How Long Will Morphine Stay In Your Urine? (Page 2)

I weight about 100 pounds, I've been taking left over 15mg of morphine for my back for about a week and a half now (just once a day). But I have a job interview coming up and I'm pretty sure they will give me a paper for a urine test (as do most jobs). Because I have a fast metabolism will it be out of my system in two to five days?

My mother is prescribed 7.5 lortab and she missed her appt to go back so she took one of her old morphine pills witch is a 30 mg but only took half of it but she us over weight and smokes and is taking her other meds too her appt is in 5 days and she took it on the 2nd and her appt is on the tenth will she pass it

I screwed up I have been clean for a year and then I took 4 morphine pills today caz my lupus flair up was hurting me im sorry I lied to my doc but I have to go in for a drug test on the 26th will I pass my test and if I cant are there ways to help get it out of me im sorry I even did it but my doc said if I don't pass he wont give me the meds I do need to help me plz someone help me im soooo sorry

I have a back injury and nerve damage and can attest to what you are saying. I take 380mg of morphine a day in addition to a few other things. I too am unable to achieve an erection and would be embarrassed to shower with my 4 y/o grandson as I have shrunk up to nothing! My doctor has just changed my meds to dilaudid and it's not working!

I took extended release 30 mg morphine on the 4th of this month..do you think it is out? I have to go in for my monthly and I will get the usual U/A and blood work so I am concerned about this..I am in pain management, but the doctor was on vacation and the on call dr. wouldn't let me pick up rx without being seen and I was on my way to Louisiana..so it is really messed up..I just don't want to be penalized for this

Sounds to me like you need to have a chat with your pain doctor about " Opana ER " It is the Cadillac of pain meds !!! I've had 4 hip replacements two of which dislocated ( the absolute worst pain I've EVER been Through !!!! ) They think the hips are not taking because of the diabetic nerve pain. It's all over my body for which I take 100mg's Lyrica a day. But let me tell you the truth, Opana is a God send !! WHY my Dr didn't have me on it sooner is beside me. I will warn you, it's the STRONGEST pain medicine known to man. It comes in IR and ER, I take 3 15mg ER's a day and 6 hydrocodone's a day ( 10/325 ) And I HATE those of you who TAKE OR SELL PAIN MEDS FOR FUN OR TO MAKE $ It's YOU PEOPLE who have RUINED the ability of pain meds for those of us who really NEED them. I Literally had to sign my life away to even be on a pain management contract, I unlike some of you aren't going through all that crap just to take marijuana, although I would if I didn't have to pee in a cup EVERY MONTH thanks to you freakin pill heads, I wish I could give you my hip and feet for 1 hour and that hour is the first one of the day, when I have to reach for 3 bottles of pills,( make sure the night before that I leave enough to drink) lay there for at least 30 minutes ( DYING TO PEE ) wanting coffee so bad you would pay someone to get it...AT LEAST 30 MINUTES before I can even THINK about getting up, some day's longer, grab my cane and hobble to the bathroom to pee AND I'M ONLY 46 years old !!! But I've recently been told that because of the pecker heads that take these for FUN that even more STRICT laws are coming down the pike and I as messed up as I am, will have my meds cut, so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you who've done this to me. I was just told two weeks ago that NO surgery will fix me, and that I'm considered " Chronic " and will be on pain management the rest of my life. From what the Dr's have told me, thanks to the pill epidemic...I'll have my med's cut to what the GOVERNMENT see's fit thanks again to the people looking for a buzz. But you my friend NEED Opana ER and or IR that is IF YOU CAN GET IT

Then she needs to see pain spec if she is actually in pain if she just faking it thrn get a ehe needs rehab stop making harder for us people who are in chronic pain we get stereo styped n our medications go up higher n higher n then we are being monitored by government n they make new new meds that suppose to b same as what we take but it not because people like her misuse it wind up overdosing n die stupid people they need rehab as he gonna get hurt on her job n when she does she will b screaming my back my bsck to get the pills when her back is prob just fine

Risking people lives at a new job im sure new co workers would object working next to you for you are not only putting your life at risk when your doped up on morphine. it may be an old script, however doctors apparently didnt feel you needed it any longer. That is why he stopped giving them to you. if your in that much pain go back to the doctor so he can check you n give you a diagnosis. if he feels you should b on the morphine then he will give you a new script for it. otherwise he will give you script for something else as most pain specialist wont just give out a script for them until he tried all the lower dosed pain narcotics. right now you coming on here saying what you wrote makes you sound like just another pill popper. if your back was in that much pain a person wouldnt be looking for work as you use your back for most jobs and just walking would cause you a great deal of pain n they would fire you before you made it to end probationary period, unless your intentions are to get hurt on job so you cry to doctors of fake pains in your back.. I am a chronic pain suffer and ive heard these kinds of stories you and a lot of people write on here to make it sound like you suffer in pain, when your not in any pain at all.

You just dont want people to think your a drug addict on narcotics. my pain spec. tells all about you fakes and stories n lies so I can spot you all out a mile away. people like you make it hard for those of us who do suffer in pain day in and day out never to know what a pain free day is. ive been living In pain since may 2010. I dont know what it feels like not to be in pain. I wont ever go to an emergency room the moment you tell all the medication your on they automatically think your there for more pain pills, when your not and you even take all pain medication with you to show them that you still have plenty of pain medication left; n when you go there your reason wasnt even for pain issue but for a totally diff health reason. its people like the pill poppers that have us to b stereotyped in with you pill poppers it sickens me to b put in a category with people like you when I do have very legit reasons to b on them. Not for lil back ache that will go away. try having your life turned updide down cuz your crippling up n your body lives in pain as you keep crippling up day in n day out. good luck with the new job if you got it. my sympthy is for co workers there the cones who dont know there working next to a pain pill drug addict n your putting there life in harms way just cuz you wanna feel that high. why not try a rehab before thinkin of a job or is it u need to work so you can supply your habit?

I am on methadone which I take everyday sum one took my last dose so I had 2 50 mg morphine pills I swallowed on Sunday I have a UA on Friday (5 days) later will it show up

I couldn't agree more about staying away from narcotic pain meds! I've been on them for about 11 yrs, from my dr. Of course and I would do anything to get off them but I hear it's a lengthy nightmare!! I also have so much real pain I can't even imagine living with it. BUT...at the same time, it's changed my life so much! I went from an aerobic energizer bunny to a blur on my couch. Never any energy or will to go out and do anything. I sleep as much as possible! ! MY LIFE TO ALL SUCKS NOW!!!!!
