Medicine For Gas And Acidity

My father has acidity problems. There is pain in the upper part of the stomach, mostly after dinner/evening. The doctor (Gastroentrologist) said that it is GERD and prescribed the following medicine, Capsule P-ZOLE-L, Tablet BIZLO-OD, Syrup LACTIHEP, Syrup CRISLIN and tablet ETICLID. He also advised for UGIE (endoscopy). He developed the gas and acidity condition after the treatment for diabetes and also has inguinal hernia. I am bit confused as the medicines keep changing when we see another doctor and the problem still remains. Kindly advice whether the prescribed medicines are safe and are for the treatment of the problem mentioned. It is problem because of hernia? can hernia operation be done in this condition? Kindly reply and advice. Thank you.

I have been having Razo 20 for last five years early morning.After breakfast and do not have Acidity problem. The day i forget having it i have a problem. Is Gastritis,Ulcer , Acidity - all mean the same ? Gas released out by farting and belching are same ? I am having Gas trouble and recent days acid secretion and in endoscopy found that lower end of esophagus had been eroded. Doctor has suggested me to take Omeprazole and Rabiprazole tablets. I am having High Bp 140/90 and some times 140/100, for the last 10 years. first 8 years I was put on Atenol 25mg. Two years back my cardiologist changed my medicine to Telma-H(40mg). This year when I went through regular check up my BP was 140/100 and sugar levels were 125 FBS and 170 PBS. The LDL was 140mg. Hi, Recently my mother was prescribed Livpride -25 by doctor for treatment of acidity. When we purchased the drug from chemist, we got Sulpride-25 containint Levosulpride salt. As the name was different, I checked over net and found that a drug with very similar name of salt(Levosulpiride) was an anti psychotic drug. So i went back to the chemist, checking whats wrong, and was given Livpride-25 which has Levosulpiride and was told that it was the actual prescription. Sir I Am 28 Year old (male) And Suffering From mild constipation problem for the past 8-9 years. I lived outside home for last 4 years and had to eat outside food . What is PAN-D capsule used for? ## I'm sorry, I can't find any information on this. Can you tell me what country it was prescribed in? ## PAN-D is reported to contain the active ingredients Domperidone + Pantoprazole, which are used to suppress nausea and vomiting and for short-term treatment of erosion and ulceration of the esophagus caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, respectively. I have been prescribed Nexpro 20 for flatulence caused by wysolone and methotrexate, which I am taking for RA. Yet I read everywhere that flatulence is a side effect of Nexpro. Hello. I m Avni,age 19, suffered from bloody stools for 2 days before a month and was given antibiotic and laxative thenafter i suffered from gas/acidity while my laxative was on.
