I found out I was 16 weeks pregnant on xenical. Could that have harmed the baby? ## Hello, Cathy! How are you? Congratulations! It is recommended that it should not be taken during pregnancy, by the U.S. FDA, to because of evidence of harm, but due to the fact that weight loss offers no benefit to a pregnancy woman and could harm the baby. It would be best to inform your doctor that you were taking it, to be safe, but the risk of harm this early on is very low. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello Everyone Just wanted to let you all know that you need to be aware of fake Orlistat pills being offered for sale as generics to Alli. I bought what I thought were generic Alli 120mg but was sent blue capsules filled with a white powder instead. I know for a fact that the active ingrediant in Alli (Orlistat), is actually small white bead-type drug. So, what is this powder? Only God knows! Need to know when these expire. The ones I have are dated 2005. Are they fake?? I took them years ago and they are suppose to stop my body from digesting fat. Can you get coupons for Xenical 120 mg? For 90 a month for six scripts? I was prescribed this med but it is expensive for me. It works and since I having trouble getting weight off. Xenical contains the active ingredient Orlistat, it helps block fat absorption to aid in weight loss and it available over the counter under the brand name Alli. Many medications can pass to the baby in your breast milk. What has your doctor advised? Xenical contains the active ingredient Orlistat, it is used to prevent the absorption of fat in the body. Yeduc contains the active ingredient Sibutramine. Generally, these both must be used only under a doctors supervision and really shouldn't be combined.

I've used Xenical before and had excellent results but as soon as I came off the tablets and carried on eating low fat the weight came back. I have recently been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome which causes pre diabeties which in turns causes weight gain! Consequently I am back on the Xenical to loose the weight again.
