I have a pill that is blank on one side and the letters LDE on the other side. It is a lighter yellow in color and oblong in shape. I don't know what it is. Help? ## @worried, Is this something you ordered off the internet or found on the street perhaps? Only wondering because there aren't any relevant matches that fit this description in my searching. However any additional clues you might have relating to its origin may also help narrow down potential results. One other thing I ask is if there's any way you can double check the imprint to make the letters are exactly as you stated, since sometimes they can be misinterpreted depending on the condition of the tablet or font being used. large yeloow oblong or oval pill with a 0 with a line through iy loke the do not signs. ## Hi Tara, Unfortunately, based on the description provided, this pill isn't listed in the prescription drug databases, so I can't find any information on it. Did you possibly find this pill somewhere or obtain it from a friend? I don't think this pill was manufactured in the U.S., as it has no letter or number imprints along with the circle. In all the U.S. drug databases, you can only search by letters and/or numbers, and not by the type of symbol it has. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage...

Found 4 small light yellow oblong pills under my 15 year son's bed. Does any body know what these pills are? ## No, I'm sorry, but I've tried searching for this in our various U.S. prescription drug resources, even altering the imprint and I can't find any listings for anything close to this. This leads me to suspect that it is an over the counter item, although there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Have you asked your son about them? Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## Naproxen 500 mg which I was prescribed. You need to find out why your son is taking these because this potency is through a prescription only I am told.

Oval or oblong light peach pill 50 imprint on one side split line on the other ## Hi Timberly, Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is an oblong yellow pill with 50 on one side and scored on the back. This particular tablet is reportedly identified as ReVia (Naltrexone), used primarily for alcohol and opioid dependence. However, I've yet to come across any specific details on the dosage or manufacturer. I also realize that the color is slightly off in comparison, but because everything else appears to match up I thought this could at least help narrow down your search efforts if anything. Does anyone else here recognize this pill?

I can't be any more specific than that. But thank you maybe I am not seeing the numbers right ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? If you flip the pill, is it possible that it's actually a 15, rather than 87? I think what you've found is a tablet manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim that they list as being a 15mg Mobic tablet. The active ingredient is Meloxicam and the FDA classifies it as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
