens over a decade ago, as had, and some ppl still do, problems with a few of my Rx and other reasons. However, the pharmacy I've used for many years has changed manufacturers on Percocets, at least three times, in the last year. This yellow pill, with T194, is the worst~! believe! I have taken generic percocets for a long time and know the difference. This manufacturer's pill makes me itch, which is driving me nuts, and I never had that problem with any previous Brands/Manfg. They also cause me more headaches and just are not as effective! :( I don't know what "fillers/inert" ingredients they use, but it needs a change!! Sadly, the pharmacy I use, as well as, many others can NOT order out certain brands/manufacturer anymore!! :\ The pharmaceutical industry is continuing to make more money selling and dispensing less effective medications! It's really a shame!

Re: Jeff (# 121) Expand Referenced Message

Dear Jeff, they always tell you NO complaints, so that YOUR complaint will make you wonder if this could possibly be in your head. Make you search your concience and discover...tadaaaa, i must be a drug seeker, an addict. Look at how i am groveling for better, stronger meds! Your nausea, continued pain, headaches are just an opportunity to possibly get a drug with a high. And then THEY can utilize the feared red flag. They can put you in the box of deplorables and wreck your credibility with all Pharmacies, databases, doctors, etc. They look like they are just trying to help your drug addled self, doing their part for the war on drugs. Their war on chronic pain patients. Their tactics somehow are going to turn chronic pain into just a nuisance, a character defect, a weakness doctors, legislators, pharmacies et al, can bully out of you.

Yes, this is a rant, but a rant many filling their scripts with ineffective meds, can relate with. Reading about this Camber T194, the complaints from ordinary people, not druggies, is a RED FLAG for ME. A sure sign of collusion within Walgreen pharmicies, and beyond. No, I don't trust, but neither do I see conspiracies at every turn. Common sense tells me all is not right in the pharmaceutical world!!!! JMJ

Re: JMJ (# 145) Expand Referenced Message

Forgot this part of my rant ;) We can go into our local Walmart and raise holy @#$/ about their defective TV, Computers, clothing, even foods, and they respond with courtesy, including bending over backwards to make things right. But, by golly, show irritation about defective generics, which may affect the quality of our lives and our productivity and yes, they will respond....with an escort to the door, because 1. You are peeved and 2. They are no longer comfortable filling your legit perscriptions. How dare we be irritated, or missing a tooth, or look like death warmed over, or simply ask for a different generic???? Or heaven forbid....have no insurance? Of course, they can turn you away for NONE of the above. It's up to them and how comfortable THEY feel. Wow, just wow. What a world we live in. :(

Re: Jerry (# 243) Expand Referenced Message

Jerry, yes your Pharmacist should help you out, to get the pills most helpful to you. But.... and that's a big but....not all are so helpful. Many, if you complain about a certain generic, say, flag you as seeking, or as an addict. We can no longer state our preference freely, because if we do, then we are simply seeking the pill with the most "high" factor. To them, we should just be grateful. We can no longer complain about an inadequate, or defective product. If we do we get the red flag treatment. And God forbid, we have a red flag by our name. The day of "the customer is always right" are over. The customer is looked at with suspicion. And only the customer that is treated with opioids. Only THAT customer. When it comes to blood pressure meds, or others of that nature, sure they're there to help you. But PAIN MEDS......get to the back of the line, you seekers, you addicts. Tread lightly, tread carefully, you may just end up with the loathed, despicable...red flag. God help you if you do end up with the terrible red flag. NOTHING you have to say carry any weight. Your preference, your known efficacious meds, are of no concern to tO'Day pharmacist. Today's pharmacist can spot a user from a mile away. Just ask him.

Re: joe (# 14) Expand Referenced Message

On 12/27 I picked up a new Walgreen's RX for 10/325s. It was filled with T194, not the A333 I have received for at least 4 years. After 3 days it is very obvious there is a major difference.

It changed earlier, back in mid 2012 when Watson bought Actavis. They dumbed it down to the less strong A333. I did not like that but it was what is was, less strong.........This T194 is so bad that I also have to wonder if there is an antibuse type ingredient that eliminates any possible feelings or energy. These T194's are less strong and are slow me downs.

Living in Florida it boils down to who will fill your prescription and that means Walgreens for me and all they carry now are the T194.
