generic percocet 10/325

10/325 generic percocet which is the best manufacturer for chronic pain ## Hi Em, Unfortunately because every brand/generic effects each person differently, the only honest way to go about finding out what works best, is to try out different manufacturers for yourself. That way you can also formulate your own valid opinion. What I can tell you though from reading a lot of posts on this site, is that Actavis (Formerly known as Watson) has been receiving a massive amount of complaints lately regarding the quality and efficacy of their generic Percocet tablets. So that's probably one company you'd want to steer clear from based on their recent track record. I hope this helps! ## I am a 53 year old grandmother, full-time student earning my bachelors in psychology counseling, then on...

Getting Prescriptions From 2 Different Doctors For Pain Meds But There Are Conditions
512 Replies RSS
Well I just really need to know if what I am doing is considered doctor shopping. I fell at at department store and injured my knee. Now I have to go to the doctor the lawyer sent me to. He prescribes pain meds for me but the only thing he can treat is my knee. I started having back problems. My primary care doctor sent me to a different doctor and he also gives me meds. But the pharmacy said they would call the doctors and tell on me. So I went and ahead and told the doctors myself so that it would not look as bad. What do you think will happen to me? The pharmacy refused to give me back my prescription. Can they do that? ## Yes, when you are getting medications from more than one doctor, regardless of the condition, that is the very definition of doctor shopping. Logically, if one doc...

White oblong pill with I 71
1 Reply RSS
My pharmacist changed manufacturers and this is what I was given for my percocet 10/325. Can anyone help verify if this is the correct medicine? ## @BamBam, A white oblong pill imprinted with I 71 is reportedly identified as Bupropion HCL extended-release (300 mg), which is an antidepressant medication. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Cipla USA and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 69097-0876. I'm not sure why the pharmacist would say that this is Percocet, as surely they are mistaken based on the pill description. I would contact them right away if you haven't done so already... Hope this helps!

Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia
1220 Replies RSS
Hi, My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards. ## I think you may be confusing medication names and if ...

3 Replies RSS
I am prescribed oxycodone 30mg and have a severed foot and a very bad back, so I have been taking oxycodone 20mg. Will they show up as the same thing? I have a urine test on friday. ## Yes they are the same one is just stronger than the other. ## Yes they are the same thing. Percocet and oxycodone are the same now hydrocodone is different from a percocet and a oxycodone ## I take 30mg oxycodone and sometimes I run out early so I take Percocet 10/325s. Will I still pass a urine drug test?

I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower. My MD cannot get me into a specialist until August, but I am having real stress here. Will it be harmful for me to take more than the one tablet per 8 hours?? ## your comment seems strange to me brcause my MD prescribed me some of same percocet and on the bottle it says take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 or 6 hours according to pain or even as needed for pain. I have been taking 2 every 9 or 10 hours Lately, though, I realize that if I do not take a pill I start to feel pain in my shoulders, and my chest is agitated. So I just stopped takin...

percocet with valium
2 Replies RSS
Is it safe to take 20mg Percocet 325s with 6mg valium? At the same time. ## Hello, Bebe! How are you? They should only be combined, with your doctor's approval. Both of these medications can increase sedation and cause depression of the central nervous system, which may be dangerous, if the doses are too high, or if someone has medical conditions that affect their breathing, heart rate and blood pressure. The FDA classifies Percocet as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Valium is classified as a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything el...

generic percocet 10-325 a333 white oblong
33 Replies RSS
Hi, this is the first time I have been given the A333 oxycodone 10 -325. Normally I get the Watson 10 - 325 which has always been a decent generic brand. The Watsons 10 -325 are manufactured in the U.S.A. but I am not sure where the A333 are made or if they are equivalent to the Watsons. If you can answer my question it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael ## Hello, Michael! How are you? What country they are made in actually doesn't matter, if they are approved and available here in the U.S. they must meet the same quality and efficacy guidelines as the other generics and yes, these are equivalent. Is there anything else I can help with? ## hello my name is d, question are you a legal doctor and where do you get your medical resourses thanks for your time d. ## Hi again...

percocet/oxycodone m523 10/325 fake?
65 Replies RSS
Hello all, First off I'm new to posting here and I must admit this is probably a topic that is quite frequent and I have done days searching but can't seem to really find any info on my specific situation. I apologize in advance for the long post but I will introduce myself and situation. I've been on oxycodone 10/325 for a little over a year now from a botched foot surgery and diabetic neuropathy in this same foot. It helps tremendously and seems to be the only relief I can get is from taking these. Whether its first thing in the morning to be able to stand up and get moving or whether it's to let me settle down and drift off to sleep which is something fairly hard to do. I also was recently diagnosed with PTSD from my job and I am currently out of work for this. It is ...

tested positive for percocet but only take oxycontin and oxycodone
13 Replies RSS
My husband takes OxyContin, oxycodone and neurontin for pain. He also takes clonazepam. He had a mouth swab done recently and it came back positive for OxyContin, percocet mb, & oxymorphone. Then it comes down and says unexpected results: negative: Opana, pt oxycodone. What does this mean and where did percocet come from? Really confused. He hasn't take Percocet in over 15 months since his accident. Anyone know? The dr didn't say anything about it, but im definitely curious to why its on there and why it says negative for oxycodone when he takes it 4xs daily. ## I wish I could help. I am on Norco(hydrocodone), took 2 at 4am, one at 12:30pm, took ameritox screen at 1:30pm and the metabolites test(not the quick urine dip test in the jar-it should hydrocodone and my anti-depres...

Filling an rx for Percocet same Dr. Prescribing
3 Replies RSS
I was issued 2 scripts from the same Dr. For 10mg/325 Oxycodone. Due to Surgery last week total Hip Replacement! I know I will have to pay out of pocket cause my insurance just filled at beginning of the month. He gave me 2 due to tolerance & going through PHYSICAL THERAPY 2 to 3 times a week! Why won't a pharmacy fill this for me if I am getting them from the same Dr? ## Just have the doctor contact the pharmacist and explain the need for the two prescriptions. ## The pharmacy already told me that NO PHARMACY WOULD BE ABLE TO FILL the rx unless it was for a different strength!!! This pharmacy is so strict I started filling there a few years ago due to having to go to so many different pharmacies and they didn't have any left! They are now making me wait 30 days rather than ...

are there fake 4839 v percocets out
3 Replies RSS
I have percocets 4839 V and they look like the pictures I have seen, but they don't do anything for my pain. Are there fakes of these going around in the Cincinnati area? ## According to your descriptors they are indeed oxycodone but unless you purchased them from a regulated pharmaceutical entity you can never be certain they meet standards and are 100% genuine. Tolerance to this med develops at a phenomenal pace EVEN WHEN TAKEN AS PRESCRIBED. Such is the reason regulators have taken such an anti opiate/opioids stance for the better part of the last 2 decades. Making it increasingly difficult for legit chronic pain patients to find relief. But I'm sure you already know this if your one of these unfortunate folks. Best wishes. ## Cincinnati got the fake ones some got other thing...

Pain Management Urine Test positive
9 Replies RSS
Can you store urine that is positive for percocet for use in a drug screening? I need to test positive and stored urine that would test positive about three weeks ago. Are they going to detect that it is old urine? I stored it in the fridge and will warm it up with body contact before i test. ## Why are you storing it? You could simply take a percocet 3 hours before your appt. and UA. This would show positive. They are not measuring how much is in your urine, only if it is positive or negative. This would keep you appearing to uphold your pain contract and not have you using every day. ## Can I store my urine in freezer with perscribed percocet 10mg to test positive for pain management clinic? I want to use marijuana and I am afraid of getting cut off because of thc in my urine. I haven...

Rhodes Pharm Manufacturer for RP 10/325 Generic for Percocet
9 Replies RSS
Horrible experience with RP 10/325 generic for Percocet 10/325 prescribed by my Pain Mgt Dr. I got the prescription filled at Walmart a month ago. Since that time, I have been in withdrawals, with aching muscles, mostly in my shoulders and wrists, the pain I felt before going on any pain pills over 25 years ago, also the chills and sweating, just as if I were in complete withdrawal. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and told the pharmacist what was happening and he told me he has had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me...okay, so my husband is now picking up my new monthly prescription at Walgreens, and the manufacturer is Actavis, which I believe is the old Watson and I am praying they will take away the withdrawal feelings. Has anyone else had this issue with the R...

Does Percocet And Oxycontin Show Up The Same On A Urine Test
11 Replies RSS
I am rx'ed ms-contin 30mg & percocet 10mg by my pain dr. My question is, since percocet and oxycontin have the same main ingredient in them except the apap that is in the percocet, will it show up the same on a u/a for the pain clinic? ## Yes, since they both contain Oxycodone, a test that checks for the specific opiate and its metabolites will show them both as being the same thing. What you could run into, however, is a problem if you have been taking more than the amount prescribed. Most pain management clinics use tests that also show the level of the opiate(s) in your body, to make sure you are using them as prescribed. They will expect the levels to be in a certain range, so if they are higher than the expected amounts, it could cause you a problem. Are there any other que...

How long does Percocet stay in system

I recently took some percocet to help with a bach ache. It was given to me by a neighbor. How long will it stay in my system when it comes to drug testing? ## Depending on the Miligrams and how many times you a day you take it, Percocet can stay in your system for up to 2 to 4 days. To learn more click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## A person that has little fat on them it don't take as long to get out of your system as it does a person with fat on them. It usally take about 72 hours to get out of youe system. The first poster is right it depends on how much you took. But even if you took 2-3 in one day it should be out of your system in 72 hours. says on one side 512 the other side has line going across it what is it ## Based on the description provided, I found the pill to be Acetaminophen + Oxycodone hydrochloride (325 mg - 5 mg). If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## im on 10/500 4 times a day will taking 2 512 percocets at the same time hurt me ## You're taking 40 mgs of oxycodone as it is, 10 extra mgs isn't going to hurt I'm sure your bottle may say 4-6 times a day the 512s are 5mg oxycodone. What you need to watch is how much Tylenol you're putting in your body, that can give you a stroke or liver problems and failure among other things. Be careful if you're in more pain tel...

percocet white pill m 30

percocet 30 - is there such a drug? what color is it, and are there any written numbers on it? ## No, there is no Percocet that contains 30mgs of Oxycodone. There are, however, tablets that just contain 30mgs of Oxycodone, by itself, without the Acetaminophen. I could not possibly post descriptions of all of them. One is a very pale blue, often thought to be white, with a boxed M on one side and 30 on the other. Does this match your tablet? If not, post back with a more detailed description, such as shape and color and I will look it up for you. ## I found a pill w/ a M, boxed in on 1side; and 30 on half of the other side. Pill is small round and white, anyone know what med it is???? ## The pill with an M in a box and 30 on the opposite side contains 30mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Ro...
