which is stronger enantyum 25mg or ibuprofen 200mg
9 Replies RSS
Fell in france and ankle is just short of broken and was prescribed enantyum 25mg tablets. Managed to work out that they're ibuprofen. I'm from the uk and am used to 200mg as a standard tablet. ## No, they are NOT Ibuprofen, these tablets contain 25mgs of Dexketoprofen, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, but much stronger than Ibuprofen, hence such a low dosage. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. Read more: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Can I take Melfen 400mg and Paramol together to help with sciatic pain in my back hip and knee. ## Should I still take Omprazole when I have been proscribed Enantyum 25mg? ## Can I take Enantyum 25 if I take Omprazole? ## Can I take enantyum25mg with aspirin which I have to ...

If I Took Hydrocone And Oxycodone Had A Drug Test The Next Day Will It Show Up As Different
15 Replies RSS
i take hydrocodone on a management basis for back pain my doctor prescribedhydromet for a chronic cough i had when i was sick will these show up as two different drug classes on a drug test ## Same narcotic, just different form. ## Well, it depends exactly what you're asking about. In your subject line you say Hydrocodone and Oxycodone and, if you are asking about taking them both, then yes, they would both show as different substances on a drug test. However, as was already stated, the Hydromet also contains Hydrocodone, so if that's what you're referring to, then both would show up as the same substance. Are there any other comments or questions? ## I took an 80mg oxy Tuesday an was drug tested wendsday. An I took 5 loritabs wendsday morning. Will the oxy and loritabs test...

how many mg are in oxycodone

How many milgrams are inside 1 30 milgram pill of oxycodone ## Hello, Bigtime! How are you? A 30mg tablet would contain 30mgs of the medication. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Are you seriously asking a question with your answer before the actual question. People are getting dumber and dumber, so pathetic.

what is the difference between oxycodone and hydrocodone
19 Replies RSS
my Dr has changed my medication fron norco to percocet, and now my feet and ankles are swelling severely. What is the difference between hydrocodone and oxycodone? ## They are both narcotic analgesics, however, the Oxycodone is stronger than they Hydrocodone. Oxycodone, by itself, doesn't usually cause peripheral edema, however, it could be the Acetaminophen, since it can sometimes cause people to retain fluids and, if that is what is causing it, it would have also happened with the Norco. Have you consulted your doctor? Whenever edema occurs, it is very important to discover what is causing it, since it can be a sign of other serious medical conditions. Even swelling of the feet and legs can be a sign of congestive heart failure. ## This isn't listed as a common side effect in ...

I was in a horrible accident. My Dr. Put me on Dilladid 4 mg. After a half month I cut myself down to Daladid 2 mg. When that was gone, my Dr. Put me on Oxycodone 10, to keep down withdrawls. I've been on these apx. 2 weeks. Is it safe to now cut dose down, and how should I go about it? I DON'T WANT IT NEED THE WITHDRAWAL ## It is not a time released medication, so as long as your doctor approves, you should be able to cut the pills to gradually reduce your dosage. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Concerns about lumps on abdomen
1 Reply RSS
OK I am not sure what to do. I have been complaining for months regarding hypersensitive skin on my abdomen. The Doc has been no help and has guessed several different things. Now there are visible lumps, one on the left and one on the right. I've done an Ultrasound which was inconclusive. I have a CT Scan scheduled, but wanted to ask if anyone has ever experienced anything like this? I have been on Morphine & Oxycodone for years relating to back and neck injuries. The meds do not help very much for the pain. It hurts so much that I take my shirt off as soon as I get home. U/A showed both White and Red blood cells. I have no infection so questions relating this have gone unanswered to date as well. I have started to worry about some sort of cancer? I am just about to loose my mi...

Black imprint A 04 on only ONE Pain Pill. All rest not black
Post a Reply
Hi, My wife had surgery and Dr gave Prescription for 5mg of oxycodone pills for bouts of pain in recovery .All the pills are small white round with A04, however It caught my eye that out of them I saw one that has the A04 imprint just like others but letters/numbers seem to be filled lightly in black and all the rest are identical with no black liner in the A04, but this ONE particular pill on the A04 imprint the letters and number are filled in black on the imprint. I thought this to be strange since all the others are not in black . Is this normal ?Manufacturing glitch possibly ? Not sure and don't want to take any chances in her taking this one particular pill, Should probably call pharmacy when its open just to make sure but thought I may find info online and found this Q & A h

hydrocodone 50 mg capsule?
1 Reply RSS
What pill is this small red capsule with a white powdery substance in it? I was told it's hydrocodone 50 mgs. ## Hello, how are you? I have to say that I find it very doubtful. The only 50mg dosage available of Hydrocodone is a time released version that is sold under the brand name Zohydro... and under current FDA laws, unique imprints on such manufactured tablets and capsules are required, in order to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Are there any markings on this capsule? If so, please post back and clarify, so I can research further for you. Thus, while there is a small chance that it could be a foreign medication, since other countries are not obligated to abide by U.S. laws, it is much more likely that it is just some type of over the counter product and shou...

Drug Interaction Concerns

I'm taking aspirin (81mg daily), efficient (15mg), coreg (6.25mg daily), isosorbide mono er (30mg once daily), nifedipine er (30mg daily), 20mg lasix daily, 40mg lipitor (1 at night), metformin (250mg as needed), losartan potassium (100mg daily), potassium cl micro (10 mg once daily) and protonix ec (40 mg twice a day). Are any of these meds interacting with one another? ## There is always a possibility of interactions, but it really depends on you, according to NIH reports. Are you having any problems taking them all? Have you experienced any side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headaches, or diarrhea? Why is the Metformin an as needed medication? That is odd, it usually meant to be taken regular to control blood sugar levels, or treat conditions such as PCOD/PCOS. What conditi...

Can someone please let me know what this is? I have a white round pill with 44 on top and 104 on the bottom and blank on the other side. Is it percocet or only acetaminophen? ## This tablet is now manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic or store brand of Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am stopping Norco and starting morphine same milligram dosage and just questioning if there will be any withdrawals since I am just switching meds there will always be meds on board no time. Without however because of the switch from an opioid to an opiate will there be any withdrawals? ## What are the relevant dosages? And opioid and an opiate are just two words for the same thing. I have a prescription for the yellow norco10 325.I've taken these for years and now I can't get them .the white ones does not help.I have Arthritis very bad and I really need to know who still carries them in the Mansfield,Arlington,Tx area. I'm 70 and these are the only ones that helps without me having to sleep my life away on the stronger pain meds.that I have taken. i'm 70 so I'll probably be sleeping soon enough. SO in the mean time I would like to have my yellow norco10 325 back. ## Hello, Della! How are you? doctors who will prescribe pain medication in rhode island

I am looking for an MD or Pain clinic that will prescribe pain medication in Rhode Island. I have 4 herniated discs, nerve damage in my leg, severe migraines. My former Md said that he could not longer prescribe due to the regulations, I dont want to have to move, that would be crazy to have to go through that, but I also do not want to continue living night and day in Agony, with not one Md that has any compassion, it seems all they care about is to look out for themselves, I only take 2 pain medications that I believe are both in class 1, but when you talk to a doctor about pain, they tell you to take tylenol. I am tired of theses doctors just caring about themselves, if you have a patient like myself, that has the MRI's and Catscans to show what my pain level is, they should be a...

I had a dr who was prescribing me 150 30mg roxycodone every month. He decided the past month that he no longer is writing them and is only writing subs. I cannot find a dr who will write me my script. Can anyone suggest anyone? ## Who was the doctor ## I'm sorry about the problem that you've run into. However, you're not going find a doctor to just write you your prescription, as a matter of fact, if you're contacting doctors to ask them about prescribing such a medication, they're all going to be inclined to tell you no and not even let you get in the door, because they consider that to be drug seeking behavior. Have you tried asking that doctor to refer you to a pain management specialist? ## i know plenty of drs in nj who prescribe oxycodone and other pain meds 2 ...

i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds. So if anybody knows of any it would be helpful. i live in KY so as long as it is closer that's fine. Thank you. ## Well, the main problem is really when you go in and ask for a specific medication, in a specific dosage. Many doctors will look at this as drug seeking behavior. Whenever you see a new doctor, you need to make certain that you don't demand specific treatment, but you do want to take your medical records with you, or see that copies are sent to them. That way, they can see what has and hasn't worked for you in the past, plus they can see the results from any prior tests you've...

Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado
5301 Replies RSS
I have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If...

Allergic To Nsaids Dont Like Narcotics And Tramadol Isnt On The 4dollar List Anymore What Can I Take For Pain Besides Tylenol
6 Replies RSS
I have been taking Tramadol for at least 9 years now for chronic post-surgical right knee pain, back pain, and Arthritis. They just took Tramadol off of the $4 list at wal-mart and Target. I do not like narcotics because they make me feel sick, and have horrible withdrawal symptoms and side effects. I am already physically dependent on the Tramadol so I don't want to make it any worse by adding a Narc to it. I am allergic to NSAIDS to the point that if I take them it will kill me, Tramadol is becoming to expensive, and Tylenol doesn't even come close to alleviating my pain, I am in so much pain all of the time...what pain meds can I take that isn't expensive, works well on severe bone and joint pain and not an NSAID??? ## Actually, Tramadol is classified as an opiate/narcotic...

doctors who will prescribe pain medication richmond va

I am looking for a compassionate doctor in the Richmond VA area who will prescribe pain medication. ## HI, BlueBell! How are you? The current situation isn't that doctors aren't compassionate, it's that there are strict regulations in place regarding what they can and cannot prescribe, how much they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and why they can prescribe it. It's really tied their hands in many cases. If you have a condition that requires strong pain medications for long-term treatment of chronic pain, then your best bet is most likely going to be to see a pain management specialist. Do you have a general practitioner that you see regularly who may be able to refer you to someone? Does anyone else know of a good doctor in that area? ## I do know a pain d...
