Was addicted to opiates for years, took suboxones, a lil @ a time, now on 10mg of methadone, are they the same? ## Hello, Lucky1! How are you? No, they are not the same. Methadone is exactly that, it contains no other active ingredients. Suboxone, however, contains Buprenorphine coupled with Naloxone to prevent the abuse of other opiates, while someone is under treatment with it. The FDA classifies both as narcotic opiates that are most commonly used to treat drug addiction. They carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found a light blue oval shaped pill marked with L368 on 1 side and the other side is blank. I was told it's the same thng as Xanax 3mg. Is this true?v ## Based on the description provided, I found your blue oval pill to be Naproxen sodium (220 mg). This is NOT the same, nor close to Xanax. Xanax is used to treat moderate to severe anxiety disorders (e.g., social anxiety disorder) and panic attacks, and is used as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated with moderate depression. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug commonly used for the reduction of moderate to severe pain, fever, inflammation and stiffness. For more information about Naproxen, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to ...

Chemical wise they are essentialy the same. Hydrocodone(5mg)/Acetaminophen(500mg). Each manufacturer may use different fillers for there pills but, you will be recieveng the same dose from either one ## Hi Loiselle, Thanks for sharing this bit of information! That slight variation of inactive ingredients seems to have such a big impact on how the drug itself is metabolized and used by your body. Unfortunately, I think these fillers are part of the reason why so many people react differently to the same medications and experience different side effects. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

Is Roxy the same as Percocet medication? ## It depends which one you are asking about, your slang does not make it clear. There are two drugs commonly nicknamed Roxy, Roxicodine, which just contains Oxycodone and Roxicet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. ## roxy 30 mg

I take Levothyroxin 100 mcg and replaced by Thyronorm 100 mg. is this comprable dosage and same effect? ## 1000 micrograms (mcg)= 1 milligram (mg) 100 mcg= .1 mg Since thyronorm and levothyroxine are one in the same medication (just different brand names), it becomes clear to me that levothyroxine 100mcg is a significantly smaller dose than thyronorm 100mg. That said, you will probably notice the difference in strength when switching to thyronorm. However I certainly wouldn't be able to tell you how this will effect you in comparison to your previous dosage, as everyone reacts to these medications differently. I hope this helps! ## Hi, I was on medication for hypothyroidism for 7 years.... Having Thyronorm 50mcg till now and with recent tests my doctor changed my medicine to levothy...

Is 4839 V the same as 602 I'm taking 4839 for my knee but I use to take 602 so I'm wondering if they r the same ## Yes, both tablets contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they've just been manufactured by different companies. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Will there be a difference between v4839 and 602 percocet in a u/a? I know they both are 5/325.

Is there a difference in pills marked 283 and 2632? ## Hello, Billie! How are you? The tablet with the marking IG 283 is manufactured by InvaGen Pharmaceuticals and the one with the 2632 V marking is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, both of these companies list them as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine. The FDA classifies this as a muscle relaxant that is used to treat the pain and spasms associated with sprains, strains and injuries. Typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. This is a generic medication and it is very common for them to be manufactured by several different companies. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello I have just received a pill with the imprint u03 and I would like to know if anyone who has taken M367 has changed over and if they are the same strength and if they work the same as my m367 did ## Yes, they are both Hydrocodone 10 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## I hardly think that's safe, be careful, you can easily become addicted to pain meds.

I have two scripts of hydrocodone. One is stamped m365 and the other is n356. The n356 makes me sleepy & the m365 makes me hyper. Both bottles say they are the same thing, but how can I react so differently to them? ## Both M365 and N356 5, contain a combination of Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone at a dosage of 5/325mg. However, there are still some unique differences... The N356 5 pill lists Hydrocodone bitartrate while M365 simply lists Hydrocodone (by itself). Bitartrate is an acid tartrate, that from what I could gather seems to play some sort of role in the absorption process. Each pill also contains a different set of binders and fillers. So it may be that some of these supposedly inert chemicals are affecting the way your body would typically respond to the medication as a whole....

The generic of stilpane tablets ## Stilpane is listed as containing 320mgs of Paracetamol, 32mgs of Caffeine, 150mgs of Meprobamate and 8mgs of Codeine, so you'd be looking for something with the same ingredients. Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to help you find one. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I definitely think the white v 36 09 is less effective...much less effective!!! I've taken Norco for many, many years for chronic back pain. I have degenerative disc disease and arthritis. I have multiple spinal fusions and my shoulders are shot from multiple rotator cuff repairs. I have gotten the white ones for the past two months. I have NEVER taken more than prescribed in the past but I get literally NO relief from the white ones! It feels like a placebo to me and I am beyond frustrated!! I can't take NSAIDS and I go to a pain Dr so I can't take any other type of narcotic and I am miserable!! Please go back to the Yellow v 36 01. They are NOT the same!!! Why would the white be cheaper for Wal-Mart if they are identical? Why would a manufacturer make the same medication w...

I have a pale yellow generic with s901 and a orange generic with 029. Why is the yellow one stronger than the orange when they are both .5 mg? ## Hello, Laci! How are you? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another. In most cases, it is so slight that no one notices, but some people are sensitive to medications and may find that one generic doesn't work as well for them. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have got an eye infection and doctor had prescribed me ZO-200 (Ofloxacin). I am at the place where ZO-200 is not available but ZENFLOX-200 (Ofloxacin) is available. Is it safe to take ZENFLOX-200 in this situation? Please help. ## Did you check with your doctor, or the pharmacist? Generally, as long as it's the same medication, in the same dosage and the same dosage form, then they are interchangeable. ## Yes if the combination salt is same than you will take
