I have been on sertraline by Greenstone for a few years with great results. My pharmacy switched me to aurobindo sertraline and I have been on a downward spiral. I am having severe anxiety, insomnia, jittery, extremely tired, verbally agressive and just not feeling good. Have you received any complaints regarding sertraline by Aurobindo. Why doesn't the pharmacy inform us when they change manufactors? And do you have any information ,questions or complaints regarding sertraline by Cipla USA. Please reply. PLEASE AND THANK YOU....... ## They should inform you, while they are not required to do so, most pharmacy's will let you know that the new pills are different from your old ones, but they contain the same ingredient. The FDA does warn that Sertraline may cause side effects, su...

I've been taking Zoloft then Sertraline for twenty years and I'm SURE the brand is not the same. For the past few years, I've become very depressed again, but never thought it might be because of a lousy manufacturer (as happened with Lorazepam when Watson was bought by lousy Actavis). Does anyone know a good, effective BRAND of Sertraline that has helped them a lot with depression? I order from Costco but can't figure out the brand on the label - will call tomorrow and ask. What a jungle this is becoming. Just not right. ## Hello, Denise! How are you? After being on it for 20 years, it is also possible that your body had just become tolerant to it and it no longer works as well for you. It is completely normal for that to happen and it usually will eventually happen wit...

I need to know if the blue oval pills with 123 on one side and IG on the other side is good for treating a toothache? ## Can you please double check the marking and post back? The closest I've found has the marking IG 213, which is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals, they list it as containing 50mgs of Sertraline (NDC 31722-0213). This is an antidepressant that is also used to help treat anxiety, so not it would not help with a toothache. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain. Ref: DailyMed ## Is a blue pill with IG 23 a xanax? ## See Verwon's reply # 1 along with the photo - Does your blue tablet have the marking IG 213 instead of IG 23?

After researching online and my own experience, camber sertraline works as well as greenstone. I could only take greenstone, now I’m on brand name Zoloft. Walgreens has a card from Pfizer that saves me hundreds of dollars a month. After a year I’ll need to get my insurance and doctor to approve a tier reduction for the price of the brand name. ## Hello J, I have some bittersweet news to deliver. It turns out that Greenstone was the generic brand owned by Pfizer, which is the company that manufactuers the brand name Zoloft. On the bright side the pills are nearly identical only differing in color dye inactive ingredients. From what I read it was no longer in the companies best interest to continue manufacturing the generic and decided to only manufacture the brand name. If yo...

Has anyone that is currently prescribed Sertraline had any issues when taking Phentermine? Are there interactions between the two? ## Not a good idea . Zoloft is a leveler which pulls you down . Adderall is not the same thing as phentermine and should never be compared as such . ## A drug called Effexor or other anti depressant is often paired with any type of Behavior RX as combining bupropion with instead of a flattening drug like Zoloft/Sertraline can produce painful behaviors for the patient ## Sertraline, and Phentermine tend to increase the effects of each other, which may more severe side effects than usual, such as insomnia, nervousness, headache, and irritability. This combination could reach toxic levels, so it is generally best to avoid prescribing these medications together....

I have been taking two 25mg in Sertraline and now I take one 50mg, I prefer to take two 25mg tablets because taking a 50mg tablet is to much for me to take all at once, but my pharmacist say that they have never given me 25mg in sertraline, but I sure that they have. ## Have you talked to your doctor about writing the prescription as two 25mg tablets, rather than 50mgs? If so, then the pharmacy has to dispense them that way, regardless of what their past records show, so the problem would be eliminated. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Sertraline as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes. Ref: Medline Plus Sertraline

My blue 50 mg cipla sertraline pills get stuck in my throat. I can't dislodge them with water. They dissolve slowly, and feel like they are burning my throat. What is the ph of these pills? ## In most cases, that means that you aren't swallowing them with enough liquid. The proper way to take tablets is to place them as far back on your tongue as possible, to the point where you almost gag, then swallow them with a mouthful of water, and make sure to finish the full 8oz glass of water afterwards. If you are doing this, however, and are still having a problem, you should consult your doctor as it might be indicative of some other problem, such as acid reflux damage, or esophageal spasms. The reason it doesn't dislodge with water, or other liquid, is because the pill isn't...

What is a green pill with LU on one side and 602 on the other? ## I think that the imprint should actually read LU G02 where the G kind of looks like a 6 and the 0 is more like a solid cutout (NDC 68180-0468). Check out the image on the Lupin Pharma product page for Lovastatin 20 mg, which is a cholesterol lowering drug. Does the image match what you found? The pills my mother got today were yellow oblong pills, but sertraline hcl are usually pinkish or blue... These yellow oblong shaped tabets are imprinted with LU on the front and d03 on the back. ## To be honest, the colors actually mean nothing, that is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. That said, she did get the correct pills. LU D03 does contain 100mgs of Sertraline, a generic for Zoloft, an antidepressant that is also used to treat other conditions, such as OCD. Its common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and headache. I've have been taking sertraline (zoloft) for years under prescription by a doctor. Now I moved to another country and decided to order it online at combitic global caplet pvt ltd in india.
