Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Top voted first)

Updated

It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?

Recently went to refill my norco script and they gave me M367 10/325 instead of the yellow 10/325. One of the yellow pills would last 4 hours. With the m367 I have to take 3 at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Let me know if any of you have encountered the same with M367 10/325. Thank you

I recently got switched dr upped my dose to 7.5s
And guess what it seems like the generic crap they gave me isnt working plus it's making my stomach sick . Its not reliving my pain . It's the orange kind from qualitest i think . The lower dose was the same brand but not orange . It was white w red speckles and seemed to work . I don't understand . And before they gave me this generic crap they actually gave me the name brand new Vicodin that worked great ! But there is no generic out there for that so my insurance made me switch to these generic norco . I'm upset anyone got any advice ?

I have been taking 10/325 mg. hydrocodone from Qualitest for over two years. A few weeks ago my pharmacy changed to Mallicrodt and I immediately got sick. It was as if I was on 5 mgs and I was going through withdrawal effects. I had the shakes, digestive problems, panic and I thought I was having a physical and mental melt-down. After reading some other responses throughout the Internet I realized it might be the medication. I called my pain management doctor and they said I could see him a week early. I also called the pharmacy who finally admitted they had been having other complaints. I am now going on brand name Norco. This is outrageous, but I know most people won't believe me. I am just lucky my husband could witness this so my doctor will understand I am not making this up.

Yes I totally agree the M367 are not effective at all. My pharmacy switched to them from the yellow ones about 3 months ago. I noticed the difference the first day. Was pretty much told it would be that or nothing if I started asking questions at the pharmacy. I don't think they care about the pain you're enduring or why. We all get lumped into one group, they treat us like we are all dishonest and just trying to feel high. A lot of people have no quality of life without help with pain relief.

I agree that the different "batches" of pain relievers (Vicodin), even if they are from the SAME manufacturer, can vary greatly in strength and the pain relief they deliver. I recently had my prescription filled for Vicodin by INTERPHARM and this current batch is much weaker than the last ones I received. I always have two "spares" on hand and I took just ONE from a previous batch and it is more effective than TWO from the new batch. This SUCKS when you have chronic pain and limited pills to take (just two a day). I guess that NO ONE in the Food and Drug administration in the U.S. is monitoring this or that they even give damn about it!

Where do you shop that dispenses Norco made by Watson or Qualitest ? Norco made by Mallinckrodt manufacturers do not work. Please tell where to find Watson or Qualitest brand.

I'm sorry but no junkie on here is going to make me feel bad because my med is working cause I take like I'm supposed to. I have chronic pain and I manage it hince pain management. If you are in that much pain then get on morphine lol. That probably wouldn't work either lol

I have no problem with Norco but I don't take them anymore. I'm in Xylon 10 mgs. Better for your stomach and way stronger. Lori had it right by getting on Xylon Tell your Dr it isn't working and see the reaction you will get. That's why everyone is on here fighting instead of fighting with their doctor or pharmacist.

ok so i have a question on the M367 pills. First, I have taken Vicodin about two times in the past. First time i broke my left ankle 3 years ago and got a prescription for the 5mg/(not sure on the acetaminophen) Vicodin at qty 20 pills. Then one year ago I had two wisdom teeth pulled and got a prescription for 5mg Vicodin like 15 pills. I say that to point out the fact that i dont think i have any built up tolerance.. I dont take any regular medicine, then or now. When i took the Vicodin, both times, the pain was gone in 20-30 minutes and i was full of energy ( one pill a day) .. SO to my question... now i have a herniated disc pushing on a nerve root and some stenosis clamping down on a different nerve root.. all verified through MRI.... I got to the pain management Doc and he gives me Norco 10/325 M367 and im like hmmm these will send me through the roof,,, so i took a half a pill..... then 2 hrs later took the other half,,,, hmm nothing..... 2 hrs later took a whole pill..... pain finally went down from about an 8 to a 3.... so it did work but WHY do i have to take soo many????AND it lasted about 2 hours.... so i plan on telling the doc to give me something stronger OR ( after researching) should i try another brand??? I did find a pharmacy that has the Qualitest in stock OR should i get the Name Brand Pills????

I've been on norco 10/325 for almost a year and it does work if you take it as prescribed. If you aren't feeling anything then sounds like you are building a tolerance. Going to pharmacies and demanding answers will get you no where and will and does sound like a drug addict that wants a better high. Plus the pharmacies are filling what the Dr prescribed so best bet would be to talk to your Dr instead and PM clinics are catching on to people that ask for stronger meds. What was you doing or how was you getting by before the pain meds? If you can't live or cope without them then you are already addicted. If I run out I can wait the rest of my month till I get my script and don't have any withdrawals cause I take my meds like my Dr said I never abuse them. And generic is the same thing lol everyone knows that. Same ingredients just cheaper for insurance companies. And good luck writing your congressman lol won't get you far at all because they are catching on to everyone that so called can't bare the pain. Complaining just makes it worse. Everyone b****ing on every website about this is just letting the dea know that they are doing something right. Good luck to all and I'm so thankful I don't abuse my meds, reading some of these posts make me feel so much better knowing I'm not addicted and don't complain at all. I bet my Dr and pharmacy loves me, something different instead of the same b****ing problems by almost everyone. I'm a breath of fresh air to them, maybe that's why I never get treated or looked at like an addict. I see my Dr and get my meds and get them filled all with no b****ing or problems.

I've been prescribed over a year, I was taking lortabs when no one ever heard of Norco. I been taking lortabs and norco since I was a teenager everyday and I'm still not addicted. I have chronic pain since I was 19 and I'm now 31 so know your facts before you try to call me out. And any one that has something to say about my comment is obviously mad cause I spoke the truth and they are addicts. If your meds aren't working after taking 3 in a row then there's a big problem going on, called addicted. Look at the main title, he states that he takes three in a row and feels nothing. He is trying to get a buzz. I don't take pills for euphoria. One will help my pain and then I'm good. Sorry everyone's addicted in here but the more complaining to doctors, hospitals, pharmacies is the reason why good people can't get any help. All you all bad apples spoil it for the good ones. Shame on you all.

Sandy good luck with your rehab also. So sad you can't function without meds and I never said over the counter works for me or I wouldn't be in pain management. And the older the wiser? Lol I guarantee that's a lie. I know some stupid old people that do stupid stuff and go to prison. That's there life but yet since he's older he's wiser? Sorry but no lol

I don't take my meds everyday and I'm fine so..... Lol if you keep reading you will see that I can go without my meds and I'm fine. Lol you just wanted to be heard lol. No one cares about you junkies, that's why you all are getting mad cause I won't agree that the need don't work as good cause I don't do drugs and I don't b**** to my Dr for stronger meds. People are on here talking about all of you all get together and write the community letters to bring back lortabs. Really?? No I'm wrong you ain't addicts, when you are ready to write congressman about stronger meds makes you look like an addict and they will just laugh and blow y'all off. People keep complaining will be the ones with no meds cause drs are tired of hearing about it. Like I said, I'm a breath of fresh air to my Dr. No problems with me. Sorry for y'all. I'm happy when I write this and y'all are getting mad. Something ain't right there. Can we say addicts. And don't trust me cause my name is Precious, I don't care, this is the name my parents gave me and I'm proud of it. It fits me well :-) <3

The M367 is crap. I'll bet you get it from CVS. They have switched to the cheapest generics on the market.

I've been on meds one yr so far with Norco and 8 yrs with klonopin and no problem and Dr decides to take me of then that's fine. I will still live. Dependant and addiction is the same to me. And I'm glad you are old enough to be my dad but you aren't my dad so you don't need to talk to me like I'm a child. And as for my Dr, do you see him too? You would think so since you know what my Dr will do. If you can't live without your meds then you are addicted or in your case dependant lol. My dad had major surgery on his back with a 12 inch scar and he don't complain. He hurts everyday but he takes a hot bath to relieve the tension from just waking up but he has never took a pill for pain and he hurts a lot. We are just a family of non dependants on drugs. We never been on drugs and don't abuse the prescriptions. But keep talking cause I'm young and your old so that makes you automatically right lol. Good luck in rehab lol

Watson 10-325's did nothing for me so I had my Doctor switch me back to the 5-325's and give me a larger quantity. The 5's seem to work much better than the 10's, but I do have to take them more often or two at a time.

I'm sure there are others that have had similar problems, there can be some slight fluctuations from one generic medication to another, so not all of them work well for everyone that tries them.

For example, I can take this same tablet and it really hits me very hard, after taking just one, I have good pain relief and am pretty much tired and groggy for most of the day.

You may want to try asking your pharmacy to order a different one in for you that's made by a different company. Do you remember who manufactured the one that worked well for you?

Hydrocodone 10mg + Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 325mg

Manufacturer: Mallinckrodt
National Drug Code: 0406-0125

Inactive Ingredients:
- Crospovidone
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Povidones
- Starch, Corn
- Silicon Dioxide
- Stearic Acid
