Does Anyone Else Experience On Viibryd?

I just started Viibryd 3 days ago and I am having a pain in my jaw/cheek. Could this be related to the Viibryd?

Hi Emmy,

From what I could gather, very stiff (rigid) muscles is listed as a side effect of Viibryd; although I'm not sure if this could be related to your jaw pain?

There also seems to be a lot of unusual side effects associated with Viibryd. Perhaps one of the threads linked below may be of help in so far as seeing what others have to say about their experience:

Odds are that Viibryd is the root cause of the jaw pain if you've never experienced any such symptoms before taking the medication.

Hi Emmy. I started viibryd in oct. 2013, and yes, had jaw aching pain, along with terrible headaches and neck pain. Once I decreased the dosage from 20 mg to 10mg, the jaw, head, and neck pain was, prior to decreasing dosage, my pcp ordered that I have physical therapy. It did not help. Being on the 10mg dosage has presented severe joint and spinal pain. I am weaning from 10mg to 5mg. My psych Dr. has been unreceptive to my concerns that the viibryd is the culprit, says he does not want me to wean from the 10mg dosage, but quite frankly, he isn't the one suffering all the miserable side effects. I have reported them to the pharmaceutical company, Forest Pharmaceuticals, and will probably report to the FDA. I would not recommend my worst enemy take this awful medicine, its the worst a/d I've ever been on. It helps the depression, but all of the other wretched side affects aren't worth the trade off to me. I also cannot take anything for my physical pain, except tylenol, and I have to take 650mg. Arthritis Tylenol to get any relief. I will keep this web site posted regarding whether my physical pain in joints and spine improves/goes away once I've completed weaning. It has been a very difficult weaning process, nausea, faintness, low bp, rapid heart beats, bad anxiety, you get the idea, I'm sure. Good Luck.
