hi, i have been suffering from acidity for a long time. i had been prescribed mucagaine gel a few months back and i had a good relief from it. This time, again i used the same prescription and took one bottle but in vain. I am having no relief from it, it is giving relief for just time being. Can I take Pan-D or Omez, if yes, should it be taken on an empty stomach or after meals, please advise.

i am 67 yrs old i had a by-pass in the u.s in 2009 when i visited my daughter in the USA .when i came to india after two and a half months I visited a cardiac and was prescribed with generic medicines . After about 10 months the doctor took my stress test, and I had to do angiopiasty, he prescribed lipicard 160 and selekon xl 50 and several other medicines. two months back I visited a diabetic specialist. He discarded lipicard 160 and prescribed Trajanta 5 mg and gabantin forte, now I am having problem with my bowel movement and acidity bile problem. what is your suggestion ?

Is Gastritis,Ulcer , Acidity - all mean the same ? Gas released out by farting and belching are same ? Hi, My mother was suffering from Abdomen TB. She got operated 5 months back. After operation, she was given AKT4 tablet for 4 months and then shifted on AKT3 & Neurobion tablets. But now she is facing problem of continuous acidity and vomitting feel. What could be the reason that after reducing one tablet also acidity increasing? had mild chest pain, thought ecosprin 75 reduce pain so I took one after reading some of blogs here. after 5 to 6 hrs I am having burning effect in whole body. what should I do to release the effect? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Exactly what do you mean by a burning effect in your whole body? Ecosprin contains Aspirin and it can certainly cause excess stomach acid, but that burning sensation would not involve your entire body. If you're experiencing a burning sensation throughout your whole body, then you should consult a doctor.

I have been suffering from stomach problems (IBS) for 5 years. My dr prescribed me levosulpiride and rabeprazole tablets. Is levosulpiride or rabepraxole a stomach acid blocker? ## Rabeprazole helps prevent your stomach from producing as much as acid, by shutting some of the proton pumps. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence. Hi, Recently my mother was prescribed Livpride -25 by doctor for treatment of acidity. When we purchased the drug from chemist, we got Sulpride-25 containint Levosulpride salt. As the name was different, I checked over net and found that a drug with very similar name of salt(Levosulpiride) was an anti psychotic drug. So i went back to the chemist, checking whats wrong, and was given Livpride-25 which has Levosulpiride and was told that it was the actual prescription. Hello Doctor, This is Abhishek, 27yr old. From may years I have Gastric, Acidity and Heart burn problem. Firstly, 3 years back I ometed and at the end small amount of blood came with the omete. Second time, 1.5 years back I ometed again due to over drinking and at the end 5ml of blood came with omete. Third time, lask week I was over drunk and ometed again, this time at the last 10-15ml of dark blood came with omete. My father has acidity problems. There is pain in the upper part of the stomach, mostly after dinner/evening. The doctor (Gastroentrologist) said that it is GERD and prescribed the following medicine, Capsule P-ZOLE-L, Tablet BIZLO-OD, Syrup LACTIHEP, Syrup CRISLIN and tablet ETICLID. He also advised for UGIE (endoscopy). He developed the gas and acidity condition after the treatment for diabetes and also has inguinal hernia. I am bit confused as the medicines keep changing when we see another doctor and the problem still remains.
