It's really tied their hands in many cases. I have moderate to severe Degenerative Disc Disease of Cervical Spine with severe narrowing (stenosis) along with bulging and herniated discs with severe arthritis (osteo) also in cervical spine with boney spurs. I have Sciatica, Spondeliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease and Fibromyalgia in both my hips & legs, I have had 3 sets of nerve blocker injections that did not help. Hello I need to find a new pcp in Richmond, VA that will take over prescribing my medications. I have a history of lyme disease, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, chronic anxiety. I was informed by my pcp that I would no longer be treated after over three years of being a patient. Plz, does anyone know any drs that prescribe Methadone for pain in Tappahannock or Richmond Va. area? ## Had spinal stenosis surgery, triple lactomactomy and when I came out was way worse. My surgeon said to go to their pain management and get an idea of what they came up with on file for any doctor to see or said to call them and they would help come up with a plan. They had me on methadone and oxycodone. My surgery was in 2009. I tried not to get on methadone. I was nervous. In January of this year, I tore my ACL. Due to outsourcing, I know that if I take the time off work I will probably not have a job when I return. Been dealing with this chronic pain for 8 years. Five years ago after trying every cream, soaks, acid cream, non-narcotic pain medications, anti-depressants and surgery, I was prescribed Percocet 5-375. This provided me relief enough I could do "normal" things like go out to eat and a movie, trips up to 3 hours, wearing semi normal clothes. Then my doctor retired (Richmond va) and for 7 months I have been trying to find a doctor.......it's not going to happen. Now I am taking 1/2 of pill 3 times a day or 4 times if we have an invite for dinner (which is happening less and less). Is there any help? I have spinal stenosis, arthritis and 2 herniated discs for which I have had surgery. My current pain med doc won't go any higher then 50mgs of tramadol 3 times a day and that is it. Nothing else prescribed. He says nothing else will help and just go have surgery. I am not looking to take 10 mg of MS or anything. I just need something to help when the pain gets too bad several times a week. The tramadol does not work anymore. Does anyone know of a place in Hampton Roads VA that will help? ## I do not know of a place there. It's hard to find those dr around Richmond area,, there are some but you need to get a primary doctor. And ask to be referred to pm.. Hello. I'm 29, a mother of two with Crohn's disease, and a former soldier. Last thing we tried is a Morphine pump at 0.4998 a day and not even that is helping the pain. I don't know why my body just not reacting and life is been especially miserable. I found a pain management doctor in the other side of Virginia and even when I explain the morphine pump is not helping they blew me off. At this point my pcm is compassionate enough to help me out with steroids and other stuff for pain but I feel like I'm broken or something. I live in richmond va and I have fibro and degenerative disk! I have been on every drug known to man! My doc put me on methadone and now he is retired! I was going to another doctor in the practice but he just dumped me for the drugs not showing up in a urine test! I couldn't figure out why cuz I take my meds!
