Prescription Card

On physcian's advice, I have taken OTC Cardiotek for many years. The price has more than doubled since I started taking it - from about $35 to almost $90. TRICARE formulary lists two prescription versions, only one of which is available through the TRICARE mail order pharmacy. The difference is a hyphen. CARDIOTEK-RX is available; CARDIOTEK RX is not. I know that CARDIOTEK RX is manufactured by SJ Pharmaceuticals. Does anyone know who makes CARDIOTEK-RX? ## It is the same exact thing, made by the same company. ## Cardiotek and Cardiotek-RX are different by what is in them. The price is the same for either.

My daughter has been prescribed by her cardiologist losarten25my as a prevention again aorta enlargement due to her congenital aortic bicuspid valve. We just found out her doctor prescribed 50my by accident for months and she had been suffering a lot of side effects, depression, anxiety,aches pains, dizziness ,feeling cold until a doctor checked her blood pressure and discovered the mistake,reduced it to 25my, How long will it take for her to feel better ,her blood pressure is as low as 88/65 ## It may take a few weeks, since she's been taking the higher dosage for several months, according to the NIH. Is she feeling better, yet? Is she on any other medications? She may also experience increased urination and diarrhea.

WHICH MAJOR PHARMACY HONORS YOUR CARD? DOES CVS HONOR IT? ## Yes, CVS should honor this site's discount card and so should a lot of other pharmacies. If you go to the rx lookup page you should be able to pull a list of pharmacies within a certain distance of your zip code. The address to that is I know you asked this earlier in the month, but I hope it helps!

Dear reader, My cardiologist gave me Diovan 60. That has been around now for some time. These pills are packaged in 14 pills per strip. Now this pill changed to Valstartan/Hydrochlorothiazide 125/75 mg, and these pills are packaged in strips of 10 pills. Do you know where I can still get these 14 day strips? I have a prescription from my cardiologist available. Thanks for your reply. Henno R., Netherlands {edited for privacy}

Hello. I am hoping someone can give me an idea of how much I'll have to pay per month to start taking Ozempic? I have BCBS insurance but has anyone tried to buy Ozempic without insurance using the savings card? If so, how much did you have to pay? I really need this medicine so I can get healthy again. ## If you go to a private drug store, ask the owner if they can get it for cheap. I did. ## Do not take this if you are not diabetic. THEY need these meds. But if you have to pay cash, AAA gives a really good discount at chain pharmacies. My $90 meds became $30 but CVS told me someone’s $900 dog meds became $90 with AAA. If your pharmacy is not used to processing these you might have to go to the AAA website to look at the discount card to get the bin number, but a lot of the ch...

I had to pay over $300.00 for my scripts,over half of what am used to paying for them...any help PLEASE!?!?! ## Hello, Kimmy! How are you doing? I am very sorry about how much you had to spend. Did you ask them? They should be able to let you know which ones they accept. Another alternative that may save you some money would be to get the Walgreen's card. It cost $25 a year, but when I used it, it did save me a lot more than what it cost. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

What prescription drug can replace Norvasc and Cartia with low incidence of side effects. I already take Lisiniprol and Atenolol. ## Dr. just replaced novasc & lipitor with cadulet 10mg/20mg. He said this one pill will work better than those two pills. I'm also trying to find out side effects. ## Caduet is a combination medication that contains Amlodipine, which is used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, with Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. Learn more Caduet details here. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches. As to medications to replace others, it is usually best to discuss such things with your doctor, because there's really no way to say that any particular medication may cause you less side e...

I was prescribed 60mg of imdul when i complained of recurring slight chest pain after a 2 minuets walk but pain disappears when i take a short rest and can then finish my walk with no pain. Few days before prescription arrived started not having the pain. Should i still take the medication when it arrived? Thanks. ## Hello, Ruben! How are you? Did they do any testing, such as as an EKG, or did they just prescribe the medication? It really depends on that. If they did testing and said that you need the medication, you should take it, but if not, you may want to get a second opinion from a cardiologist. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache.

Contrave is not covered by my insurance. I have the discount card provided by the manufacturer. Any suggestions on which pharmacy offers the best prices? ## Hi Katie, what is your current cash price and zip code? I know this site offers a free discount card which may be able to offer you a savings. There is also a lookup tool which you can use to see what the cost would be. For example, in my area 30 tablets came out to around $61. Hope this helps!

My doctor just renewed my prescription for eemt (originally estratest) but my insurance won't cover it and the pharmacy said it would be $407.00 for a 90 day supply. I can't afford it any longer. I have used estratest &/or eemt for many years and it was the only thing that works. My hot flashes and night sweats are miserable. The pharmacy said it was not "Obama care" that cut off our HT. ## Hello, TutuTerri! How are you? Many insurance plans are starting to question covering HRT, due to the possible risks that can be associated with it, such as cancer and cardiac events.
