Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 10)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

My doctor did give me percocet for breakthrough pain but with my cancer the 325 of whatever that is makes me sick and I am allergic to morphine. So I thought his advice of dilaudid was a sound idea until I found out by my regular pharmacist that all the roxy junkies had switched to just such medication so now I do not know what to take instead maybe our notorious pharmacist expert could pipe in here and tell me.

I have stomach cancer, fractured.discs, herniated and bulging discs, ulcerative colitis, r kidney hydronephrosis and a hernia, among other things. I have been on oxys 30 for over 8yrs & am told the manufact have closed down & florida will np longer carry them...what do I do? Withdrawals? Seizures? I am a nurse and cant work due to my pain.
What do I do??

8 yrs now, have built up a tolerance and cant get my meds anmore. I dont have insurance, and no pharmacies in tampa bay area carry them anymore coz they said the manufacturets

With regard to Anon's posts...As frustrating as it may be to not have immediate access to your prescription medications, I don't feel it's a fair assessment to consider Anon's posts cowardly or otherwise illegitimate. I am also a pain patient, I also have been on an oxycodone regimen for several years... My local pharmacy has been my pharmacy for over 25 years, when I was started on oxy, my pharmacist was more than happy to fill it for me, having known me and my family for several years, however, SHE left the pharmacy to retire. Once the new pharmacist came in, she refused to fill my medication, that was over a year ago, so for over a year, I was in the same boat as all the other folks that had to drive around for sometimes DAYS to get my meds filled.... My doctor and I brainstormed to get me on a different medication that would at least somewhat handle my level of tolerance and pain. He put me on 10 mg's of methadone, 3 times per day along with the oxy's initially, in January, I was in a car accident and severely broke my tibia. That caused me to undergo 4 surgeries and be in the hospital for over 2 weeks... The moral of the story here is that by the time I left the hospital, I was taking far less in oxycodone and using the methadone ONLY for pain relief. Not ONLY has it worked tremendously for my pain, I actually FEEL better knowing that GOD forbid it take me more than 3 days to fill my medication, I won't be violently ill because of withdrawls. I was so scared to try anything different and especially AFTER I crushed my leg and had THAT pain along with my Degeneration Pain....But today, I'm glad I did, because today I don't have to drive and drive and drive to get my meds. I only just wanted to say to everyone here, I was right where you all are, it's a super sucky situation for true pain patients, we've ALL been labeled "addicts" "junkies" and whatnot, simply because we're trying to live in a world without pain. I'm so sorry for any of you going through hell right now. My heart and prayers go up.

YOU ALL are FUNNY and LIARS and JUNKIES and make up STORIES about your INJURIES however, I INJURED MYSELF SEVERELY and am also in PAIN and also take MEDS and also need PAIN MANAGEMENT.... ALTHOUGH I am not FUNNY, nor did I make up a STORY about MY PAIN nor do I TAKE MEDS to GET a BUZZ. Alrighty then......

Thank you J I actually was on Roxy or oxys or whatever they call them for four years from a bad car accident and I had surgery to my jaw my low back and my shoulder on top of my breast implant being ripped from my seat belt into my armpit! But I had finally got off the 75 30's a month and tried suboxone and subutex and some nerve pain pill that starts with an N and then my pain Dr tried me on methadone 15 mg a day five three times a day and I did it for not even a week because he knew I was ADHD and on Adderral and I could not breathe while on them so my primary said I had to be allergic?? IDK but now as of two months ago I have been put at I guess its stage two Uterine cancer and they are doing this Lupron stuff along with reg treatments and I havent been able to get one pain med sript filled yet. I am in bed mostly thats it right now and on a good day of not throwing up living in bathroom I take my three step sons to their appts and school stuff and go to grocery store and of course my appts with my disability tag Thank God for those. But I dont know what to do now the acedametaphine sp? screws up stomach so no perc vic loritab etc and Im allergic to morphine and methadone Im pretty much screwed I guess mainly I go to ER alot and have to get pain med in IV while in treatments or if I cant take it ill go once in a while if I have pushed myself too much during week and go to ER for a dilaudid shot just so I can sleep restfully one night. Anyways thanks for replying to me it really helps knowing I am not alone and being singled out esp since Walgreens fills my Lupron which is 2500 and ive gone there almost five years now I think and my kids also get theur meds all these years there. :( Oh well I will continue to pray for all of you everynight that sonewhere around the bend there will be a light of hope and not the obe thats here to bring us to our end of our lives salvation and serenity. GOD BLESS US all because we are only becoming stronger through these struggles that society has laid upon us.

I have made good friends with my "new" pharmacist, the VERY same one that STOPPED filling my meds when she became the NEW Pharmacist....I just wanted to say, I honestly used to be just as ugly frustrated and ANGRY at pharmacists because of the horrible way I was treated.... Anon, me and my pharmacist NOW have an awesome relationship, but it is because she took the time to understand ME and I TOO took the time to understand HER on this VERY same subject of OXYCODONE..... Thank you for not calling us all idiots and making an attempt to help all of those hurting today tomorrow and every day. People, I promise there is a way to make you feel better, my way isn't necessarily going to be your way and vice verse and it may even take a few meds to work it out, but, it can be done and your aggravation can be over. It just breaks my heart to know how many of you are out there even tonight, tossing and turning, crying out in pain and even possibly withdrawal because of this awful epidemic Please excuse any misspellings, I'm tired and am just hoping I make my point. Not every pharmacist is a nice guy/lady, not every pain patient is either. I truly believe Anon is trying help, I honestly think we could benefit from seeing things from the flip side of the coin.

Hi Jeremy you stated you are a Paralegal how hard do you find it to complete tasks and such on pain medication at a law office? I only ask because I am at Edison State and have just a few math and two spanish and im done with both my degrees for AS Paralegal and AA general Education then going on for my BA prob online somewhere and want to get into a law office as soon as I possibly can. I just know that pain med does not slow me down at least in my opinion I have never fallin asleep or taken nore than prescribed I actually am famous for having med left ovet due to share of cost and not knowing when exactly it will be met. Anyways any advice or comment would be greatly appreciated I worked for Family law already Probate Bankruptcy and Real Estate law without my degree but now its just to strict and I am in a totally different county now. God knows I am in pain...I have ovarian cancer stemming rom my past syromal ca, I would never call Anyone a liar or addict or lmao!!

I yotally agree with you Lina someone sounded bipolar or there was two different Lisa I already marked it as spam because that kind of talk on this forum is unacceptable to people like us. I am awake in pain trying to soak in tub and then heat pads and then cold packs then my eyes are burning so bad since I am so tired but in so much pain I have insomnia hence this late hour. No one on this web page so far that I have spoke to deserved her comment it was very pore mannered and uncouth.

You've misunderstood me, I WAS NOT laughing at anybody... that was in response to another poster that popped off with "You people crack me up, trying to convince people that you're so hurt" something like that, I was laughing at another persons response to her stating that she's making fun of people talking about their injuries, then stating they're lying about them and then saying that they're JUST addicts. BUT, if you'd read a few pages back, you'll see EXACTLY what it was in reference to. I replied to HIS response, I had no idea it wouldn't at least REFERENCE his original post so that people could see what I was talking about..... I am a pain patient myself, I would NEVER laugh at ANYBODY going through what I've had to go through myself.... I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I will copy and paste into a new post, what that LMFAO post was all about.

Nobody who can walk is in that much pain as in need of that much medication... The fact of the matter is that all of you complaining that you can't fill your scripts are just victim to circumstance... Blaming "junkies" for making it harder to fill your scripts but you are only blaming yourself because you are in that category... The amount of meds I see you people say you take in your posts would be able to treat a 3,000 lb elephant... You aren't fooling anybody... If you weren't on medicaid you would actually be able to fill your scripts... Every pharmacy has oxy in stock, mostly in large bulk... They won't let somebody who has a 1 dollar copay fill it there because they don't make any money off of it... I work in a pharmacy and I prepare prescriptions for people all day long... My boss (who is obviously a licensed pharmacist) turns down people all the time and he reserves that right... If you are willing to pay 2 dollars per pill to fill your script then he will gladly fill it for you... If you are a junkbox and you come in there with a medicaid card trying to get it without even having a copay then you aren't getting anything... Pay cash or get off meds... Or stop faking disabilities and get back to work so you can get a good insurance... And to the small percent of people who actually do have REAL pain, I wish you all the best... But some of these people need to stop fooling themselves...

Glad you are looking for work and not looking for handouts... Unemployment is being cut in the NYC tri-state area... And yes what I'm saying IS true about pharmacists denying people... Every single pharmacy is stocked with oxy and xanax and all that type of stuff... They might be out for a week because they may have been robbed so they don't order anything else for a week... But they're always stocked... The best big name chain pharmacy is Walgreens... They're always stocked especially with 15mg's... But since most of you are on 30mg's let me give you an inside scoop... The 30mg oxycodone is gonna be changing within a year... They're going to do the same thing to the 30mg's that they did to Oxycontin... They're gonna add the gel/wax so they cannot be crushed... But they won't be doing that to the 15mg... I think that this will happen within the next year but it may not happen at all... But I heard that from pretty reliable sources...

And they're just junkies looking for a high... But yes there are people who are in real pain and have to deal with that everyday... My father is one of those people and I am another... I had a weightlifting accident while I was squatting... I was adjusting the bar on my neck and I stepped the wrong way and the bar that was holding 300 plus pounds rolled down my neck... Now I have a bulging bone in the back of my neck... Trust me its no picnic and I do sympathize with real people... My primary just referred me to pain management...

You hold that you are NOT a junkie even though you take addictive meds because your dosing regimen is warranted by the severity of your pain. And whereas yes, everyone can say that, you actually are responsible with heavily adictive C-II meds because you use them for pain and not fun and not everyone out there is a crack-wh*** butu 99% are.

I am a MAD MAD MAD MAD MAN! Today been to 20 pharmacys at least. Finally found Walgreens that had my meds and man behind the counter says "I don't feel comfortable filling this script." I am 100% legal! I am a US Citizen and need these meds to function! I am extremely angry that these pharmacists think they can play God! WHAT HORRIBLE PEOPLE! We need to take a stand and fight for pain patient rights!
