Snorting Dilaudid (Top voted first)

my freind has an addiction to oxycontin, and now she has dilaudid 4 mg, and she plans on taking it too, b/c one of her freinds said that its like oxycontin and that she would get the same effect. does anyone no if its safe to do so?

Okay, for anyone who's complaining stfu. Yeah, obviously it's not good for you; people know that. If you weren't so blinded by your own ignorance you'd come to realize debauchery and temptation are natural cravings. On the other hand, this question is very useful for first time user such as myself. I'm looking for an honest answer to this question, not someones two cents as to how they think drugs are bad.

I was a heavy drug addict for many years. I been clean. I been dirty. I been clean. I been dirty. Its a vicious cycle. Meth messed up my knees. Ive lost the cartilage because of walking days and days and bicycle. I overused them. Its going to be a year since I done meth. As for alcohol. Last halloween I ended up in ICU 3 days throwing up blood from another ulcer and needed blood transfusion. I have done the pain management and I graduated. I take morphine and dialludid for my pain. They say I need it for the rest of my life. But when those loose effect they will switch to oxy and fentaly for a while then go back. They say its the new way how they deal with pain patients. No cold turkey works for them. Believe me I take the meds and they work. I dont over use them. But I can feel sometime I need double for the pain gets bad. I got arthritis too on the knees. They told me loose weight to do knee surgery. Ive lost over 55lbs since January. Still bad knees and they want me to loose more. I wear braces. I walk with a cane. I am only 33. I been told to look pretty as a model but that dosent mean nothing. But I wanted to ask. Has anyone taken a 4mg of dillaudid? What does it feel like. Do you get effects like methamphetamine or do you get mellow like heroin? What do you feel and how long does it take to feel it? I have taken other pills before and some have made me sick for days. But what does it feel like for dillaudid. Just 1 4mg pill.

I can tell you what I don't like is this Heehaw person, addicts like me and some of these other people know that its bad for you, I'm pretty sure we do.

Hi. I am 29 yrs old, and a busy mother of 3 yr old twins and a 7 yr old girl. I have systemic lupus and fibromyalgia and lately have had severe kidney infections and ruptured cysts on my ovaries. I take tramadol each day to help with my first diagnoses, but get put on 5-10 mg oxycodone or 4 mg dilaudid short-term to help me get past the pain of the other 2 problems.
I tried crushing the dilaudid this time since it made me vomit when I took it orally, and it worked much faster and for more hours. I noticed I was able to take 2-3 by mouth and then wait for a long time for it to kick in, but I took 1-2 dilaudid 4mg pills the other way and was MUCH better and calm, less pain, no waiting for more than 10 minutes to feel it work, and stayed feeling much better for hours, rather than by mouth and waiting for hours while still in pain.
I hope this helps people who are asking what it feels like, etc....
I felt tingly almost had heavy arms and legs when it first started to work, itchy face and chest, felt tired sometimes but then awake again, relaxed, calm (which rarely happens, being a single mother of 3 children!! Lol), and overall prefer taking them that way rather than orally taking them. Make sure you test one out at a time...they kick in fast and just know your tolerance of them before crushing too many.

i have abused a lot of dilaudid for a long time with no problems but that may be since i am a big man and used to be a heroin addict. i now take 4mg of it 8 times a day

I am a recovering heroin addict who is on methadone maintenance. Like my friend Taupinjohn said, sure it feels great, but I don't want anyone to do this either. What starts out as fun on the weekend turns out to be a full time job b4 you realize it. It is dangerous to take any narcotic unless your doctor prescribes it for you, and even though it is a better high snorting or shooting it up, think it through..I can't tell you not to do it, but if you do, please don't do it alone and if something happens call 911, no one will get into any trouble..Whatever you decide, be very careful

I've taken D a few times, in my opinion it works better than any other pain pill and the effects are better than oxycontin.

Most people I know say Dilaudid's a waste. I don't feel one, two relaxes me, and three puts me pretty much where I like to be. I don't want anyone to do ANYthing, though, just because I'm posting that I like it. As another poster said, we're all different (chemistry, body weight, tolerance, etc.) Just my two pence, of course. {edited for safety}

So, I am one hundred pounds, five foot two and a half... and my friends and I were taking up to nine dilaudid a day of the highest mg they make... We didnt die... We mighta puked once or twice but thats it. {edited for safety}

Rose -- First off I truly do understand your sentiment. I am sure that something has happened to you personally or more likely someone you love which has caused such passion in your advice. It is not bad advice either so please let me be clear. I am only posting to make the following observation.
I am not sure if you intended on spelling everything wrong in your post. But if you are going to tell someone how ignorant they are then at least tern yer spel chek on!!

i take dilludad pills 4mg and i will pop one in the am as soon as i get up and chip at one for the rest of the say. I love them it is an awsome feeling and to me is a mircle pill. I use to take meth years ago now i prefer dilludad and am fine with that...

I take alot of dilaudid.. I am not proud of it. The side effects are they make it very difficult to concentrate and put you in a strange dream like state. Even though they make you feel good I know I really need some help.. I don't want to die.

Guys i have taken them, and im 15 i had a bad accdedent and was almost paralized. What you should do is talk to your doctor about medical marijuana if your over 18. I was on morfine for a month and when i got to go home i took cannabis and i had no pain. dont get addicted, get weed.

No. Nobody needs drugs we are just addicts. Some less some more. Trying it is just pushing your luck.

I never taken Dilauds intravenously, I just had what was left from a prescription after I exploded my kidneys for drinking and driving. It never ends.

Thing is we all made the choice. It's nice to get advice here, but should one be handing out patronizing moral advice on a web site such as this. Advice on how to do it safely via the administration of choice is what people are screaming for here, so get off your high moral horse. No, telling a junkie he / her has got to take them orally and not abuse them will get through at all so you are wasting your time 'cause if you've been one yourself you will know that is the dummest thing to tell any serious junkie

I am considering since I can't take the oxyop anymore I have been a chronic pain paient for 15 yr's that since the ops are no good for me, to go on the hydromorphone and the dilaudids for breakthrough. I just wanted to know is the opana the hydromorphone or what is it called? My Dr. prescribes good but the high numbers he won't go for. I would rather take the roxy ir's but the numbers to match what I had would be to high for him, that is his pet peeve. I have been on the oxymorphine before and it wasn't enough ms contin doesn't even work. the strait morphine in high does was good and worked but the dose of oxy 80 oc 3x day was worked best and I wasn't high on them looks like the morhine is the last thing available for me it made me a little loopy, and that I don't like I just want to function as good as possible and take care of evertyhing. I want to function it's not a get high for me, I think people who don't know anything about cronic pain and tlerance don't relealize that you really don't get high. you get as close to normal, like other people. pppeople really judge. I need the answer about the hydromorphone,and the er names. THANKS!

You don't have to be an addict to snort drugs.. I happen to be very successful, have excellent relationships, and am very fulfilled in my life... you aren't necessarily throwing your life away if you decide to do drugs.. even hard drugs. It's good to ask questions, have experiences, and make memories. {edited for safety}

try needing them for a legit stomach problem that cannot be identified then not being able to get em prescribed. my docs all refuse to give me anything besides vicoden for my stomach. so in pain i am forced to score these things like a damn criminal and usually spend all my extra money on them. every time i try to get clean i usually go a few days before im in the hospital in excrutiating pain. nine days the last time. in the hospital they give me 4 mg dilaudid injections and vicoden and that works for some reason tho without being able to put thier finger on my stomach problem they will not prescribe anything stonger than vicoden and sometimes dont wanna give me them. sometimes i think the only reason they wont is because im covered in tattoos. they actually drug test you in michigan before they can ggive you any pain meds i pass everytime. its gotta be tha tattoos, wat you guys think?

My 26 yr old daughter became ADDICTED TO OXY. FIRST ORALLY, THEN SNORTING THEN SHOOTING. In may she will be gone for a year now. Died from a "unintentional" overdose of oxycotin and liquid morphine. I pass no judgement. She was beautiful, brilliant and sick...an addict. /her daughter will never know her mother, and my heart will never heal. I paint on a smile and simply exist.
